Top quality, top recommendation!

There's no reason to buy more money for a name brand because all you're paying for is the name. This grater is stainless steel, made in the US, comes with a plastic protective case and is professional level quality. All graters are sharp, as they should be, and this one is no exception. You want it sharp to do the job effectively. I've used it to grate citrus, nutmeg, hard cheese and more. I will be purchasing these for Christmas gifts, wedding gifts, and friendship gifts from now on, and it will be this brand from this company! I do not work for this company, but I should because I could sell tons of these from how excited I am about the craftsmanship of this product! It looks just like the zesters used on the Food Channel by all the top chefs, it is full size and hand-comfortable!

Works Great!

I just grated 1/3 lb. of Parmesano-Reggiano cheese with the grater and am very happy with the results. I ordered the item to use for small amounts of grating at the table and planned to use my OXO box grater for bigger jobs. It's equally as fast working as the box grater and is very well-balanced. I'm happy.

Love this zester

Just FYIU, when you zest your fruit or vegetable spoils quick. But the zester is top notch, I just put it in the dishwasher and then let it dry completely before placing it with my kitchen tools

Great tool and even better price!

Used this within 24 hours to zest lemons for wonderful lemon cookies for Easter. It worked great and was easy to clean in the dishwasher! Loved the ease of use, felt sturdy and am very appreciative of the guard. Realized how easily my fingernails can get in the way so I need to remember to be more careful.

Great value

I had a fancy zester for years that seemed well designed, but the design features were also kind of a flaw! This zester is a simple design and easy to use. IT IS VERY SHARP! Great for ease of use, not as great for the occasional moment when I'm not paying attention and zest my knuckle. It's mostly me because my husband and daughter have no problem with this! It is an excellent value and well constructed. I love lemon and lime zest. I haven't used it for ginger yet, but I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Anyone who is still using a box grater for citrus zest really owes it to themselves to try a 'rasp grater' like this. If you use it upside down, it is easy to see when you have planed all the zest and are down to the bitter white part pith, and the zester will hold the zest for when you need to measure it.

Super great zester

Super great zester! I'm in love with this! I've wanted a zester for quite some time now and I got this one in my Xmas stocking. It works great! Comes with a plastic guard , the handle is perfect with a good grip. Deep blades like a mini cheese grater, with you could use a parm block on it for salad or topping. It's perfect.

I didn't know something so wonderful existed until a few weeks ago. I am now able to zest in mere seconds compared to the long minutes from my previous zesters. It is very easy to wash. I'll be baking a lot more "goodness" with this.

Excellent Zester!

Very impressed! This zester is the best. Delivery was very prompt as expected. I've been on this lemon water kick lately, but then I read how the zest has great benefits too. I've begun using this nifty zester to add organic lemon zest to my water, which gives the extra benefit of reducing inflammation and cleansing the body of impurities we add into our diet when we eat outside organic. The blade is very sharp, it works excellent! Watch out for your fingers, do not slip! The plastic blade cover is awesome. Keeps it from dulling if it contacts other objects in the drawer. Well worth it and beneficial! I haven't used it for cheese, but I cant see why it wont great there as well. Thanks!

It works very well

I have had other graters, including handheld, and the big box graters, and NONE of them work as well or clean as easily as this one does. I had one the broke off of the handle while I was using it, also one that I had to scrub with a brush to get the zest out of, plus it didn't drop enough zest for the project I was working on. I don't have any of those complaints about this product. I really like it.
