I discovered this yarn by way of a You Tube video about crocheting a small rug. I am enjoying the project SO MUCH in no small part because of this yarn. I've never used anything like it before. It seems to not be made of individual strands so there is no seperating ever!

Great product!!! Finally finished my Afghan!!! Couldn’t find this yarn locally. Thanks!!!!

I just love this yarn! It works up super nice. I ordered because I couldn't find any this color at my local Walmart. I had to pay shipping but did get the color I wanted so that was great! Then the next time I went to Walmart they had this color in stock finally! Would ya know it! LOL. Oh well! Its a great yarn tho I love it! Thanks Amazon!

I love this yarn! I randomly saw in store and purchased more on amazon because it’s less expensive than in a craft store. It’s very soft, a t-shirt or jersey materiel and extremely easy t knit. This would be great for beginners as the yarn doesn’t split apart or get stuck/snapped on the knitting needles. I’ve made several scarves very quickly because it’s so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend!

This yarn is soft and easy to use. I am currently working on a piece of a blanket, using a box stitch and a K hook! $5.41 is cheaper than Michael's even with the 50% off coupon! I recommend!

Love this yarn. Super easy to work with. The material isn't like spun yarn. It's more like a fabric. Reminds me of the pull string on a hoodie. I made a blanket with it and I love it. It's stretchy and kind of heavy but not smothering. Worth the money.

I purchased 12 skeins of the Bernat Maker Home Dec Yarn. Four in the Clay, 4 in the Cream and 4 in the Pebble Beach. The cream in the Pebble Beach matches the regular Cream and the Clay color matches in gray in the Pebble Beach. I just finished a 6' x 4' afghan and absolutely LOVE this yarn. It's very soft and glides through you fingers and hooks! I wish it cam in more colors!!! There are two things you need to know if you haven't used this yarn before & want to purchase: 1. It is somewhat stretchy so may change crochet hook size down one if you have a tighter tension. I had to alter my pattern and skip some stitches to get it to look like it should. 2. In every single skein I purchased there was a knot in the middle attaching two ends. Easy fix though...you just cut the knot out and start fresh as in changing colors or use Liquid Stitch or E-6000 to fortify the knot and hide it in your work. Either way, I was a little disappointed in the knots but I LOVE this yarn so much it didn't really matter.

Feels like t-shirt material (jersey) rolled into yarn. I think I'll use it to make a shawl. It's accurate to describe the color as clay; not gray, not brown, something in between. Nice product.

This Maker Home Decor Yarn from Bernat is unique and perfect for a 4 season afghan or throw. This is not traditional yarn. Instead, it is a knitted tube of T-shirt material. The fiber content is 72% cotton and 28% nylon so it's smooth and easy to knit and the nylon content keeps it from shrinking. It's a Bulky 5 weight. The recommended size knitting needles are 8mm or US size 11. The recommended crochet hook size is 8mm or US size L/11. I'm making a twin size blanket and I find this so nice to knit with. Because it is a smooth tube, there is no splitting of the yarn or fuzziness if you have to rip out some stitches. The resulting knitted fabric is not warm like wool so it's perfect for Texas weather. It's weighty when worked up and will be a nice, heavy top layer in colder months. I got the Pacific Variegated and it has faded blue gray, light aqua and pea green colors that knit into a pleasing camo pattern in cool, beachy colors. I purchased this yarn in the aqua solid to create a contrasting border and it matches perfectly. Also, I wasn't able to find enough in one dye lot so I got as many different dye lots as possible and the result is fine - probably because this is a variegated yarn. So far, I have only found one cut and tie in 3 skeins so the I'm pleased with the quality.

Great yarn for an Afghan, the color is vibrant, the texture is smooth, the yarn is easy to work with when using larger knitting needles.
