Actually a decent meal at 200 calories. Stir it up after you heat it and the taste is fine...

Contrary to some of the other reviews, this is probably my favorite of the Hormel variety. It has fewer calories (200) so that's a bonus if you're watching your weight. I've tried several of the others but this is the one I buy most often. It should be noted that after you heat it up, you do need to stir it up to blend the gravy with the potatoes to a consistency that tastes better, imho. With a little salt/pepper it makes a meal that is just enough to help you watch your calorie intake without going overboard. I will continue to purchase it....

I love this

I love this I ordered the mashed potatoes and gravy with chicken I got two to try it out just ate it for the first time I was a bit of a sceptic about this but then I tried it the thought I should rate it but it had a low rating ? The I looked at the first bad comment and of course it's a "foody" don't know the exact meaning but they tend to be picky well if you ask me they sounded like they expected it to taste like a 5 star dinner at a 5 star restaurant and shuns all tv dinners But in my opinion for the price and convenience of storing it and not having to leave my apartment and how fast it cooks I give it a 5 stars For mine I just added a little butter after heating it up and if you think it's to small just prepare some noodles to go with it I didn't but I did think it would go well with noodles plan on trying it overall I love this and will be ordering more

taste great for a non refrigerated product

My family and I have really come to love these things, especially when we go on camping trips. Although you have to be careful to not puncture the plastic cover. Although the cardboard cover helps and if you pack them top to top the plastic bowl is much tougher. I would definitely recommend these however due to the price fluctuations, you may have to wait a few days to get the best deal possible.
