Fits a fat man’s 21 inch calves!
I’m impressed, I have big swollen 21 inch around calves after 3 days at a cartoon mouse’s theme park. and these socks fit perfectly. I’m a big boy, and I’m 5’6” so these came up perfectly for me at about knee level. This would likely work somebody else under 6 feet tall if you wanted them above the calves entirely and below the knees. I loved how fast they got to my house too. I have prime so I used the 24 hour shipping as I needed them immediately after my trip. It took less than 12 hours to get from their warehouse to my door. I got 8 pairs. They aren’t super tight, they feel like a snug sock. I am glad because I want to take these on my trip to Europe and I need them to be both functional and comfortable. I am so glad these aren’t cutting into my leg’s circulation. I suppose once I get the swelling down I will get one with more pressure but for now these are just what my big swollen legs need.

Great socks put to the ultimate test!
So I'm sitting here at DIA airport in my cozy new compression socks! I love them! It's my 1st time flying in them so we shall see if it can keep the swelling down. I shattered my leg into 75 pieces and got a staph infection a year ago today and have undergone 12 surgeries to save the lower half of my leg. I have 13 screws, 2 plates, and a bone graphed heeling in my right leg so my foot and ankle generally swell up like a fat ladie kankles! Lol. These have been great so far working out and standing at my salon. Now for the flight test! Thanks guys! Great socks!!!

Comfortable, good compression, MACHINE WASHABLE.
Shortly after I hit the "Buy" button on these, I spotted a one-star review for this product that alleged the Blitzu compression socks were far superior and cheaper, so I went ahead and got a pair of those for comparison. That said, let me put the notion of "far superior and cheaper" to rest. First, at the time of purchase, the cheapest pair of Blitzu compression socks (white) was $9.97. The cheapest pair of these Physix compression socks (beige) was $9.95. Second, as the title of this review mentions, these are machine washable. Maybe I took that for granted, but the Blitzu ones weren't, though you wouldn't know it from looking at their product page (never ONCE do they mention it in their extremely detailed Amazon product description, but it's ALL OVER the packaging). This fact alone makes the Physix socks superior in my eyes. As for fit, I will admit that there is about an inch of material that goes past the bend in my knee. But I'm 5'0 and it's barely noticeable, so I have no idea how tiny the other reviewer was to be swimming in these. I was much more concerned about extra material on the toes, but it's a perfect fit for my 7.5 shoe-sized foot. The compression was about the same for both. No points in either direction. Overall, I'm much happier with these because they work just as well, they're a bit more comfortable, and you can throw them in the damn machine. Oh, and I saved two pennies.

Cute,Comfy,Effective, and Affordable!
So far I love these socks. I am 23wks pregnant and was looking for firm compression socks comfy enough for every day wear but effective enough for my international flights I have coming up. These socks have the perfect amount of firm compression, you definitely feel secured, but not so much that they are uncomfortable. The material of the sock is good quality and the design and color is as pictured. My previous compression socks were actually white hose rather than socks, so not very fashionable. These socks (and they are socks, not sleeves) are comfy, effective, and cute. They also are the perfect length, coming to my knees, though I am pretty sure they would stretch up a bit more if needed. I wear a size 9/10 shoe and have large calves, though my legs aren't very long. I bought the L/XL and they fit wonderfully. I plan to buy a couple more pair of these. Definitely a great buy for the price.

Prenatal Dream
Highly recommended. I am currently 8 months pregnant and wear these beauties every single day. I could only afford one pair on our budget, but I come home from work, take them off, wash them, and hang them to dry for the next day. I never knew how painful the swelling in my legs and feet could be until recently, and these socks were a complete game changer. I stand for over 9 hours a day at work, so I can't begin to explain how badly my legs and feet ached. I have a picture of what my feet looked like with(right) and without using the socks(left). The difference is tremendous!!

Edema Socks, worked perfectly and comfortable
I’m pleased. I’m a 45 year old man, 6’ 250 LBs. I have big calves naturally, the Amlodopine I took blew me up. I got these and they fit very well, they come all the way up as I wanted, to the Knee. They are very tight, but in a comfortable way. They take a little work getting on after a shower, make sure you get dry, ha. They do have a seam across the toe, if you are super sensitive to that, it may annoy you, it doesn’t bother me at all. I wear an 11.5 4E shoe, the front of my foot has always been super wide, and these fit with no issues. Out of Cedar Park, TX it’s a cold new year so they are comfortable, but in the summer I bet they are hot, everything here is. I don’t think they are plantar fasciitis socks, they are tight, but not that supportive for that condition. They do 100% of what I wan them for, which is to fight the Peripheral Edema (swelling) going on in my lower extremities.

MUST HAVE Gear for runners/lifters
I've been running since freshmen year high school, which was about 12 years ago, and over those 12 years I've gained some weight. I went from 130 to about 200lbs . I got back into long distance running two years ago and always wore cotton socks. Shin splints were the least of my concerns. Ankle mobility issues, knee pain, toes going numb... just to name a few. I decided to try these socks for a 5 mile run, which I normally run in 37 minutes with cotton socks and always have pain mid run. THESE WERE AMAZINNG. ZERO, and I mean, absolutely ZERO pain. My legs felt incredibly light, and I had a bounce in my step. No stiffness, no joint issues; and I've been wearing them for runs and my weight training. I highly recommend these socks.

Excellent socks, very well made..
I have been dealing with swelling and leg pain for about 8 months now, doctor recommended I get some compression stocking/socks and try them. Ordered these and gave them a try yesterday. I am not a small person so bending and getting these on was rather funny, to my wife. Normally if I sit for a while (driving home after work, mowing) it takes a few minutes to get my legs going again, with all the cramping and stiffness. Not anymore, I have noticed a real big improvement right away, I mowed yesterday for about an hour after putting these on and was able to get right off the mower. No cramps, no swelling, no pain. Even after sitting in the car driving her to do the shopping, I was able to get out without the cramping and pain that has been normal for a while... They are really well made... I have ordered two more pairs of these socks and will be ordering several more pairs when I get paid again..

OMG, finally compressions for chunky legs 😀😂
I'm a nurse with varicose veins, (no pain or swelling from it) but I work 12+ hours a shift and my feet are killing by the time I go home. I have tried different compression socks and these are by far the best. I'm 5'3, plus size and my calf size is 21 in. I ordered according to the size chart and XL is a perfect match. 19 inches on the size chart is the max but I took my chances and they are sooo perfect. The compression is truly 20-30, they don't cut off circulation and the length is perfect stopping at the back of my knee. The compression is so supportive, they stay in place and don't roll down like others. The colors are vibrant ( I have pink and blue) I hope they make more colors soon:) At the end of each shift, I can honestly say I don't have the foot pain like before and I do have more energy. Highly recommend. FYI; because of the material, if your feet sweat I would order a size up and wear a pair of thin ankle cotton socks under. I haven't tried it so I can't tell you how it feels....just a suggestion:)

SIZE COMPARISON: Between Sizes?
Pictures: Tan sock is S/M and Blue sock is L/XL Ordered these for my friend who, after ankle surgery, has an atrophied calf that is much smaller. His shoe size placed him in L/XL and his calf S/M. We ordered both sizes to compare, and figured he would take the S/M and I’d take the L/XL. Due to his lack of flexibility and patience, he couldn’t get either size on! So much for that. I was able to get both sizes on though. My measurements: Women’s 10.5 US shoe Inseam: 34” Calves at widest: 16.75” Calves just below knee: 14.75” I was able to get both sizes on without great struggle (flexibility does help and I rolled/put them on like you would hosiery or stockings). Both sock toes and heels were where they should be. Both socks pulled all the way up to just below the knee. Both were quite snug in the toe box, with the S/M fitting tighter (but not too tight to wear all day). I was able to get the S/M over the widest part of my calf, although the elastic band was tighter just below the knee than I would prefer. I think after a full day that level of tightness would be irritating. Ultimately, I would be able to wear the S/M if needed, but the L/XL are more comfortable and still offer noticeable compression. The fabric felt good and I look forward to trying these out after the gym to se if they help alleviate a chronic calf knot I deal with. BOTTOM LINE: If you are between sizes, I suggest basing your final decision on your calf measurement and not your shoe size.
