Great multipurpose kitchen towel.

Well made cotton towels. I wanted something for the kitchen as a working towel, nothing for pretty looks. These are great for that purpose. I dislike using the dishwasher. I like washing dishes by hand then drying them and putting them away, out of sight out of mind. These are great for that purpose. I keep it over my shoulder while I'm cooking. They seem like they'll last forever.

The real thing - highly absorbent and lint free

The Amazon Marketplace is so incredibly vast that it's sometimes difficult to find things that you're looking for unless you know them by name or you stumble upon them. I stumbled upon these towels when looking for other kitchen necessities. Because I spend a lot of time in my own kitchen I go through a lot of paper towels. A lot. These very absorbent and lint free kitchen towels are an economical alternative for wiping counters and drying pots, pans and dishes - or as a quick trivet. In my early years in the restaurant industry this is exactly what we used. I suggest that you wash these before using to get the full effect of the absorbency aspects of this towel.

I am a believer!

Love these! I just loaded up all the old terry cloth version and donating them, these are so much nicer to use and take up almost no space. They clean very well, did not notice any strings after washing and did not shrink much... no funny puckering after washing which was really nice.... that would have drove me nuts to be honest. Even though I am not careful at all with stains... considering these are just dish clothes of course and that is their purpose... I have not noticed substantial discoloration. They do stain somewhat of course with active use, but most of the stain does wash cleanly out and the bit left I consider character stains of a well used and happy kitchen. Great quality, low price

These lovely towels are durable, have a nice tight weave, and hold up with lots of use. I highly recommend these! One thing I use them for is covering my Kombucha jars (rubber band them over the tops), because they allow the brew to "breathe," but don't let fruit flies in.

I really like using the larger kitchen towels for drying my dishes I will even place rinsed cups on them to air dry if I am running short on time. this 18 is Fabulous. If one has never tried the larger kitchen towels I recommend giving Equinox International brand a try. No shrinking during washing, or drying and they are 100% cotton.

Honestly, nicer than I would have thought for a great price.

I washed them as soon as I got them, super fast shipping btw and they shipped to Alaska which a bunch of Amazon sellers wont do anymore so FIVE STARS for that alone; but...back to that wash and dry, they didn't shrink too noticeably. Pretty absorbent. My towels first task was wiping down the counters after I did the dishes and MY GOD why do I get so much water on the counters? Not a huge problem with these towels. Sucked up that errant sploosh like a champ. Task two, dusting. Today was dusting day so a spritz of my favorite chemical in a bottle and the dust, no more. This dish towel is INDEED the toweliest. Absolutely worth my coin.

Very absorbent, nice size

Very absorbent, nice size, perfect for the purpose I purchased them. I use these at work instead of paper towels. At the end of each trip I just put these through the wash and then back in the truck. This saves me from going through many rolls of paper towels each trip. I have other kitchen towels that I think look nicer in my kitchen, these have more of a restaurant look to them to me. But as towels go, these are as absorbent and durable as one will find in a reusable towel or rag.

Good choice

Just the right thing. Towels are adequately low-lint, wash up well, and are absorbent. We've recently switched from paper towels to mostly reusable cloth, so this came along at the right time and works very well.

I like being impressed when I didn't expect much

I haven't had these long, but so far I really like them. I had a couple of terrycloth towels, but mostly used paper towels in the kitchen up until now. It's hard to write a glowing review for a dish towel, but this is my attempt. They're nice and absorbent - much more absorbent than my old terrycloth towels believe it or not - and seem durable. I didn't expect much getting 15 of these at this price, but I'm impressed. I washed them immediately upon receiving them. They survived that with no damage like thin spots or loose threads. A little stiff on arrival they came out of the wash nice and soft. (no softener used) As other reviewers have said - out with the terrycloth. These are so much better. No lint. No loose strings. No pilling. Drape a damp one on your counter and it seems to dry much faster than the terrycloth towels I was using. These will definitely reduce my paper towel costs.
