Great product! Great deal! Searching for this type product at my local Home Depot proved to be pricey and not exactly what I needed. So glad to find this 2 pack and it's exactly what we needed!!! My only complaint is that it's a white cord that we wanted to blend in the best with white ceiling and light walls but the cord hangers are black and stand out against the wall, ceiling and white lantern that we hung on the cord.

Nice quality

Nice quality - Also the hook system included is practical to use to hold a larger than normal Led bulb. The switch is simple and solid construction. I recommend but will update my review if I experience any issues. The date of my review is 11/26/18

Simple, long cord, good condition

I purchased these for a project I was working on but it didn't work out the way I hoped. So I decided to add a bit of extra lighting in my kids rooms. They work, they're simple. Switch is easy for one of my kids to use, the 6 year old had a little issues. Like how long the cord is, gave me more options of where to put it. If purchasing for someone with weak hands/ arthritis/ etc, this might not be the ideal product, might want to look for something with a button switch. Can't complain!

Inexpensive way to add lights without hiring an electrician.

Convenient way to add a lighting fixture without hiring an electrician. This socket and cord set is the easiest and the cheapest way to add a light fixture without having to hire an electrician. This socket-cord set will allow you to add any light bulb that uses a standard socket. You can add a traditional socket incandescent light bulb or you can use the newer energy efficient LED bulbs. The set comes with wall hooks for easy attachment to walls and ceilings. I use mine to hold a Swiftrans LED grow light. The set up is used to light a small orange tree in my shaded patio. The patio received indirect sunlight and the citrus tree needed more light in order to bloom. The addition of the 24 watt grow light has been effective. The tree has been blooming. It takes two weeks to see the results. The cord is soft and easy to handle. The small on/off switch at the end is easy to use. This is a good way to add light without the need to hire an electrician to install light sockets. Do keep in mind that this product is not rated for outdoor use. It will be fine under a sheltered patio but do not put it where the on/off switch will get wet. Lastly, do not use this unit for infrared heat lamps. Use a product with a ceramic socket for those infrared heat lamps used in reptile tanks. Highly recommended.

Perfect for my light!

I had bought a beautiful hanging snowflake light in Germany and it never dawned on me that the plug and light socket would not work in the US. I tried finding a substitute locally to no avail. This cord and socket were perfect! The cord is sturdy and attached well to the light socket.The length is perfect for my needs and there was a choice of models which had the on/off switch either near the plug or near the light. Well thought out design and top quality.

Exactly what I needed

My room is fairly large with not enough lighting. I just needed something to put in front of my mirror for some good lighting. It came with everything needed to hang it up. The difference is phenomenal. I will probably get more just because:)

Perfect for my storage area

This is exactly what I was looking for. I made sure to order the one with the switch near the outlet. I have the bulb strung over a rafter in the storage area of the garage at my condo, about six feet up. Nothing pretty, just a good bright light. Though I could see how fun it might be to get or make a shade to put over the bulb! There was a too-bright, imo, 100 watt bulb in another fixture in the condo when I moved in so I switched it out and am using it in the garage. (Too bright for daily use but for dealing with my storage area a couple times a week, just right.)

I absolutely love this product the cord is long enough it comes with on and off switch he even showed a video before I bought it so I knew what it was going to be getting' wish more people would do videos like he does, I absolutely love it it's like hanging a light anywhere in your house where you need a light and he's giving you a great deal on two of them can't pass this up' my ceiling fan works but unfortunately the light does not I hung this up up there and it's just like having a light in the middle of the living room it's very bright
