Second on of these I bought. Got it for my wife's office and she loved it. My daughter loves science and astromomy so this gift clicked perfect with her. Nice and heavy, slight seam line. Looks great on the stand.

Good Quality, High Detail, Heavy Weight

It's a good quality desk accessory. I was concerned that being so inexpensive it might look cheap, but it looks great. The detail is much higher than I expected. The planetary moons are represented with black dots. I don't know if the number of moons around each planet is accurate. Jupiter is shown with rings and 5 moons which vary in size. Other planets also have varying numbers of moons. I don't know if the sphere is glass or acrylic. It is heavy enough to be glass and is exceptionally clear. The weight seems to surprise people who pick it up. It's been dropped a few times and doesn't scratch easily. The base is wood and the globe rests on an indent in the base. You could use it with another base.

Love it! Great gift!

This came in a beautiful box with satin inlay, with a molded insert underneath to hold it in place. Very heavy. Beautiful colors. Shows moons of each planet as well. Base might have a chip or two in lacquer, but I only noticed because I looked closely specifically to review it. Solar system sphere is much heavier than I expected. It's beautiful! I love it!

You ought to be in pictures.

Bought a glass multi-color base cheaper & it's great. Watch out for your sphere rolling off the base because the holder is not too deep. This little beauty was used as a prop on a Cable TV space show called "The Orville". It was displayed on the Space Captain's Desk. WoW!

The size is great and the details are fantastic.

It's beautiful! I bought it for my husband for Christmas the only complaint is that Pluto isn't there but otherwise it's magnificent and so wanderfully done.

Very pretty

It was a Christmas gift. I knew it was a hit when I saw my granddaughter had it out on her bookcase. It is a pretty item.

perfect size and has "hand blown" glass look. Not a perfect circle. Love it

small, but beautiful. Well packaged and came with the nice wooden stand. Great for any "space nut"
