The item was packaged securely (important as it is a glass item). Arrived quickly (used Amazon Prime). Easy to install (once I figured out how to take my lamp apart). Extremely happy with the results. My lamp is as good as new!

Worked Great

The glass shade was perfect. My lamp was designed to make it super hard to loosen the fittings that hold the shade in. When I finally got them removed the glass shade fit perfectly.

Great product and splendid customer service

The shade itself has a nice warm tone that is identical to the original being replaced. The affordable price is a sufficient reason to purchase it, but the customer service at Newrays is a breath of fresh air. I know this because I had a problem that was instantly resolved and without my even asking. Newrays emailed to ask about the purchase, and I mentioned the issue. Newrays then took the initiative. As I said in the tagline — splendid customer service. In regard to installation, remove the threaded tube on the non-socket (i.e., the one without wires) shade arm. That will eliminate the need to force the shade into place and lessen the likelihood of damaging it. The glass is not terribly fragile, but it is delicate enough to require care in handling.

Fit my 15-20 year old bankers lamp and glass thickness was just right.

The color and glass thickness were just what I needed for my old bankers lamp. The lamp had sentimental value so I was happy it fit. Installation was a challenge as I expected but it fit well once installed and adjusted. If you aren't somewhat mechanically inclined it can be a difficult install. Par for the course with these type lamps.

Not easy to replace, but worth it

The lamp shade is the perfect replacement (and I'm glad it's well made). Didn't realize I would have to disassemble the light fixture and kind of bully the shade into place. If you've never done it before, find an instructional video on the internet. However, that being said, the lamp looks great- like the day I bought it.

Glass shade arrived in GREAT CONDITION!

This glass shade for my bankers lamp was in perfect condition, VERY WELL PACKED, and it fit perfectly! You have to disconnect the 2 wires going to the lamp socket in order for you to install this shade on your lamp! This was not a problem for me!

The size and color of the glass shade are an exact match for broken shade I am replacing.

To fit the shade onto the lamp one must be confident about taking the wires out of the fixture and basically taking the mechanism apart before the shade can fit onto the lamp. Once I did that it fit perfectly and looks like brand new. I would be happy to affix a picture but don't know how to get it from my cell phone camera to this page.

Just Like Original, Fits Perfectly and Looks Great!

I had broken the original shade on my Bankers Lamp when moving homes. The Newrays replacement was a much better price than a lot of others I looked at and it seemed to be the correct color and appearance, so I decided to take the chance. I had taken measurements of the original beforehand and the measurements listed for the Newrays shade seemed to match up within a margin of error. I just received the replacement shade tonight and swapped it out for the broken one on my lamp in only about 20 minutes. It fit PERFECTLY and it is exactly the same color as the original, as well as the same appearance, texture, sheen, etc...I am THRILLED to have spent a little over $16 and have my lamp back up and working without having to spend $50-60 to buy a new Bankers lamp, since the rest of the lamp works just fine. I have seen some "complaints" in reviews of other brands of these type shades about the glass of them being too thin. This Newrays shade is exactly the same thickness as the shade which came with my lamp when I bought it. The simple fact is, the glass is relatively thin (hence the fact that I broke the original shade in the first place!), but it can only be SO thick because the mounting hardware, such as the threaded "nipple" which inserts through the shade has to be able to remain long enough to accommodate the switch section and bulb holder. I am extremely pleased with the thickness of the shade and I believe it will hold up just fine under normal use. I have included the broken shade in these photos to show how mine was broken. I recommend this shade without hesitation!

Made the lamp like new

The first one I ordered broke when I tweaked it during installation—my fault. The second one seemed more substantial (or I was just more careful) and it went on without a hitch. Really brought by lamp back to life.
