Excellent so far...

Very happy with purchase! I was a bit concerned that it will leak, not being the traditional screw on type. However, it works like a charm. You don't need to find the exact size bottle for this to work.

Easy to use

I bought these for my plants because i got tired of trying to figure out how much water they needed. I set up these simple houseplant self watering spikes according to the instructions, and left my beautiful plants alone for full one week. All plants were doing great when I returned, much better than the ones I tried before.

I've continued to use them all summer and they have helped out so much. I usually lose the plants when we have a busy week and I forget to water. so only centimetre of the spike itself is visible. I will definitely to get more when I repot other plants.

We have two plants in our house that unfortunately we usually forget to water them. I just came across a self Irrigation Watering system blog and I realized it was a good idea to test it. I looked for it on Amazon and found this product which was cheap and includes 6 pieces and working with a bottle of water. It helps the plants have water for a week and even more without being worried about watering them. I am happy with them.

Great gadget for the price!

These watering spikes are a good idea to help get over the issue of keeping plants watered when you're away on holiday. Simply fill an empty soft drinks bottle with water, attach to the spike and push it into the soil/compost in the pot. After several minor adjustments, the amount of water dripping into the soil is sufficient to sustain the plant for several days. Now, I can run away from home without worrying that my plants will die. I would recommend these to anyone that worries about their plants when away.

These are so useful!! Very easy to set up and are perfect for people like me who go out of town a lot but have indoor plants. My plants are very happy and so am I :)
