I like them a lot, however plan to replace all the screws

I like them so well I bought 24 of them. They have been ground well. I didn't know of the XL version that was a $1 more at the time but I mill them to size as needed. One caveat though THE SCREWS ARE GARBAGE! You should plan on replacing all of the screws. Heck the threads snapped on one while I was hand tightening with my fingers, not even kidding. I still am happy I bought them, I just wish I would have seen the XL.

An inexpensive option for the cost-conscious lathe owner.

These toolholders are great. They will fit any AXA quick change tool post from any manufacturer, as long as it's type AXA. The height adjustment uses a combination of a knurled nut, wave washer and hex nut to keep it from moving around when being handled, installed or removed on the lathe. The items are packed coated with what I am betting is way oil, so unlike cosmoline it wipes clean easily. The paint coating is solid, no flaking or any signs of poor surface prep. The coated part is packed in plastic then in a small cardboard box. I've bought a bunch of these and none have ever shown up with any defects, rust, or other corrosion. I am sure there are more fancy options out there, but when you consider the sheer number of these things that a lathe owner ends up with, price starts to matter, particularly when you use a lathe like I do - not professionally.

Fits the Aloris tool post perfectly.

I limited my first purchase to six pieces until I had a chance to evaluate. Having received the AXA 101s and 102s I was impressed with the fit and finish. The Accusize fit better than the Aloris and the finish grind was better. I couldn't buy tool steel stock for $19 per unit, much less the time machining them. Best money for the value I have seen in a long time. I will be buying more. DRG...

Nice Tool Holder!

I ordered these in the BX/250 size. I must say, I was very surprised. Of the various tool holder brands that I own (Grizzly & Phase II), these have the absolute best Finish! The machining is great, minimal tool marks, edge bevels are even, and the surface grinding on the backside is the Best that I've seen (Mirror Finish). At half the price of the others, I'll definitely order more of these as i need them.

Great product

I bought 4 of these 250-201 and 250-201XL and they were machined very well, I then ordered 6 more 250-201 tool holders. These fit my tool post well and hold the tool tight. Intend on buying more in the near future.

Quite serviceable tool holders

At this price, you can afford to splurge on some extra tool holders, so you can leave more tools dialed in and ready to work. These compare favorably to my other tool holders, and work fine.

Good tool at a great price

Good tool at a great price ! It's nice to be able to afford several of these on a hobbyists budget to keep the different tooling and bits set up and ready to swap quick ....isn't that why we get the QCTP in the first place ! They fit on my aloris wedge style tool post with no problem. I have purchased several of the AXA turning,facing holders and several of the AXA boring,turning,facing holders from accusize and have had no issues at all.

Quality tool holders

Ordered several of these tool holders now and they are very well made. Have nothing negative to say about them. Planning on buying more of these. THEY ARE EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS ANYTHING I'VE SEEN ON THE MARKET
