Great quality for a great price!
I love this camera. I bought this to keep an eye on my mini pig while at work and I love that I can see clearly and speak to him through the mic!

Excelente

Great camera for international use
Had the camera about a year now to watch are vacation house in mexico. A month ago someone broke in and while we were here asleep in the US I got a notification ring that there was movement detected in livingroom. So I looked at my live feed and there was a guy in my house walking around putting things in a bag. So I called the mexican police to notify them of break in. So while they got there I just watched him which sucked.....but as soon as police showed up I used microphone to talk to him and tell him I was watching him and cops were outside. Have a.nice day.

Excellent picture quality. BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!
I have installed hundreds of cameras as part of security systems, and home automation. I bought this set on 9-17-17, and installed them on 9-18-17. The set up was very easy with the Zmodo app. The picture quality is better than a lot of cameras that cost 5 x's the price of this set. Another huge plus is the two way audio. These cameras would work great for home security, baby monitor, day cares, etc. The motion detection is great as well. It picks up movement from 25-30 ft. away or more. Even if these cameras went out in 2 years they have a 3 year warranty. Honestly for the price I'm not sure these can be beat. The only possible negative is that there is not a dvr, but zmodo offers cloud service that can store video up to 30 days. I'll add to this review once I see the night vision, but so far I love these cameras.

Cheaper up front, more expensive monthly
These are a great alternative to the Arlo systems for several reasons: 1) The upfront cost of the equipment is low. 2) No hub is required. Each camera connects to the WiFi and communicates with the cloud independently. 3) Video and 2-way sound quality is par for the course. However, the Arlo system has the upper hand when it comes to the extended cloud storage feature. The Zmodo cloud works great, but is far more expensive than Arlo because you are paying per camera, where Arlo includes a certain quantity of cameras in each cloud package.

Affordable and functional
I am basing my review for the overall value of what you get for this purchase. The fact that I was able to install a basic 4-camera home security system for well under $100 is pretty amazing. These cameras have some pretty neat features as well, such as two-way communication and an Android/iPhone app for browsing each camera individually in once convenient place. The speaker isn't the loudest, but if you speak really loud and clear through your phone's microphone, the voice through the speakers can be heard clearly. Having a back-and-forth conversation doesn't work perfectly, since the microphone on the Android/iPhone app is push-to-talk, similar to an old fashioned walkie-talkie. I have found the speaker on the camera useful for situations where my kids aren't near their phones when I'm trying to call. The Android/iPhone/web browser app is really neat also. You can organize each camera at your house and give each camera a name for the room that it is located in. You can then configure "motion alerts" on the app to send a push notification to your phone whenever the camera detects movement at specific times of the day. I didn't subscribe to any of the recording subscription services, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that these cameras will provide recordings from the last 24 hours. The recordings aren't real video recordings, however. They are basically just 5-frame snapshots that automatically record when motion is detected. If you look at the "Motion" section of the phone app, you will see time stamps with a thumbnail of what was recorded. From there you will see the 5 pictures taken per motion alert. I am not sure if the subscription records actual video or not, but I am currently finding the motion alert pictures to be "good enough", especially since the 24 hour service is free. Are there better security cameras and services out there? Most definitely, but many of the other cameras and services can cost several times as much for one camera than buying this 4-pack. I normally would say "you get what you pay for", but this feels like the perfect balance between affordability and functionality. If you are looking for something extremely fancy you might want to look elsewhere, but if you are looking something that gets the basic job done for a very fair price, this is a great entry-level setup.

Good cams at a great price for general monitoring
Having just received and configured 4 of these cameras today, this is only an initial review. Next-day Prime shipping almost came off without a hitch. Because I wanted these cameras completely up & running today, I was watching the porch like a hawk all day. In the early afternoon, with no packages on the porch, I decided to check the order for delivery updates. Much to my surprise, the order showed completed with a grainy low res picture that looked vaguely familiar, but wasn’t my house. Turns out, the driver left them next door. After retrieving them, the easy part began. Unboxing and physical set up were both a breeze. Packaging was iPhone like in its simplicity and set up guide was clear & easy to understand. Configuring 3 of the 4 cameras was equally easy following the directions and was done in minutes. The 4th, was a little tougher. After the mobile app failed to pick up #4, I tried to add it individually. Because the app was already familiar with my network at this point, it pre-filled the network ID & password. After multiple failed attempts, rebooting a few times, and even giving the pin-hole factory reset button a few clicks, I finally had to call for support. Alex from the help desk informed me that the app likes to garble passwords when pre-filling them, so after manually keying in the network credentials one last time, #4 was in business. From there, opting in/out of cloud service, naming the cameras and configuring their settings was simple. Everything was very intuitive. No guessing. Here’s the good, the bad and the ugly regarding the cameras & camera related settings themselves: The good: - better than anticipated daytime picture quality - zoom capabilities in live viewing mode - two-way audio is crisp & clear - time stamp is always present, live or recorded - multiple pre-formatted settings for when you’re home, away, sleeping, etc. All were easy to customize. - Customizing individual camera functions like setting motion detection area and camera orientation were easy. Simply view live, click the gear icon for settings during a live feed and configure away. The bad: - included mounting brackets are too light to be used as stands and require weighting or anchoring with tape. Appear sturdy enough to hold the weight of the camera when used for wall mounting, but that’s not the application I needed. Not a huge issue. A small strip of Gorilla tape did the trick. - motion detection seems spotty. I’ll provide more information about this when I update this review after a few months of use. - night vision image seems less than stellar. A single IR bulb provides lackluster IR illumination for an otherwise good camera. Using a ring of IR bulbs surrounding the lense would probably resolve this, but would probably drive the cost up accordingly. - if perched on a flat surface visible to the lense in low light conditions, the blue connection status light creates a reflection that degrades the image quality. BTW...that little blue status light that indicates you’re connected to your network never dims or turns off, making these cameras anytibut discrete. The ugly: - aside from the delivery person taking the package to the wrong house, which isn’t the fault of the cameras or the seller, I can’t really categorize anything as ugly initially. Overall, these are great little cameras at a great price point. They’re not 007 quality spy cams, but they not supposed to be. As long as you manually enter your network credentials, connection is easy. The mobyapp makes customization a piece of cake and the cloud service gives you solid recording & playback options to choose from. With all that said, I’m pretty happy with the purchase.

Well worth it
These cameras are a great deal. I have a dvr system set up at my house and installed these at my parents. The picture is better on these than my dvr system, but of course these aren't constantly recording. These are great to monotor though and seem to have a really good motion detection sensitivity. They don't have as wide camera angle as a samsung ip camera, but these are well worth what they cost. I will probably be buying the outdoor ones soon too.

Would recommend for basic indoor surveillance
I am very happy with this purchase. I needed a security system for an extended holiday vacation to keep an eye on my cats and pet sitter. The video quality is sufficient for this purpose. If you’re looking for video quality good enough to get a clear picture of a persons face with details you’re probably not going to be happy with it, but for the price I think the video quality is just fine. The two-way audio is pretty good as well. It did take a little while to set up (connect to WiFi) but the online FAQs from the website was helpful. If you have problems try turning off your cellular data when setting it up and make sure your cell is connected to your 2.4ghz WiFi (not the 5ghz if you have two frequency bands). Without the cloud subscription, you can view live but it won’t record unless there’s motion detected. When motion is detected, it’ll send you a notification and you can view the clip but only for a short while, it only seems to save the clips for 12 hours or so. With the 30 day free trial of the cloud, it allows you to view the whole recording which is sufficient for the purpose I bought it for. Overall, I’m very happy and would recommend for basic indoor surveillance.

Great for the price!
So far I've had these set up for a few hours and they exceeded my expectations! I spent many days researching cameras because I wanted them to do certain things. These cameras have a 2 way audio, so I can hear what's going on in the house if anything, and I can talk to my dogs. The cameras have really great quality so the images are pretty clear. I can also access the cameras live when I'm not at home, which was a must for me. It was easy to set up all 4 cameras through the app and learn how to set your status to away, home, or sleep. It has a recording and picture option while viewing live also which is good if an intruder decides to come in. One con for me is when the camera is taking the motion pictures it makes clicking noises. I'm not sure if this is something that can be turned off. I just think if an intruder is in the house and hears this then it may alert them before I can get the police to the house.
