In the past I have generally went with HP printers. My last two HP printers went south. Print heads, ink cartridges being dated and the last one died twice under warranty. On the third time, decided no more HP junk. This Canon has been superior in every way! Ink wells are easy to install, open the door and it goes to the one that needs to be changed! Maybe HP can learn something from Canon on this one. Printing, scanning, copying much better than the HP I had. Keep in mind the HP was several hundred dollars more expensive than this Canon! The only good thing I can say about the HP was one of the builtin functions printed different paper types: ruled, music sheets, and many others. Canon does not have that feature, but pummels HP in every other way possible! I had this printer for some time now and not one issue, mishap or sign that it will not last. I print very little, and with the HP's (when they were dating their cartridges) that was an issue. The date on the cartridges would run out before I used half the ink! Well worth the price, kinda big and bulky, but is a work horse if you need one.

I bought this MB2720 to replace my dinosaur Canon MX340 that for some reason would no longer print from my Windows computer, even with removal and replacement of drivers, etc. I was hesitant because I had issues with the MX340 and had to hardwire it to my computer because it would not remain connected to WIFI - even with multiple calls to tech support. I have to say that the new MB2720 set up was a breeze-to WIFI - it was so easy to program and tested well on 2 macs and 1 windows, as well as faxes incoming and outgoing with no problem! I have had HPs and Epson printers over the years - and have not had good luck with either, due to various reasons. Have to give this a 5 star review...great functionality and the color prints are good too! ..since this is the first day of set up, time and use will tell!

This is my second Canon printer, I also have model MB2320. I got very tired of replacing printers made by a different well known manufacturer, so I tried Canon and haven't regretted it once. This printer was well packaged and instructions are easy, set up and adding to my home network took about 15 minutes only because the printer has an alignment process that takes a few minutes. I do not understand the negative reviews with this printer, both of the Canon printers that I have purchased have worked flawlessly. The Canon that I use at work is two years old and is a workhorse at report printing. With the experience that I've had using Canon printers, I highly recommend this printer. One word of caution, you may need to temporarily turn off your firewall in order to establish printer on your network.

I needed a dual tray printer for eBay label printing as well as regular paper option. In the past I was using a manually fed compact printer, but that became super annoying very quickly. I bought this because of the LCD offering better configuration options, the two selectable feed trays, and the price point. Everyone seems to be complaining about power off settings. If you read the manual, there's several different power saving, power scheduling options enabled, some of them by default. They're all accessible in the device settings menu. The LCD menu system is fairly intuitive. I could find everything I was looking for easily. Has a touch sensitive screen, you drag your finger lightly to scroll, press firmly to select options. Another person was complaining about getting tray insertion prompts and finding those annoying. They can be turned off. For the dual tray option, I disabled the auto switch cassette option so the trays would never cross feed. When I print on my computer, you select properties and pick which cassette to pull the paper from. The Google cloud print and mobile printing apps don't seem to let you choose a tray, defaulting to tray 1. At least, I haven't found a way to do that yet. So far I've found this is a very robust machine with quick printing times. I'm very pleased with its performance. Now we just have to find some place to put it, it's huge! At least being a wireless appliance it can go anywhere in the house :)

This is a very professional, full featured printer/scanner/copier at a crazy low price! I primarily bought it so that I could easily scan multiple pages of documents at once instead of one page at a time. Not only was the entire setup process easy with my encrypted WiFi connection but I was pleased to discover that after scanning multiple pages to a PDF I could continue to add more pages to the same PDF or end the process with just the click of a mouse. Although I have not tried it yet it appears to easily scan to email as well. No reliability report yet as I just received the printer but in terms of features this is one of the most professional and capable printers I have ever owned at a crazy low price! (Easy to read instructions both in print and as follow along touch screen instructions for initial set up, which takes awhile but is shockingly simple)

I am really happy with this printer - it prints so quickly and not once was there even a small problem. No paper jam, nothing. It's like a trusty, reliable friend! * Highly Recommend * I use this printer for small business purposes in a home office setting, printing on average 20 sheets a day. Ink seems to be doing well so far. Make sure to use only Canon brand ink for this printer. I have read that things go especially wrong when you try to use alternative brands with this particular printer.

I bought this printer to replace a basic home printer that went out after about 7 years of use. What I got for what I paid is incredibly impressive. If I didn't know better I really would have guessed this printer was far more expensive that it is. The quality, speed, accessibility, etc. on this guy is what I would have expected to get from a much more expensive printer. I would and already have highly recommended this to anyone looking for a great printer.

After having this printer for about a month I started having trouble with the black ink. I kept having to clean the printer heads and there was never enough ink on the page after printing about 3 pages. I replaced the cartridge twice but it still didn't make any difference. I finally called Canon technical support. They are located in the United States which is a BIG plus. After explaining to the tech what was happening she told me she thought the tube going from the ink to the printer was probably malfunctioning. She immediately said that they would UPS me a new printer and there would be a pre-paid label to return the damaged printer. I gave this printer 5 stars because of their fantastic customer service. Nothing is perfect and sometimes a new product will have something wrong with it but if the company doesn't stand by their products then they aren't worth doing business with.

Works great; installation was fairly easy though a lot of steps. All PCs, Macs, tablets and iPhones in our home can now print wirelessly! My home office computer is a Mac and I probably will use the printer most often, but this is the first printer we have had everyone in the household can seamlessly print to. I love that it has an auto power function that can turn itself on automatically when someone needs to print. I have it set to turn off after an hour automatically as energy saver. The fax capabilities are needed less and less these days, but once in a while comes in handy. I am having an issue trying to figure out which phone cables plug in where with our voice-over-IP digital phone lines and modem/router. I have to call the phone carrier to help figure it out. With one wiring configuration, I could send and receive faxes, but lost phone signal to the other phones (land line) in the house. Now I have all phones connected but am only able to send, but not receive faxes. Other than that fax wiring issue, the print quality is great, scanning is a snap, and ease of of use and touchscreen is very intuitive. I haven't yet tried printing on photo paper yet. I wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't score super well in this regard, since it's optimized as an all around all-in-one printer and that's a lot to expect to have it also print wonderful photos.

I really like Canon printers. In January this year, I bought a Canon MX922 All One Printer, Wireless printer, and it's been one of the best I've every had, which included an HP all in one that HP stopped supporting for Windows 10, so I had to replace a perfectly good printer (planned obsolescence, anyone?). Anyway, I upgraded to this printer, which so far seems like an improvement over an already good Cannon MX922. Both the printing and scanning are faster than any all in one I've had, and the network connection seems solid. It was a little more complicated to connect to my network, but patience and good setup software from Canon won the day. Printing is clear and bright, and the claim is that the ink is more resistant to smudging and moisture, so it should be better for making photographs. I loaded the bottom tray with letter paper, and the top with photo papers. That tray easily adjusts for several different size papers, including envelopes. This printer is taller than the MX922, but it doesn't seem to have a larger footprint, and although larger it seems to weigh less. Given my horrendous experience with Brother printers and so-so experience with Epson, as well as the poor support from HP, I will most likely stick with Canon in the future. UPDATE, NOVEMBER 29, 2018: I wish I still had this printer. I had a water leak that dripped into the printer and killed it. I recycled it at Staples and said farewell. I am now using my older Canon Pixma MX922 (purchased from Amazon in Jan. 2016), which has regained its status as my daily workhorse multifunction printer. My experience with numerous printers over the past twenty years has made me a Canon fan (though my color laser printer is the ever-dependable HP CP1525nw.
