Good style, nice price
I got this as a present for my fiance, I opened it up to make sure there wasn't any damage and it looks very nice. I did a little shopping around and this one had good reviews and the temp ceiling of 500 F was 100 to 200 degrees higher than other budget priced dutch ovens. I'll see about updating this later after we use it for a while. Update: we've been using this for a few months and so far no issues. It still looks nice and I didn't realize when I bought it but it works well on an induction stove top. Over all it's a great value.

Wow This is Great!
>.. I had gotten a big blue enameled pot in a secondhand store. And after a few years there were some spots of rust where the enamel had chipped off. the problem wasn't that the spots were there, it was that the rust loosened more and more of the enamel. Time for a new -NEW- pot. >.. This pot is heavier than the one I had before, but it has the kind of lid I was looking for as we do a lot of braising, and the many little icicles drip the solution back onto the meat as it is supposed to do. The lid is heavy too, but still just what I needed. I am past retirement age, but not frail. The lid is just heavier than the old one, so it takes a little getting used to. >.. The people who made this pot were thinking of me. The enamel seems to adhere very well, and I suppose it is thicker than the earlier pot. Like most enameled pots, it can be scratched by metal tools, so I use bamboo and silicone tools to stir, blend, lift, etc what ever is in the pot. >.. the color of this pot (RED!) makes it easy to find in my largely black, chrome, and white kitchen. and it looks great on my black and chrome gas stove. Once it is in the oven, though it dissapears. The pot, like the lid is substantial, and clearly of cast iron. >.. To get the braising started, I bring the pot to a boil on the stove, then put it in a heated oven for the required amount of time. This save me an extra hour or two to get the pot to the braising temperature. Beef, pork, chickens, all cook well to the recipes in this pot. It has taken no abuse, other than frequent use, which does not bother this pot. >.. CLEANING: as with most enameled pots, it is easy to clean. Where I have 'burned' on something, I find the sponges with plastic scraping surface to be a very effective tool in quickly cleaning the surface. I prefer the green sponges with the green scraping plastic over the green and white or green and yellow ones. But it is probably just my prejudice and not something significant. The outside cleans just as easily, as I tend to slurp a bit of liquid on the outside as I do transfers of the meat, or the juices (so good). >.. I have used this on the stove top to make Mac and Cheese for the Grand-kids. It worked well over direct heat as it does in braising, and no discoloration to the outside of the pot. >.. OVERALL: heavy, but expected that. Excellent lid designed for braising. Bright color easy to find, and hard to overlook. Seems durable, and it is easy to clean. FIVE STARS!

Enameled Dutch Oven a well-made bargain.
Nice dutch oven. Same apparent quality as a La Cruset from Framce, but at less than $40, definitely a better bargain. Very heavy for its 6.5 quart size, it has big, easy to grab handles, a good, tight-fitting lid with drip points on the lid's inside. The enamel coating inside the pot is smooth, tough, and

... enamel broken off from a lid and its really disappointed me so much because this is my first cast ...
My Cast Iron Dutch Oven that I received today is has a big pieces of enamel broken off from a lid and its really disappointed me so much because this is my first cast iron dutch oven. I have'n cook anything in it yet but I sure believed it is a good product that I am always dream to have one in my kitchen. I want to add a picture of the damage on a lid but I don't know how to transfer my picture from a cell phone to a laptop computer. I don't have much knowledge about using computer program. I wish that I can proved it to the seller. 4/15/2018 This is my update for using my Bruntmor Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven 6.5 Q. I have use its for my stir fry vegetable and meat stew and its came out very nice and I use it for fry chicken and has nothing stick in the pot. This is my first time using and owing cast iron but excepted the lid has a broken enamel really big pieces is came off from the lid when I received this product. I think its happen due to delivery process. it is disappointed to me but I don't think is the seller fault. It"s just my bad luck to received a lid that has enamel broke off other than that the pot is work well and the quality of craftsmanship of the product it is wonderful. So I will change my review to 5 star as of the quality of services from amazon and the seller who really care about customer services.

Excellent High-Quality Dutch Oven
The Bruntmor Dutch Oven is an excellent high-quality product with fantastic cost performance. It arrived in perfect condition and was very well and securely packed. I prepared a delicious rosemary, vegetable & pork roast dinner this evening and it performed beautifully. Browning the meat was easy with no sticking, and a gorgeous fond developed that quickly dissolved when cooking the vegetables. The lid fit securely and generated a good tight seal. The metallic lid knob is very strong and thick and much better than cheap plastic knobs found on most Dutch ovens. The side handles are very strong and thick for easy lifting. The dimples on the inside of the lid are an excellent idea, and help disperse condensing steam over the food during cooking that bastes the food. Cleanup was a breeze with just a little soapy water and very gentle scrubbing with a sponge. The red outer color is gorgeous and the beige interior is excellent for seeing the fond coloring. Helpful Hints: 1) NEVER use metal utensils with an enabled Dutch oven. Always use a wooden or silicon spoon and NEVER use metal whisks or tongs. Invest in a good pair of silicone-coated tongs or the enamel will get scratched over time when sautéing meat. 2) NEVER put an enameled Dutch Oven above 230C (450F) or the enamel will be ruined over time. 3) Be careful not to scratch the bottom of the Dutch oven when placing on metal stove or oven rack. Scratches will eventually cause the enamel to flake off. 4) invest in a good pair of silicon oven gloves for maximum heat protection and maintaining a good grip on the heavy Dutch oven. You can’t go wrong with this purchase in terms of: price, quality, design and attractiveness. It greatly exceeded my expectations.

FANTASTIC! I actually like mine better than the Le Creuset I've used before
This one is great- super heavy-duty and very durable. I've had it for a bit now and use it for everything- roasting meat in the oven, baking bread, sauteing and making soups on the stove top. As long as you let it cool down before cleaning you'll have no issues with chipping enamel. Scrub only with something relatively soft so you don't scratch it and it'll be almost non-stick. A soak and gentle sponging is all it takes to remove anything that does happen to stick, which is hardly anything. I've heated it as high as 465 F in the oven and had absolutely no problems at all with it. Plus it looks amazing, and the red changes to a really neat dark red after being in the oven for a bit. I've used Le Creuset before and this one feels nicer and works perfectly. So for $299 vs $41, I'd go with this version. Makes a great gift, too!

Staub buster
Couldn’t be happier with the service from this seller. My Dutch oven arrived well ahead of schedule, was well packaged yet easily accessible, with minimal materials! The pot is gorgeous and flawless, and my first cook in it went perfectly! For the money, this is an ABSOLUTE NO BRAINER! Go online, read the comparisons to Staub. At a fraction of the cost, I’m kicking myself for not buying this thing eons ago.

Love, Love, Love!
I have cooked with a number of other Dutch ovens in the past, just never bought one for myself. We have been busy raising a houseful of boys, and a small farm. My kitchen was the last place we were going to fork over perfectly good money for cookware that either the kids (The Man) were going to mess up, or I could make the same food with less expensive pots, pans, and casserole dishes. Finally the boys (all except 1) are earning their own money, and paying for their own activities, and what little bills they have, so I finally broke down, and am beginning to stock my kitchen with good tools, cookware, and dishes. This was my second purchase right behind the Kitchenaid, & not only do I use it more often, so does The Man! O_O He has never been a cook in our house beyond noodles, chef boyardee, pancakes, grill cheeses, and occasional pancake breakfasts. Well - there were times when I had him brown the beef, or a few simple things like that when I had my hands full, or was sick. Any who - I had asked him to brown the beef for spaghetti dinner, and he fell in love with the pot! He doesn’t really enjoy cooking, nor has he been any good at it; However he has not only loved, and wanted to do more cooking - with this pot he has actually been cooking some really good food! (I kick myself for not buying one sooner) He’s not burning, or drying anything out, and he is really getting into the 1 pot dinners! I have been talking him through some of the more complex recipes, or dishes I cook that he really likes, but I have not once had to jump in to save a dish. He has actually gotten really good at a number of dishes! To say I am absolutely stunned is an understatement by far!! I have spent most of my adult life with this man, and this is totally new, and totally out of character! Not only has it always been a favorite pot, pan, casserole dish, I am now absolutely in love with it, & I absolutely-DO recommend this Dutch Oven to everyone looking for to add one to their kitchen lineup, & I hope my review is helpful to you!’ P.s. enamel is perfect, and the pot has a good weight to it, as does the lid We added a Black Friday deal we tried to hit, but missed them, and bought a red one here on Amazon.

A great deal for a great product!
Ok I finally used my Bruntmor and I am so thoroughly satisfied. Used it many times in preparing thanksgiving dishes and was very pleased. I used to own a Le Cruesset (which I also loved) but now needed something that was comparable, yet less expensive. The Bruntmor is it. Affordable and yields consistent results each time I use it. The size is small, perfect for myself and my roommate. It yields approximately 2 to 4 healthy servings. Would get a bigger size for a family of four. For me, it is all I need. Also, because it is cast iron it is heavy. I don’t mind it’s weight, but wouldn’t recommend it for my mom who is in her late 70’s. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Will definitely purchase again when I need to.
