Solid repair, saved $$
I broke the sliding plastic storage cover on my jet ski. Replacement cover was over $60. I used this J-B weld to repair the break and so far so good. Used a small amount placed along the broken pieces to "tack" them back together in correct position. Let it sit overnight to set. Next day, following advice from posters on internet, I placed fiberglass mesh tape, the kind used in drywall repair, along the break then put a layer of J-B over it. Let this sit overnight. Next day I was amazed at how strong this repair appears. I had to flex the broken part to reinstall it on the jet ski. Repair feels just a solid as the part was originally.

Great to use With Fiberglass Cloth
The only plastic repair product that is better than this, is JB Weld plastic epoxy putty (easier to work with because it is putty). But if you want a super-strong thin plastic repair, this works better than other products. Buy some fiberglass cloth from the auto parts store and "glue" the cloth to the back of the plastic sheet with this product. Be sure to wear gloves, because you will make a mess and never get it off of your hands. And don't try to move the cloth around after it is pressed into place; it with fray apart easily.

Very strong and works for heavy bumper plastic
I was a little sceptical because the bottom of my bumper had one metal brace at each end holding the bottom portion on. Well after i removed the metal braces and screws i realized just how much weight was being held andc thought i was svrewed. I applied the jbweld and affixed masking tape to hold the repair in place with weight off the area. I used a rope arrangement to take off the weight bearing on the area first or the tape would be useless. The masking tape concerned me because i was not sure if that would adhere permanently to the jbweld fix. Well after an hour the jbweld was dry. Well sooner but i waited an hour. Took off tape without issue. It turned into super hard plastic and held the bumper in place like it was one piece. Unbelievable ! I did not sand or prepare edges of cracks first either. I did however put jbweld inside crack and then liberally on front and back of crack to create a cocoon. And yes then the tape to flatten the glue and hold repair in place. This really works and worth every penny. Small note. I had my bumper off when i did this above. I was painting it at the time otherwise i would have just applied it. Then i would have still used a rope system to hold in place and braces underneath to hold the weight of bumper ** Nearly one year later. Ive noticed people have chosen my response as helpful. My car bumper has gone through the winter driving over pot holes heavy winds. And still holding on very securely. Thank you again jbweld. You saved me and others a thousand dollars.

This stuff is great. I used it to repair a plastic trim panel that I had broken when I took it apart. Contrary to what another review said, it does stick to black electrical tape. I used tape to create a form to fill the hole, then removed the tape. sanded it down with increasing grits up to 40000, and it blends right it. The color is pretty close to the interior trim of my 2009 GTI. Couldn't be happier.

This stuff is truly amazing! Restoring a semi-antique car - it's great for fixing things like cracked console, radio/climate control surround, side marker lights, broken plastic clips and on and on. It also bonds plastic to metal. It holds where super glue, other plastic glues and epoxy failed. It does set in about 30 min, but I give it overnight, and then if need be you can file or grind it. I have not scientifically tested the claimed 3700 PSI strength, but it's held up for everything I've thrown at it! Highly recommended if black works for you. No, this is not a paid advertisement - just a happy customer.

The stuff is amazing
Used it to fix a tab on plastic window trim that broke on my car years ago which made it pop up and stay loose. Tried all types of glue, even Krazy glue gel, and they never held. This JB Weld plastic bonder was the only thing that did the trick. I started using it to fix all sorts of things. Amazingly strong bonding and has the extra benefit of being able to be used as a gap filler too. Don't throw away any of your broken plastic stuff until you try this.

Worked like a Charm, met all my high expectations beautifully.
This stuff worked great on my daughters Amazon Echo when it took a dive off a kitchen shelf and hit the ground 6 feet lower, the top piece had four screw cylinders that mostly sheered off that the screws could not longer use to clamp down, so I ordered JB Weld Plastic Bond because of the reviews and my past experience with their other products in the garage. I was able to mix it, apply to both sides, set the screws in and clamp it all together, 45 minutes later it was as hard as the original plastic and I reinstalled the part and was a hero to my 23 year old daughter for fixing her Echo. I kept the left over mix to check it out and was very impressed with how tough it was and how it adhered to the wood and plastic pieces I used to mix and apply the mix. I was also very happy with out the twist lock cap went back on to keep the product good until I the next time I might use it. I will try to come here and update my review as I try new uses for it.

Great for lead glass repair!
My roommates cat knocked over my glass lamp and broke a few panes. I used this bonder in a syringe to gently pipe in a new bead of "lead" and fill in a small crack on one of the glass panes. It is a little noticeable on very close inspection but if I had been just a tiny bit more careful, I think the repair would be completely indistinguishable (hopefully there won't be a next time). Best of all, it reinforced the integrity of the shade, restoring the original look and strength.

Black leaves a beautiful finish (not to mention strong)
I use to use a clear version of this that cured in 5 mins and I was always rushing to get the job done - I am glad I made the move to 15 min. Gives me more time to get things clamped and in order but still rock solid in 30 mins. J-B Weld products never disappoint me!. I am VERY impressed with how attractive the finish is on the black - it is shiny and looks great. BIG TIP: to make it look its best hit it with a very light torch flame for a secord or two so it melts it flat and level if your project allows it - but you must do this in the first 10 mins or its not liquid enough even with heat to self level - too much heat and it will bubble so try a test piece before you do your project. GOOD LUCK!

This plastic panel filler worked well for filling holes in interior vehicle plastics caused by former police duty. Just mix, use something to apply to the area, and then once it fully cures you can sand it flat. It is very tough stuff which is nice but it makes sanding difficult so get it as flat as possible when applying it. After sanded, you can use heat from a heat gun or hair dryer to reseal the top finish so the gloss comes back.
