Hard to go wrong with a wall charger purchase

Works great, just as expected. The Kindle doesn't need to charge very often, but I use this all the time for my phone. Nice to have a charger in more than one room.

About the adapter.

I have been pleased with everything I have bought from Amazon. The quality is good & the price reasonable. Now the price of the adapter, I thought was a little over priced, but the quality of it was good. I'm waiting for something to come here at any time. A while back I went to a store near here for 3 batteries for my 3 cordless phones for here at home. Well, they wanted $63.60 for the 3. The young man whispered to me to go to Amazon so I did. I paid less then $10 for the batteries & I sure was a happy camper!!! I have shared this with many of my friends. I say "go to Aamzon"!!!

Charger has worked well for charging my Voyage. Comes as a separate purchase from the Voyage which I found. Think it should be bundled with the purchase price of the Kindle Voyage.

Product works fine, I’m just unsure of why Amazon suggests this specific one for use for a kindle.

I purchased this item for my Kindle Paperwhite, 10th edition. I’m not sure why Amazon suggests this exact piece for a kindle. I did use the “chat” option to get a better understanding, but the only thing I got out of it is it will help the battery life last longer. I have had two previous kindles and never knew about it and they worked just fine with out it. I can’t leave less than a five star rating because the product is not defective. The product works just fine, like every other type. To me the question lies with Amazon. I received this new kindle for a birthday/Christmas present back in December, so I figured I would try it out. The price is outrageous if you ask me. After reading the details on this exact one and the regular Amazon Basics one, I didn’t and still don’t see a difference, so I feel like it’s a scam. These are just my thoughts. I would be happy to hear more about it to better help me understand what makes this work better than other ones, especially for the kindle.

Name brand quality, spec item for my Kindle.

I am a stickler for quality and matched brands accessories. The charger (mated to the Kindle specs) works best. Experience has hard lessons when cheap knock off look alikes are used. Long term usage and high performance quality may cost a bit more up front - but if you have to buy 2 or 3 knock offs; even at a lesser cost for each; still cost more in the long term. This charger works as it is supposed to, and I am confident that it will last a long time. I have several Kindle types, & matched the chargers for each one. All are still working well even after 4 to 6 years of use.

This charger is needed if you want to charge your device quickly. If you have all day to wait, any old charger will work.

Not a cheap plug from the check out, this works for my phone and kindle without the nasty reminder that the cord or plug are not strong enough.

You probably already have two or three of these things.

It fine. I wasn't aware of what I was purchasing at the time but thought that I would need it in order to charge my book. Turns out I have several of them already from other electronics. Didn't really need it.
