I'll be honest, as someone who's built rex and the other barbatos I was wondering if buying this and the option set with it was worth it and it was worth every penny, it is easily one of THE most visually pleasing ibo kits and not bad to pose, some minor details pile the blue on the side boosters need paint but other than that it's really show accurate. I recommend nit only this kit but the option set with it if you have even the slightest interest in this Gundam.

My first kit, I was kind of overwhelmed with the number of tiny parts, especially in the head, but aside from a box cutter and a file to take the parts off the runners, I didn't need any tools to assemble each piece. A great start to the hobby, makes me wanna try real grades next. I reccommend getting it with the IBA Options set 5, with the rest of Lupus's weaponry

Requested as a Christmas gift by my best friend's son. He was beaming when he saw what we had gotten for him! He opened the package and delicately checked all of the pieces to assemble the character. He said he was going to wait for a very special time to put it together. He loves all of the characters in this series

Enjoy the build but seems to get old if you've build other ibo kit. Got this mostly for display and not for the experience in building the kit. Still recommend it, simple yet the kit have enough deliver that makes it stand out. Lack of weapons included was a minus but to keep cost down, it really evens it out. Best Barbatos (imo)!

Kit came sealed, no complaints. Excellent kit, really quick build, excellent for beginners. But has a lot of little details that are just begging to be painted. This kit comes with 1 weapon, the sword-mace. And 2 sets of hands, grippy hands and angled grippy hands. Stickers aren't too egregious and there aren't many. Outside of the eyes and details on the knees, the rest are just color apps.

Suppose to get it Oct 23....oops it’s Oct 20! Man and I wanted to complain. Did not come with plastic wrap but it did come with a set of trading cards in box then taped shut. What the heck! This ain’t normal. Have to say buy your Gundam kits from Deputi-japan. I know many venders sell this product and to tell you the truth this one cost a few cents more than another vender which I did not know. But I guess this vender is old school and gives you more than you paid for. Just like the old days when I was a kid and the owner gave me a piece of candy for free when my parents bought us something. Kit had everything in it, box was great and I’m primering it as I type. All is good. Have a great day. UPDATE: Fun build, but need to be careful of sanding nubs. Some are right in the open visual areas (thigh). I ended up sanding away some panel marks. Made my own with a knife and it took a long time. Time to invest in panel line scribe. Also get some cement glue. Some seems don’t close all the way. See elbow. But all that aside, it’s FUN!

Definitely a new favorite, the Gundam Barbatos Lupus is a perfect mix of RG And HG kits. The internal frame of the kit makes customizing a breeze using parts from other Gundam kits in the IBO line. Definitely replaces Gundam Heavyarms Custom as my new favorite.

Great fun and first gundam build. I am very happy with how it turned out after building and detailing the gundam. Some joints a just a hair bit loose but it is an easy fix if you take clear coat nail polish to thinly coat the ball joint. Painted his eyes red to show him in full throttle mode and he looks awesome! Also used none of the stickers knowing it will fall off later and painted all the details in.

Easy and cheap high grade of the IBO serie. A good way for beginners of gunpla and a nice exercise for pro. If you want to let it with stickers and nothing more is pretty good, but if you want to custimize it with paint, you can find some problems with some pieces that make painting very hard. For example the seam line of the arms is not in the middle and is pretty hard to remove sanding it, and the inner frame (not a real inner frame like RG) in some parts is impossible to remove from the outer pieces. It seems like BANDAI after several years of plamo, has not learn hot to project gunpla for make them easy to paint... You can bypass this problem with some masking tape and patience. For this price is the cheaper on Amazon- Good seller, the package arrived in the expected time (more or less a month from Japan to Italy with free shipping) and he gifted me a clear action base of the IBO serie, a collectable card and some flyers. I have ordered many other gunpla for the next months!

Just got it today, checked over the runners and stuff .... Even got a Gundam Barbatos Lupus Trading card too which was a nice surprise .... wasn't expecting this for another few days so i'm really jazzed and cant wait till I clean up the pieces, prime, paint and all that other jazz :D gonna think about a paint scheme .... Gonna deffinatly get hg 1/144 MS option set 5 & Tekkaden Mobile Worker for the weapons from the anime .... That's the only downside I can see with this kit, is it only comes with the Sword Mace, but that doesn't bother me cause i'm a simple guy and love the Samurai feel ..... Love the design except for the high heel lol .... some reason i'm just not digging high heel feet ... guess I love the orginal style foot ... maybe if they made a foot that looked like a boot idk :D
