I bought this AmazonBasics Multi-Angle Portable Stand for Tablets, E-readers and Phones in Black for 9.99 with free Prime shipping. Great features like removable cushion for holding tables and phones. I like that I need to push in a button to adjust the angle, so stand doesn't adjust on its own. I fits my 2017 Amazon Fire 7 Tablet and my Samsung Galaxy s8 phone perfectly (one at a time). Good price point and great for watching Tablet or phone in bed when spouse is sleeping and I don't want to disturb him. I definitely recommend this product. Since this is a recent purchase I cannot speak to longevity, but with anything if you take good care of it, it's more likely to last a long time. As you can see in the picture the stand is barely noticeable and I just open my folio style case and drape it over the back of the stand. This way I can leave the cushion in the stand and not remove my case.

Made of metal with good cushioning, intuitive functionality, seems hardy and rugged. I have an app on my 5.5" screen phone which displays the time and I use this to turn my phone into a nighttime time display.while it charges. I had low expectations for this product, but I love it. Wouldn't change a thing. It's exactly what I needed with adjustable positioning, enough heft not to be "tippy" and the bottom where it cradles doesn't interfere much with the display. It does not slide around either.

Okay, the fact that it holds an apple may only be helpful for still-life painters looking for a compact, mini travel easel but it's just good to know. Right? This little stand is AWESOME. It's much stronger than you may think it is. It holds my Galaxy Tab S4 tablet with supreme confidence. The stand doesn't wobble AT ALL. As soon as you feel the weight of it you know it's gonna be super solid. You can quickly and easily set it to a multitude of angles by pushing the big button on the hinge. Once you push the button in you can hold it in and move it to any angle you want or SLIGHTLY move the leg back you can then release the button and it will stay depressed until it hits the next preset angle. There are MANY angles. I counted. 23 total angles it can be set to. Because the stand rotates 270 degrees around, I find only 9 of those 23 settings usable if you want to incorporate the lip in front to hold a table, phone, etc. Out of those 9 angles, I found that I only really used 2 or 3 or em' so don't worry at all about the other 14 angles. Just know that if you want to get creative with this thing, it'll GIVE you angles. For a goof, You could use it as an easy access pen holder if you wanted to (see photo). I love the fact that there is a removable insert to fit phones or tablets with cases, even thick ones (see photo). I DO think it would've been really cool if there were a neat little storage area for the insert on the stand itself cuz you could lose the insert if you're not keeping track of it. The insert doesn't "snap" into the lip but it kinda wedges in tightly. It's well engineered. I tried to shake out the insert and it wasn't budging. Oh, also, you CAN open this with just one hand (see photo) but you may need to prop it up against your leg or a table or something like that. I bought 2 of these cuz I liked it so much and you just never know when you need it. Currently, we are using this when we go out to a restaurant with our 3-year-old so he can watch Peppa Pig on Mommy's phone and we can savor a brief moment of peace over a meal. LOVE it. Recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet/phone stand...or a mini, travel easel. Hope this was helpful.

Bottom line: Versatile, great value, excellent for travel. Pros: Packs easy (small, folds flat); multiple viewing angles (upright to nearly flat); fits all iPads and iPhones; Bonus: It also supports the UE portable speaker Ultimate Ears UE ROLL 2 Black Volcano Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker Waterproof. Link two speakers each placed on their own stand for great stereo sound in the hotel room! Cons: Rubber bottom gasket detaches too easy, though this is not a deal killer.

I have a kindle with the origami foldable case for my Kindle Voyage that can also be used as a stand and it's great and all but you can't adjust the angle of the stand. So I'd have to take it out of the case and either hold it in my hand or prop a book under it on my desk. That was my solution UNTIL I ordered this stand and now I LOVE LOVE IT! This stand may be small but don't judge it by appearances. It can hold up to 11 POUNDS! I use it for my Voyage, Ipad 2, Ipod Touch, and Kindle Fire. It holds all of them and the great thing is there's a button on the side of the stand and while it is pressed in, you can adjust the angle of the stand. When you let go of the button, the stand snaps into a fixed position. There are two small plastic pads where your device leans back and one longer pad at the foot of the stand to keep your device from getting scratched. It's great for landscape or portrait positions. I LOVE this stand! Only thing negative thing I can say about it is I bought one for my grandniece who's 5 years old because she was trying every which way to get her Kindle Fire to stand up, leaning it against various objects. She had a lot of trouble finding enough force to push the button in to adjust the angle of the stand. So just to say Pre-K or Kinder kids might have trouble using it. 6 and up should be fine.

I was looking for a small stand to seat my Amazon Kindle Fire 10" HD with the charger surround in horizontal position. This works perfectly! The space where the tablet sits measures exactly 1/2" when the insert is taken out. That's the exact dimension of my tablet when the (awesome) Amazon Show-Mode charging dock case is attached. You don't have to take off the case to do this. Granted, I could just use the charging dock to stand my tablet in a horizontal position, but I wanted a smaller one for times when I want it in another room and don't want to bother with the cord. This stand is tiny when folded up and is easily adjusted for viewing angle. I don't think I'd trust it for holding my 10" tablet in vertical position, but I bought it for using only in the horizontal position. I thought the price was great, especially since it includes free Prime shipping. I highly recommend for uses such as mine.

Used the Anker stand for more than a year now, and I have to say the Amazon Basics (AB) is more intuitive in design First of all, it uses less material, which is more environmentally friendly I guess. The large whole/gap does not impact the functionality at all. Both uses the same push side of cylinder button to activate the moving mechanism. You use two hand to adjust both (unless you have really long fingers), but i find the AB is easier to setup having to push from the front rather than pull the lever from the back. For the AB, you can pull also and use the small hole as leverage with your finger AB has a small hole on the back of the stand, which is great for holding onto a charge wire in place for easy charging while using/viewing your smartphone or tablet. Note that the large whole will be covered by your smart device so the wire has to loop around. I say AB has better design where the small hole prevents the wire from sliding off the table due to gravity, random movements on a flat surface, or you accidentally knocking the wire. All padding and feet grip are very similar with slight variation in shape with two pieces being rectangular instead of oval I like how the AB has a very satisfying click sound when it adjusts to a certain angles. Anker stand is a half an inch longer. Great if you like to viewing at a very flat angle. For normal angle views both are able to match up with each other very well. Product placement. Anker is obviously concealed when in use. AB, clearly visible from the back for onlookers Weight wise, AB is slightly lighter. You will not notice a difference unless you hold them side-by-side Can fit most phones and tablets with thickness of 7/16 inches. If you remove the plastic guard, you expand it to ~1/2inches, but the device will float a bit above the stand. With that said if you plan to use this for the Nintendo Switch for example, it will fit this stand but without the guard. You can put the guard on, but it'll be really floaty. Without the plastic guard it will not scratch the system if you're careful when putting on/taking it off. For the Nintendo Switch, i recommend the stand that came with your Nintendo Wii U Wii U GamePad Stand Cradle Set as it fits perfectly, but note that it's not fold-able Overall as a stand, both work very well. If you plan to charge your phone while using the stand often, I say the Amazon Basics is a better choice

The unit is small when folded, but easily holds my iPad in its Belkin case in a portrait orientation. I also purchased the more expensive Lamicall iPad stand. I much prefer the Amazon unit. Although the metal is the same thickness, the smaller Amazon stand feels more solid. This is undoubtedly a result of the Amazon stand not elevating the heavier iPad off the table. I also find it easier to use my iPad on the Amazon stand - the height is exactly right for me.

Fits my Asus ZenPad Z10, even when I have a hardshell case on the tablet. Doesn't sit all the way down in the cradle, but it fits closely enough without falling over. Now I can have it standing upright and read recipes better in the kitchen when cooking. Easy to use the power buttons on the bottom. Easy to adjust even with arthritic hands. Small, compact, not big and clunky. Sturdy, not a piece of cheap plastic. Sits nicely on the dresser or the kitchen counter without sliding.

I love this little stand! It did take me a while to figure it out. I guess its too easy and I'm not mechanically reclined lol. This would be great to travel with. It holds my phone very well and my ipad. The only small complaint is that you can charge your iphone while it is on this because you can't plug it in. I bought another one where the plug in part is open so you can charge but then that one is bigger and I do like this small one. Seems made of very good material.
