Great item for serious cooks at great price

Something that's really hard to find in stores. If you do they're exorbitantly priced by the piece. I'll have to give some away because I wanted half a dozen but at the by-the-dozen price, it really doesn't matter. They stack well and store well.

It's hard to get excited about glass bowls, but I give this product five stars because: 1. It is exactly as described, and that description is why I ordered it; and 2. It came VERY WELL packed ... zero breakage, which some others complained about; and 3. Price was competitive, and delivery was timely (although that may be attributable to Amazon). In other words, I got exactly what I wanted.

Quality and Convenience!

I’ve been wanting some small bowls to use as prep containers when I bake. These little glass bowls are perfect. They are useful as dip or sauce containers, as well as handy portion control dessert dishes. They seem sturdy being made of a thick glass. I’ve only used them a few times so far, but I think they are what I’ve been looking for.

Use them all the time

Great size for everyday use. Great for meal prep days for spices and lots of little ingredients. Great for reheating a little thing to put in a meal where some ingredients are cold. Like tacos, burritos. Heat the beans or rice in these. Mix soy sauce dips for sushi. They fit nicely in the dishwasher top rack.

Facilitates Quick Meal Assembly

Makes my meal prep easier, more convenient. I line these up on the counter in the order they need to be added to a recipe so that everything goes in at the optimum moment. As, sizzle the minced shallots till soft and aromatic, then add the vegetable stock concentrate and garlic powder, etc.

Great little bowls

I was looking for small bowls to use for dipping sauces or to make food preparation easier. Having twelve small bowls allows for utilizing some for food prep while other can be used for various dipping sauces. Pros: Clear glass, easy to see what is in them Just the right size for individual dipping, one bowl for everyone Easily stackable for easy storage Cons: Feel a little thin but have not cracked one yet Really like these bowls for various Chinese dipping sauces (i.e.: sweet Thai chili sauce, wasabi, and soy sauce. We also use them for when the grandchildren come to visit, they like to dipping chicken nuggets and they can each have their own dipping bowl with whatever BBQ sauce they want. Very pleased with the bowls and would recommend them to anyone Looking for small individual dipping or prep bowls that are just big enough but not to big.

First Rate Quality - Be Sure to Take Note of the Bowl Size

These glass bowls are as good quality as the major brands, but these are much more reasonably priced. In my review I provided 3 stars for "Versatility" and this is due to the small size - the 3 star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the bowls. Simply put, a small bowl is ideal for holding ingredients for a recipe and maybe for holding nuts in a cocktail party, but that is about it. I am so pleased with the quality that I will likely purchase another set.

well made, useful.

These are just like the little glass bowls you see celebrity chefs use in cooking tutorials to hold their chopped chives or pre-measured paprika, etc. The glassware is well made, completely smooth- no perceivable seams left from the manufacturing process. I've dropped these on the hardwood floor, knocked them into the ceramic sink onto plates and bowls (never intentionally of course) and not a one has shattered. These little things are quite sturdy.

Exactly what I was looking for

I originally purchased a set of four glass mini bowls at a retail store. I found so many uses for them I decided to get more. I couldn’t find them again so checked on Amazon and — voila — a whole dozen at once! I use them in the kitchen, at the table (wonderful for olive pits, condiments, egg shells), in the bathroom (hair clips, etc) on my vanity (for use with nail products and facial peels) ... These were a perfect match and I’m very happy to have found them.
