Worked perfectly during our recent beach vacation with my 8.5 month old. The brim provided ample coverage, without limiting her sight. You can easily the adjust the fit of the hat by using the toggle. The tie closure helped deter my baby from pulling the hat off. She would mess with the hat for the first minute or so, but then she was fine. It came in so handy! We will continue to use this when she is in the baby carrier. I was sad that the pretty eyelet version was back-ordered, and I ended up with the plain white version. It is nice and bright, and looked girly enough for me, which was a happy surprise. I would definitely buy again.
Things I love about this hat, that I haven't been able to find at say Target and other retailers. Especially, with the weather heating up, I was looking for something like this. -It has a tie string (I tie it around babies chin and its not too long where he will undo the knot/bow -You can adjust the top of the hat to fit baby's head circumference. -Wide enough where it will cover baby's neck in the back. -Nicely made and cute design ( I purchased the shark design) Will be purchasing other designs. :)

At first I thought I wouldn't be able to use it, but frankly I love the fact that it's large on her. It covers more of her shoulders and face. And now she's got this hat for a while so she can grow into it - or until we lose it. Either way, we'd probably just buy another one.
Love this hat for my almost 5 month old! I got the light blue for my boy and the string that allows you to make the hat fit works great along with the strings on the side to tie the hat around his head so it doesn't fall off.
i bought 12-24 month size for my 9month old because i wanted max coverage for my baby’s face. It is a perfect sun hat for my baby boy. This size for my baby boy not intended for daily use though. It sort of droops over baby face so it’s more for park trips, beach or poolside. You can kinda flip the front up to allow baby to see. Also the adjustable strap is not as tight as i thought, but nonetheless it’s still a great sun hat. It provides so much shade/coverage for baby’s face, neck and little shoulders. Your baby will be well protected from the sun. It fits him big now but thats how i wanted it to fit for better protection from the sun. Once he grows into it, it will be proportioned. I love this little sun hat for my baby! If you want oversized floppy hat defintely size up.

Bought for my 6 month old. It keeps her cool and protected from the sun, the band has a pullstring to adjust for bigger or smaller headsize. Well worth the money!
