Ok, so the last brand of "unflavored" gelatin I bought smelled and tasted like cow manure- yuk barf gross-why??! Soo I've been on the hunt for a truly tasteless gelatin and here it is. I really need to have this every day to calm down my ulcerative colitis/crohns disease. It is totally tasteless and awesome. I can put it in my bone broth, juice, or make jello. Just read up on how to dissolve it before you start so you don't get clumps.

I like buying in bulk, got tired of opening little packets! I made 16oz of gummy or jellies with this and they came out perfect. I do recommend that you always bloom the gelatin before heating. I mixed my other ingredients stirred them well then sprinkled the gelatin on top and let it set till liquid was absorbed. Then turned on my burner to low 3 setting start stirring, once it has heated through get your baster suck up the liquid and fill silicone molds. My yield was 8 molds each mold has 12. Place these on large cookie sheet 1st, I had to use a small flexible cutting mat laid on top of other molds for the last 2. Enjoy.

Thanksgiving usually means lots of time in the kitchen with the big old Turkey and the same boring sides. Unless you have gelatin, a surplus of alcohol, too much snow outside, and legal adults. Then it turns into a gummy bear fiesta of cocktail flavors. This bag made nearly 600 gummy bears. Probably more, but when you stop counting and start eating, it is a good sign!

Makes great gelatin, just a cup of you preferred sweetener (or the equivalent to a cup of sugar), a packet of koolaid, and 4 cups of water. Add gelatin, koolaid, and sweetener with 2 cups cold water stir together till dissolved then add 2 cups of boiling water and stir until clear, chill for 4-8 hours, comes out great. You can also use the water bottle drink packets, but the water to packet is cut in half, so for 4 cups of water you would use 4 packet tubes as the gelatin needs more flavor. Haven't tried the water bottle liquid flavors yet to make gelatin, but will be doing that soon.

This is great gelatin especially for making gummy bears. Less expensive generic gelatin has a real funky smell, but not this one. This gelatin is much better. It has a very mild gelatin smell but nothing like the generic stuff. Works great for gummy bears or any other dishes which need unflavored gelatin. I've made a number of batches of gummy bears and every one of them comes out perfect.

Bought this to make gummy bears with my kids. There’s a learning curve with how much to use. It’s generally odorless but there’s definitely some bovine funk when mixed with citrus juices. Tip: give the gelatin a few minutes to bloom before heating. Helps eliminate clumping.

I use this along with CollagenUp, won't mix well but I have no problem just dowing it. Along with Glucosamine Chondroitin AND D3 5000 NO MORE JOINT PAIN!

I'm thrilled with this brand of gelatin. It truly is "unflavored". I've purchased some in the past that have been horrible. As soon as you open the container, it smells like a barnyard. BUT NOT THIS ONE! I love it. I use it in my homemade yogurt, soups, smoothies, etc. There is absolutely no flavor. It simply thickens as promised. I love this brand! Remember to place gelatin into a COLD mixture to dissolve it and SLOWLY add this mixture to whatever sauce or liquid you want to thicken. A little goes a long way - too much and you've got JELLO!

Having had bariatric surgery, In always on the lookout for any xtra protein I can include to meet the dietary requirement (like adding hemp seeds to all my crockpot recipes, bone brotha instead of regular broth, etc). And, because I'm also a diabetic, I'm also extremely careful about added sugars -but esp artificial sweeteners, because some, like sucralose, still impact glucose & some (particularly aspertame) increases the painful pins-&-needless neuropathic pain I suffer from which especially affects my ability to sleep. Why tell you all this? Because, having an extremely well-managed diet is essential for me to function at all. But sometimes, I just need something sweet, dang it! Enter this gelatin, a few packets of TrueLemon or TrueLime (stevia sweetened), and Voilá! Jello that I can eat, without increased nightly nerve pain, without skyrocketing my blood glucose, and an added 7grams of protein per serving, PLUS, being jello, it counts towards my daily H2O quota! All without any guilt. And sure, I use it for other recipes, too (from soups to shakes to making my own supplement capsules), but my absolute favorite way to enjoy the benefits of this is in my jello. No nasty -before or after- taste, versatile, nutritious, with a host of other health benefits. Win-win, all around!

I used this entire bag to make marshmallows and I loved it! This worked consistently and bloomed really well for making marshmallows. The only reason why I switched to a different brand was price. I was able to find another grass fed beef option for a lower price and profit margins are already thin enough as it is. However, if you're looking to make marshmallows with it, you won't be disappointed! **update** I’ve gone back to this brand because the other one didn’t bloom consistently. One time it would fully bloom and the next it would stay runny. It was NOW foods brand. Probably good for anything that doesn’t require a proper bloom.
