This is the best way to hold a turkey or roast while slicing it. Nothing compares. There are plastic ones out there that probably do as well... for a while. For about the same price, you gotta have metal claws with wood handles. Aaarrrh rouugghh rouugghh rouugghh!

These were a gift for my son who has, now, used them and they are the best "claws" available. They are heavy metal with comfortable/substantial wood handles. Word of caution: the metal claws are VERY SHARP!! I would highly recommend these for anyone wanting to easily shred any type of meat.

Finally -- someone has invented a quality stainless steel meat lifter / shredder with long handles, so your hands won't get burnt while using them! The claws are heavy and very high quality. You won't regret this purchase. (P.S.: Because of the wood handles, I would not put the claws in the dishwasher.)

Exactly what you need for shredded meats

Bought these specifically for pulled pork. They work like a champ! Was exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy build quality and the little knives on the end are just sharp enough to tear through the meat.

These are the real deal. Solid steel and easy to use and clean. I bought these for my husband for Christmas for his Egg when he smokes meat. So durable and worth the money.

Does a great job for shredding

Does a great job for shredding, also lifting a hot brisket, ribs, etc. to platter. Heavy duty, I clean these by hand because of the wood handle, they have stayed very nice, and clean easy.

I also felt the claws were better spaced than some of the other ones I have ...

I gave these as a gift so I didn't use them but they looked and felt substantial as opposed to others that are light and plastic. It was a highly appreciated gift for a person who is fussy about barbecue tools. I also felt the claws were better spaced than some of the other ones I have seen. I would buy these again.

Bears have it right - modern claws for humans!

I have a set of these, and recently purchased one for a friend. They are AMAZING! If you've ever tried to shred chicken or beef with forks, you need to try these. You will wonder how you EVER did it with those primitive tools before!

Sharp, easy to hold, a must for pulled pork bbq!

These are perfect for pulling pork, or if you find yourself in a wolverine fight. These things are sharp! Very well-made, heavy and the perfect tool for a big barbecue. What normally takes 7-10 minutes with forks, took less than 2 with these! After washing with soup I used the oil I used for my cutting board to make sure they don’t split. A great purchase!
