The saw and trimmer both work as expected. The battery lasts a good while. You will feel the weight of the tools, especially when using the extension. The opening for the bar oil reservoir could be larger. It is difficult to remove the battery from the tool. I had to gently pry at it with a screwdriver. I put a very light coating of WD40 on the rails and it seemed to help. All in all I think this is a great buy with both tools and the extension.

I was skeptical about getting a 40v system. Was originally going to get the 80v system by Worx. This system came up cheaper then the 80v system with both trimmer and pole saw. I am sooooo glad i bought this. Greenworks is a known brand, and the 40v system works great. Just wish it came with the carry bag instead of having to purchase it separate. But it was only 14.00 on Amazon. I Love this system. Need to purchase the weed eater with the battery next. That way i have all of it. Plus 2 batteries. Highly Recommend this. I used it for trimming around the house and out at my hunting grounds. Makes easy work out of everything.

Works great and quality ok. Battery lasts a good couple hours which is more than enough for some hedge trimming and pole sawing. Used it a few times since purchasing and it seems reliable and still works well. Recommend this to others.

Product is heavy, initially a bit painful to connect the rods but loosens up after a few uses. Reach is not very good for taller palm trees. Have not used the hedging tool yet, used another hedging tool from the same manufacturer. Saw is good quality and does the job pretty well. Trimmer a lot of trees and branches in my front and back yard. Saved me over $400 on a single use. Didn't need to call out a guy to trim my palms or my trees so didn't have to worry about scheduling etc..

They work great. They are heavy and when the extender pole is attached you have to be very careful to control it, but with the current battery technology I don't know that this is something that can be changed. The weight of the battery does somewhat offset the weight of the long pole. The saw isn't as unwieldy. It zips right through branches though and is SO much easier than the old extendable hand saw that I used to use. I'm pretty impressed with all of the Greenworks stuff I have. I have the chain saw, weed whacker, and the leaf blower as well.

This works really well. I cut up to about 3/4" branches with the trimmer. Probably not recommended, but it took them out just the same. I was able to, in 15 minutes, trim a few trees, remove a few bushes, take out some blackberry bushes and English Ivy. That was about 25% of the battery power. I loaned it to some friends why used the chainsaw and the hedge trimmer. They were super amazed with it. When I asked for it back, the wife of the friend, looked at me funny. She didn't want to give it back to me. So this review has two thumbs up from three people.

I borrowed my neighbors before buying. He had and older model and was very pleased . I was tired of climbing ladders to trim my pool surround hedges. I was able to stand on the ground and trim the hedges. Plenty of power and battery life. I also used the chain saw attachment to trim an oak tree from the ground. Liteweight enough for extended trimming time. Well done.

Chain saw cuts through like butter and the trimmer works well. Also, as an added bonus, working it fully extended gives you a great arm workout. I would buy again...love GreenWorks!

I couldn't be happier. The hedge trimmer and chain saw attachment are both just as good as my gas powered tools and the battery lasts far longer than I thought it would. Actually, I've never used more that 50% of the battery even though I've used the trimmer to trim very large hedges, and the pruner to clean my yard (and my neighbor's) of quite a few small trees and tree branches. Beyond that, the battery recharges fully in less than an hour. The chain saw pruner is a lot sharper and more effective that I thought and the first couple of tree branches that I undercut surprised me when they were cut nearly all the way through and pinched the saw. I also love the fact that the tools are a lot lighter than my gas powered tools and my 77 year old arms and shoulders appreciate that.

I have some trees that really needed some work. Buying this kit was a great option. Carefully used it did exactly what I expected.
