Works really well. Made for larger tanks but worked well for my moderately sized, hexagon shaped tank as well. Having never owned anything like this before, I think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Was able to scrape the glass in just a few minutes without leaving anything behind, quite impressed and I'm real happy with it. As of note, if you have sand in your tank, remember that sand and glass are the same material (silica) and if you catch any sand grains with this IT WILL SCORE YOUR GLASS. Always make sure that both sides are clean and free of any debris before using it. I would totally avoid this on acrylic tanks as well.

I was hesitant at first to buy this cleaner because of the low price compared to the more expensive ones but after using this for the first time I have nothing but positve feedback. We have a 55 gallon tank that is deeper then most standard tanks and using a hand scrapper usually involved getting your elbows wet at some point. Our tank was getting scaly behind some hard to reach places and I was concerned this product would never have the resistance to clean it off. Boy was I wrong, it breezes through the thick black algae with one pass leaving our tank almost spotless. Took about 15 minutes to clean the whole tank top to bottom and was as easy as could be. Tank glass looks great. I really can't see a different more expensive model doing much better of a job to justify the cost difference. Excellent, easy to use, fast cleaner.

Be careful magnet is way too strong, it could break the glass if you try to place directly one in from the other. The right way is to place them, offset one from the other (On opposite sides of the glass), then slide towards each other. Mainly for removing stubborn algae, but not a daily cleaner. I am also buying the cheap one with the stick and sponge for regular maintenance

Works great and it’s nice and large. Makes short work of my 120 gallon tank. A powerful magnet keeps it firmly attached and even works well against diatoms (mostly). Having a large handle is great and let’s you really dig in and get the tough spots. Careful though, it’s a finger smashing master! Pinchiest scrubber I ever had. I recommend and would buy again.

Had an algae bloom ever since I upgraded to an LED aquarium light. Tried the UV algae water filter for $50 and it didn't help as much as I wanted. The Mag Float acrylic algae scrapers didn't have a strong enough magnet to get through the baked on algae on my acrylic tank's walls, so I decided to give this a try. Although the title states that is a Glass Aquarium cleaner, the included instructions state that it can be used for Glass or Acrylic aquariums. My acrylic tank was second hand with a few scratches already and water hides scratches pretty well. Opened the package and rinsed it off in water before dropping into my green algae tinted acrylic aquarium. The magnet in the tank floated away but the handle portion outside of the tank had a stronger traction beam jedi knight force which pulled it back towards the wall where it finally flipped over and stuck to its other half. I gently started to scrub with this algae cleaner in the recommended direction and to my surprise- my caked on algae started to come off (except at the corners and edges). It is a strong, large magnet- so don't put your fingers between it. I am a believer and did not see any new scratches on my acrylic tank (be sure not to get any gravel stuck or snail eggs stuck between the magnets while scrubbing the walls). Wish I found this sooner and saved me $50 on the UV filter that I bought. Now only if I could find a super strong magnet algae cleaner for the corners of the aquarium....

So I was pretty skeptical about this product...but we have a really deep tank and it is really hard to reach all the way to the bottom. We figured for the price, we'd give it a try...and we could not be any happier! This thing is great! If it becomes disconnected, the piece that goes on the tank floats. So no worries there. I only had to take a couple passes and the tank looks incredible! The handle did barely fit in between our tank and the wall, but that is no fault of the product...just something to think about if your tank is against a wall. Definitely recommend this!

I cannot even begin to describe how absolutely fabulous this aquarium algae scraper is and what an amazing job it did cleaning the glass in our fish tank! We have a 30 gallon and have tried many other products, but this magnetic cleaner, by Kedsum, far exceeded our expectations! Our aquarium sparkles!

I am finally going to win the algae war! This is one heavy duty cleaner and what I desperately needed for my 150 gallon aquarium. The glass on the aquarium is very thick and the walls are 24" tall, so scraping the algae off is extremely difficult for me and not kind to my back. I also hate having to use a ladder to do the scraping and constantly getting up and down to move the length of the aquarium. Also it is fun to use so I will be more diligent and not dread doing it. Will also not put it off until it is really bad. I do like to have a sparkling aquarium and this will definitely be the answer.

After years of using a scrubber wand to clean my Acrylic tank what a revelation for find a magnetic glass cleaner. I have seen some used in the past but they were tiny compared to the Kedsum cleaner. It is so easy to clean my 150 gallon in wall fish tank with the Kedsum cleaner. The magnet is very strong and it only takes a few passes to remove any algae that might start to grow on the glass. This cleaner doesn't scratch my acrylic tank walls at all. The tank side pad floats well and the handle is very comfortable. And the best part is it takes me less than 5 minutes to do the front and rear walls of my 150 gallon aquarium.
