Yes, it really is that good!

I'm usually disappointed by solar powered lights, but based one the reviews, I ordered it anyway. It really is a five-star product! It's bright, really bright, and the dark numbers really stand out at night. The housing is also a nice bright white so the numbers stand out even in the day time. Installation is just twisting the cap off the back, inserting the batteries, and replace the cap. Push the stake into the ground, add the pole, the top it off with the address sign. There's room for 5 numbers, and you get three of each number 0 to 9. I spent more time making sure the numbers were "just right" than I did for the rest of the installation.

Amazing! We ended up sticking it in a planter rather than the ground. It works as advertised. We positioned it in an area where it gets full day of sun. It lights up the entire night.

UPDATE: on day two, I moved the post closer to the house. That night, nothing illuminated. What I found was, the light over the garage was too bright so it didn't think it was dark enough. When I moved the post, it came on immediately. This thing is smart! :-). If you find yours isn't working, make sure it's not placed near a porch light or outdoor garage light. -------------- This is fantastic! So pleasantly surprised at how well-made this is. The frame can hold 4-5 numbers easily (we have 4). I didn't have a measuring tape but the 3 quarters by the #2 in the picture shows its size. Definitely one of my favorite purchases!

Solar Lighted Address Plaque sign.

This Solar Lighted Address Plaque is something that I have been searching for for a long time. Delivery was quick. Even before the sign arrived I received an email from the company with instructions on how to assemble and mount. Assembly was very easy. My wife attached the numbers to the plate. I installed the rechargeable batteries and it lit up. Yesterday, (Friday) morning I placed the included pole in the desired spot, mounted the sign and finally had my house number in my front yard. Last night it lit up. I could read the number from some distance. I will offer future updates on durability. We are going into cooler weather here in Florida. I want to see how long the numbers remain attached. How long the light lasts. How long the solar panel keeps working. If the material will remain as is or will crack and warp under the relentless Florida sun. At this point I am very pleased. Note: this was not a sample for a review. I purchased this sign.

This solved my problem.

Because my house sits at the back of the lot, it is impossible to see my house "number" from the street. I have been looking for a way to ensure that, should an emergency occur and I require some type of assistance, my house would be easily identified. (not to mention parcel, pizza and paper delivery) deliveries. I found this sign and it's GREAT!! I can place it an any area that can been seen from the street and the "light" is surprisingly bright.I would certainly but again and can highly recommend to anyone looking for a easy way to display their house number.

Good lit marker. Stands tall and is very visible.

I have only had this for a short while, about a month I would say. However, it is good for the price. It can be seen very well. Our biggest challenge has been this year that my planted vines have blossomed all over our mailbox so our numbers can no longer be seen. This poses a problem because we receive daily deliveries for a business we have. I mainly needed something that delivery people could actually see upon approaching our driveway and this does the trick. It's tall so it's seen easier. I did purchase a different unit that we do like but it's very close to the ground and most delivery people I have ask if they saw it say they never noticed but were just counting down the addresses and hoped they were at the right location. Since most people come from one particular direction I use this one facing that direction and we use the short one on the other side, as folks are rarely trying to find us from that direction unless they passed us the first time. I have never had a lighted unit so that has been a nice perk as well. It is good and visible at night. Hopefully we will not have a need for an emergency vehicle try and find us but if we did this would work well.

A fantastic find! LOVE IT!!!

Our house number is a bit hard to see from the street due to a tree and people were always passing it and needing to turn around. I wanted something that made it easy for anyone coming to find but also looked nice. This is awesome!! Not only is it easy to see, it looks great. During the day it is another number sign but at night, it lights up so well and offers a great glow to our flower bed. The sign is under a tree so it gets a lot of morning sun but about noon, it is shaded the rest of the day - even with that limited sun exposure, it stays lit almost all night. The numbers it comes with are perfect - I thought I would dress it up by using my cricut to make fancy looking numbers but realized that the number that come with it are really smarter - they are easy to read, large enough to see from a good distance, and look good. If my address was more than 5 numbers, I would have had to find or make smaller numbers but 5 fit perfectly. Since the pole is plastic, I was a bit worried how it would hold up in wind and weather. My hubs put a metal stake in the ground and then slide this on top if it, pushing it down into the dirt. So far it has held up during the winds and rain of Hurricane Harvey and some other intense wind storms we get in the hill country so I am pleased. The plastic is quite thick so I think it will not wear for a while - I would recommend doing the metal stake into the ground though for added stability if you get wind. Just seems like a safe back up.

Extremely bright address sign! Update: over time solar cell has reduced in effectiveness

This sign is unbelievably bright. I never expected such a well lit sign from only 2 AAA batteries. I don't understand the complaints from people about the plastic stake. I have many solar lawn light and they all come with the somewhat flimsy plastic stakes. If the soil is soft, it will easily go in the ground without breaking. Besides, the instructions plainly state to pre-dig the hole for the stake. As far as durability goes, I'll just have to see how it holds up over time, as I've only had it two days. I also like that the batteries are easily accessible via a compartment with a knob you turn to open. Tip: On address signs that use standard batteries, I always charge them on a battery charger before putting the sign into service, thus allowing the sign to work at full brightness on the first night of use. Update: after 8 months, the solar cell no longer will charge to last all night. Sell non responsive now. At first, the were good. Don't know what happened to them.

The product was extremely easy to install. The instructions were clear and concise. I love the product but what I love the most is the effort, customer service and the communication the vendor has with the customer. It feels that you are purchasing this item from a family or friend. Excellent follow up. I will definitely buy again from this vendor.

I wasn't a believer but now I am!!!!!

Please Amazon, let me give this 10 stars!! I am 71 and worry about whether or not an emergency vehicle can find me if it's late at night because it's so difficult to see my address. I've had delivery personnel bawl me out for not having a clearly defined address so I decided to finally look for something that might work. I saw this and almost by-passed it because of the cost. Geez, it CAN'T be worth that much, but as I read the reviews I knew it would work for me.....if it worked. I planted it in the ground near the front of my property. It's December 22nd and it's been cloudy, grey and rainy all day. I planted it at approximately 4 pm, thinking at least it's in the ground, but because it now gets dark shortly after 5pm I didn't expect anything, and that would be OK for the one + hour it has been up. At approximately 5:30 pm I looked out and thought I saw a light shinning near the address post, .... can't be, no way, not after just over an hour out in the grey rainy day...no way no how! So I donned my shoes and walked out and seriously couldn't believe my eyes. It's as if the white portion of the stake has a 40 + watt bulb in it. It is seriously lit up and you can see my address now, so very plain! I wasn't a believer, but now I am!!!!!
