Quick and convenient.
This kit worked great to replace a Casio watch battery. It has a screw on back. I adjusted the yellow block to fit, tightened it on, then adjusted the blue metal tool prong spacing, lined them up, then pushed in and turned counterclockwise to open the back. Now new battery, all set. Thank you.

Too Easy
I had an immediate need to swap out the battery on a Casio 2328 Dive Chrono. This particular timepiece has a large face, so the watch back is large as well. I had a 3 point jaxa case wrench, but it just wasn't large enough to do the job. The Vastar Watch Adjustable Opener Back Case Press Closer Remover Repair Watchmaker Tool and Watch Case Back Opener Repair Remover Holder Tool seems to be the perfect solution for my needs. Using it, I was able to replace the battery for the watch within a couple of minutes. I'm glad I purchased this tool.

Awesome Tool
This worked very well for my retro Pulsar woman's watch back, the one that has the multiple notches, waterproof... love this tool. Little vice helped a lot, but wobbly. If you're a pro, it is less than, if you're me, it's just what I needed. Was careful not to slip and cause scratch. My watch is about 1 inch, I think. but the tool goes out much wider than that. Pretty cool money saver.

Man, I only wish I had bought one of these years ago...
My wife and I have been having our watch batteries replaced at the local big-box store that begins with the letter "W". The last couple of times, the batteries didn't even last 4 months. Turns out they were putting old batteries in our watches. Decided to take matters into our own hands and bought this little Vastar watch-back opener and a pack of new Energizer watch batteries. Bingo! Already replaced the batteries in 3 of our watches. This tool is super easy to use and makes quick work of battery replacement. Worked so well that I bought two more to give as gifts.

It works!
It works! I'm tired of paying someone else to replace my batteries because I'm lazy! This little device works great! ***IMPORTANT NOTE*** You have to have a shred of intelligence when using this device. You're not removing a lug nut off a car wheel! It takes a little finesse and thought to get the proper results from this device. Like with all things, there's a certain amount of "respect" you have to have for this tool, and the watch you're working on. I've been able to get the back off of every watch I've tried it on (5 different Fossils) with great success, and without scratching the watch, or hurting myself.

It worked! Don't be fooled by the bad reviews...
I dropped my little Seiko SNK807 on a hardwood floor and the second hand popped off. Bummer! I decided that for the price it would be worth it to give these tools a try and see if I could open the watch and fix it myself. I wasn't expecting much but they worked great and I was able to do the repair on my own. My watch is as good as new. True, you can tell that these are not high-quality Swiss-made tools, but they were definitely up to the task. I was hesitant when I saw the number of bad reviews, but many of them seem to be from folks who didn't understand these were meant for opening screw-down case backs. If you own a very expensive watch, I think you'd be a little crazy to try to do your own servicing with these tools--I'd go to a professional instead. But, for a watch like my Seiko this was perfect. And it's nice to know that when it comes time to change the battery in my quartz watch with a screw-down case back (also a Seiko!), the cost of a new battery and these tools is less than what my local jeweler would charge to put in a new battery. As far as I am concerned they have already paid for themselves.

It works!
I ordered this and a new battery for my old Luminox Navy Seals watch that I wanted to give to my grandson. My local jewelers won't change the battery, and Luminox service is $95.00. So, I had nothing to loose. It works great, the watch back was off, battery changed and back replaced in less than three minutes, saving me a bundle. One HAPPY grandson.

Excellent tool for do it yourself battery removal
I used this to remove the battery on the back of my Casio and it worked perfectly. I used to use some needle nose pliers before but it wouldn't tighten all the way making the watch susceptible to water damage. This will allow you to tighten it perfectly. My son used it to change the battery on his $1,200 Hamilton. Great tool. I recommend.

Works perfectly
I bought this to change a battery in a Swiss Army, which is not a cheap watch, and this tool opened it perfectly, easily and I didn’t need instructions. I’m not sure what the other reviewers have an issue with.

Simply works...
Some time a long while back I purchased a watch repair kit to use on my Casio watches. However, the tool for removing the back plate didn't expand far enough to do the job. This simply works and has room to spare for watches of even greater diameter. Gets an A+ rating from me.
