Perfect addition to meals

I got this for my child that is on medication that has effected her appetite and in turn has caused her to lose weight. She needed a supplemental source of nutrition to keep weight on and keep from losing more. She loves this drink. She will sometimes drink it in the am before school with her breakfast, but if not she always has one after school as part of her snack. Personally we like them room temperature vs being cold.

Carnation Breakfast Essentials High Protein Ready-to-Drink

Although I have never tasted these, I am a caregiver to an elderly person who drinks these cold all the time in French Vanilla and sometimes Chocolate. This person has tried other protein drinks and prefers this one . They are also lower in calories. Because of the lack of availability locally, I order these from Amazon with a subscription to get them on a regular basis without worries. I suggest these for people looking for protein drinks and will buy again.

High Protein Rich Chocolate My daughter & I are lactose intolerant. She moreso than me. (Lactaid tablets don't help her; she can only use Lactaid brand lactose free milk. Off brand lactose free milk doesn't agree with her.) I'm telling you this because neither of us experience any problems when we drink one of these a day. I have problems if I drink more than one a day. These have a thicker consistency...not thick like a milkshake, but thicker than milk. We like the chocolate flavor even though the flavor is a bit different. I only buy the High Protein version which contains 15 grams of protein & 28 grams total carbs I know these are designed as a breakfast drink, but I typically reach for one if I know I'll be missing a meal. The other day a family member was taken to ER at meal time so I grabbed a couple of these to share because we missed our evening meal. Gluten Free Suitable for those with Lactose Intolerance

Smooth rich flavor.

These are great breakfast drinks. They taste good and have a smooth flavor. Just remember to shake well before opening. They keep me from getting hungry till just a little before lunch so they work pretty well considering I'm usually always hungry lol.

My girls love it

If you are looking for something to get into your stomach in the morning, because you normally never eat anyways, I would start here. Loaded with vitamins, protein and fiber, its a great way to get something into your stomach or add to what you are already eating. I use this mainly for my daughter who barely eats because she is so picky or just doesn't feel like getting something to eat. She will drink 10 of these a day if I let her. I let her have it for a breakfast add and a afternoon snack. My wife also likes them for breakfast because she normally skips altogether.

Great Product - Choc Milk!

I love this nutrition shake. It tastes like chocolate milk to me, and it's not too thick texture-wise. I had run out of chocolate boost and was trying to slurp down the strawberry one, which is like drinking super thick and chalky milk (not appealing). So I ordered this to give it a try, and I love it. I'm seven months pregnant, so this stuff helps me stay on top of my health and get around my nausea safely.

Cheaper than buying pediasure for my little guy who needs to gain weight. Also has more protein than pediasure so it’s a win win for us.

nutrition without having to do dishes

I send this to my mother who is aging and lives in a rural area where grocery stores are too far for her to get to regularly. I can at least know she is getting nutrition and not having to do so many dishes. She likes this vanilla flavor better than the chocolate and really feels better after drinking these. She needs and appreciates the energy boost and the protein.
