I have a toddler, so I wanted a sturdy stand for my turtle tank. I also wanted something that would look nice, since it is displayed in my living room. I couldn't be more pleased with this stand!! It is VERY sturdy and heavy, beautiful, and the instructions are easy to follow. I put it together myself and it took me about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I did make a few mistakes, but they were incredibly easy to fix. My toddler was immediately attracted to the cupboard on this stand. She thought it was fun to put things in it. Considering the fact that I intended to put the turtle food and supplies in this cupboard, I went out and got a nice child lock for it and it worked perfectly. I absolutely can't say enough good things about this stand! It is everything I wanted and more. The ONLY downfall this stand has, is that it is VERY easy to scratch. I made a couple of scratches on a shelf, and colored them in with a brown Sharpie...no big deal. When I put the tank on the top, it did scratch the top some, but again no big deal. For the amount I paid compared to the quality of this stand, I can deal with a few scratches. I rarely review products, but I just HAD to review this. Get it! You won't be disappointed.

It looks like wood, but it is some kind of MDF and HEAVY. but that's a good thing, you don't want a several hundred pound tank full of water on a tray table well unless you like wet rugs. Assembly is stupid simple, as long as you are adept at putting IKEA furniture together just make sure you have quality tools on hand, so don't try to do this with a multi-tool. Once assembled get help in moving it to its final location, if you did not already do the smart thing and assemble it in place because did I mention this thing is seriously heavy, I mean it's like the found a ready supply of the Higgs-Boson, and placed a metric ton of them in the wood when they made it. The doors do not quite line up perfectly, but then again what do you want for this price point, besides the fish doesn't seem to care so based on that alone I'm OK with it. Would I buy it again, sure If found nothing out there at this price point for a large tank with hidden storage, so yes.

My packet was missing two pieces of hardware but luckily I had a wooden dowel leftover from another piece of furniture, and plenty of extra screws. Overall this was exactly the size stand I wanted, and I think it's a great value. Currently I have a 10gallon ADA aquarium and a 3 gallon cube aquarium on top.

Holds my 20 gallon long

Mine had all the parts needed. The instructions are super clear and easy to follow (I've seen tons of instruction booklets for furniture out there, so many are awful.) The stand looks very nice and feels good and sturdy, it's a little bigger than the base of my 20 gallon long tank, giving it a good 2-3 inches on the side for clearance, which I like. Overall, very nice and one of the better looking stand out there at this size, especially for the price!

I bought this for my terrarium and it's perfect!

Using this for our 30 gallon freshwater tank. It fits perfectly and looks good. I also like that there is room for storing supplies and other items. Took me about 3 hours to put together, but that’s expected when it has to hold 300 pounds.

Easy to put together. Working well with a 38igallon tank - 30x31x15
