Great !!!!!

Watch out ! I bought Two pair of these drapes for a large window. I sewed them together before I noticed the different color Both are labeled navy blue but very much different colors. Can't return them now as I've altered them. Wow !! I have to edit this review. I contacted the manufacturer. They have offered to refund my money, no return of product needed or make me a custom pair of drapes to fit my window !!! I will purchase from this company again for the rest of my rooms. Drapes are good quality. They even have weights in the hem and hang beautifully.

Exceeded expectations

I bought these because my puppy wakes uo with the sun, and I was fed up with being woken up before 5am on your day off. I was hoping these might add a touch a color to my room whole also making it a bit darker. Not only is the teal a beautiful color, but the fabric is well made and blocks out >95% of the light! I can now sleep in as late as I'd like and take naps! During the week I sometime leave them cracked open to make sure my puppy wont let me sleep through my alarm. Plus these are very affordable. I highly recommend!!!

Awesome black-out curtains that are a great find!

These are beautiful curtains. They are well made and they block out light, which is what I have been looking for. These curtains are very well made and the color is really pretty - it's like a dark plum. These are truly blackout curtains that also reduces noise, which is an additional plus!! I am very happy with my purchase!!! The price was very reasonable and each package contains 2 panels with tie-backs, which is a bonus that not often found in blackout curtains that are sold by the panel and not the set. What a great find - I have been shopping for the perfect set of curtains for some time and finally found them!

Inspired by these curtains!

Great product, color matches the picture exactly, material has a soft, silky touch and satiny look. Really nice quality. And, above all, it does make sound proof effect! We live in Hollywood, with heavy traffic 24/7. Now, it makes such difference with these curtains! Blocks the light as well, so no problem with a TV set, which hangs just on the opposite wall from the balcony (where these curtains are). We are ordering 4 more sets now, for both bedrooms and dining room. Also, we are excited with a color matching, because we are planning to order a few different colors and mix and match them. So, three out of five window in our apartment will have two panels of one color and one panel of a different color. Yeah, this product inspired me to write a whole essay about it!)))

Repeat buyer for good reason -these work great

I have quite a few pairs of these and have come back to buy them 3 times now. I love the platinum white color- it's somewhat of an almost shimmery silver white rather than stark or beige white. We have our bedroom in all white and this silver tone is really lovely. The thermal effect is great in the summer- we noticed a huge difference after putting these up... like, immediately. Light blockage is superb, so long as you can get them close to the wall. The grommets are also large enough to fit a number of curtain rods, which we have tried many. When we moved into a new house, we noticed our toddler's room gets so much light, he was waking at the crack of dawn. On top of that, the window is so large and long, that the heat was worrisome... which meant, in the winter, we could expect an issue with it being too cold. I went ahead and bought several more of these panels, and they improved the situation greatly. I have since also purchased them for a large window along our upstairs catwalk, which gets direct sun for the majority of the day. We didn't bother to place the rod for a sealing fit to the wall, so light still comes in from around the curtain- this keeps the area well lit still, but instead of frying while walking by that window, it's now very comfortable. The minute you open the curtains, the heat is blaring. Close them, and it's cooled off instantly. I definitely recommend giving these a try. The price is great for what they do and they are a more expensive looking fabric than other thermal curtains we have tried. Highly recommend.

Great Blackout Curtains!

I don't often give five stars but my bedroom has had too much light for years now and I finally broke down and replaced the puce (yes, puce) vertical blinds my family left when they moved out with black thermal blackout curtains. I have them on a low profile wrap around curtain rod so they're as close as possible to the wall to let in the least amount of light possible. These stop an incredible amount of light, not 100%, I think you need to spend a fortune not only on curtains that can stop 100% but also the hardware to hold up something that heavy. That being said these easily stop 75-85% of the light depending on the time of day and how direct the sun is on the window. They stop almost all road noise. I live next to a heavily used street and it's great not to hear the majority of cars any more. Just by feel you can tell these keep out a good amount of the Florida heat. Quite please with this purchase.

Great curtains and great price! If you want black out curtains, these are amazing!!!

I am a night shift worker, and have been for about 15 years. I started having a hard time sleeping during the day with just using a mask, and a friend suggested that I get some black out curtains. I reviewed and spent hours searching for the right ones, and I am SO glad that I chose these. I went with the dark brown/chocolate curtains and they block out about 99% of all sunlight. I have absolutely NO problems sleeping during the day now without a mask!!! I just kick myself for not ever getting any black out curtains sooner! Also, my bedroom definitely stays a lot cooler than the rest of my apartment now too. So I can attest to the fact that it also blocks out some of the heat from the sun. These curtains were in perfect condition when I got them. They're thick and sturdy, and do exactly what they promise to do. If you're looking for some great black out curtains for a good price, I highly recommend these for sure!!!!

Really nice!

These drapes are perfect for what I needed. The purple color isn't overwhelming but is a nice, rich royal purple. The blackout power is very dark. I can't tell the different in the amount of light it lets it, whether I have my mini blinds up or down. And I have easy & south facing windows. They're not incredibly heavy (but heavy enough)... I hung 2 panels on a 1" rod & don't have any concern that it will break. The finish is super nice on these too. It's a smooth, soft, satin finish & doesn't have that weird " I have blackout curtains" check weave to it. The wrinkles from being in the package came out really easily. I put 2 panels in the dryer with a damp hand towel & let it run until the towel was dry. It worked quickly & perfectly. Overall, I am very, very pleased with these drapes & would recommend or buy again. The one tiny thing I didn't like was that it came with tie backs (awesome) but they have to be hooked on something on the wall to work. They're not self adhering. But it's not a big enough deal to me to subtract a whole star.

a mama friend of mine had recommended blackout curtains

I have a 6 months old baby girl and her crib is in our bedroom, easier for all of us during night time. Our bedroom is facing east so it is very bright during daytime, never bother husband and I since we don't take naps. But since having our baby girl, and wanting her to nap as long as she needs, a mama friend of mine had recommended blackout curtains, she said it helps her baby fall asleep faster and more importantly, stay asleep. I'm sure all mamas can relate to this and want the same thing. Found this pair of blackout curtain by Miuco and when it arrived, I am amazed at the quality. Silky soft fabric, fairly thick, enough to block sun, and the color is what I was expecting. All the stitching are done very nicely, no loose thread anywhere and the metal rings are sewed well. My husband pointed out that there's weight on the bottom which is nice, so it helps the curtain stay down obviously and also straight. Beyond expectation, very nice product, lots of colors to choose from, would recommend.

Excellen bang for your buck, great quality at affordable price

I was actually very impressed with the quality of these curtains, compared to the low price. Not to mention you can buy them by the pair instead of forking out a small fortune on single panels! The fabric is thick and very soft, the grommets are beautiful. The color is vibrant and just as shown in the sample online, and these are quite thick and heavy. I bought the turquoise (for photo reference), it is hard to tell in these pictures how much light they block out as there are 4 other open windows facing the two shown. (I have not ironed out the creases either, forgive me!) They are not 100% black out but I would say this color easily blocks 85%++ of light. All in all I am incredibly happy with this purchase, I saved hundreds of dollars outfitting my house but did not get stuck with a cheap cruddy product either. :)
