48x36 looks good, very happy with it

I bought the 48x36 size. Pretty easy to install (installed by myself with not much upper body strength; just pushed it against the wall as I was leveling it and marking holes). The screws it came with are very long so I ended up getting shallower (1 inch) drywall anchors and cutting the four screws with bolt cutters. It's now pretty firmly on the wall, no worries here! Looks much better than I had anticipated.

What a relief. No more ghosting!

I live and die by whiteboards, but most of them "ghost" by leaving images on the white surface. You can't erase these easily, especially if you leave the ink on the surface for weeks. Not with this baby. I can easily erase two months later! Amazing. It assembled and mounted easily. Just stick a pen through the holes to mark the spots while someone helps you hold it up to the wall with a level on it. One minor complaint: The plastic protective peel-off skin doesn't come off easily underneath the metal trim. Make sure you remove it before you mount it on the wall so you can pry it up gently to pull that layer off without dodads hanging off.

Solidly built, easy to mount

My son wanted a big dry erase board for his room and this fit the bill perfectly. It's solidly built and so far is holding up to his abuse. Best of all, it was easy to mount to the wall thanks to the design of the screwholes - there are holes you drill/screw through at each corner and then cover with little caps - much easier than trying to hang it.

Perfect quality for daily heavy use

Looks like the picture. The board erases easy without leaving marker residue (we use a dry-erase eraser). I haven't need to use a cleaner on it, yet, and we've had it for a couple months with heavy usage from our 6 young children who love to draw. It hung easily and quickly with provided hardware. The tray slides back and forth so it can be easily moved off to the side if needed, or completely removed without needing to remove the board from the wall. When my home classroom is set up, I will be purchasing a couple more of these.

Definitely worth the extra cost!

This is one the finest made boards I have found in a long time with a strong extruded aluminum frame, an all-metal back, and an almost glassy smooth writing surface! The only plastic found on this board are the 4 rounded corners which seem to be made of a tough nylon. I also found that the 40x30 size is a great balance of "fit and function" and is not as common a size for many boards. I especially like the fact that this board mounts with 4 screws (one in each corner) to keep it tight on the wall. Each screw passes through a corner of the board to give a very positive grip onto the wall surface. I detest boards that are hung like a framed picture as they tend to flop around or fall off the wall when writing on them. The only thing I would change would be the length of the marker/eraser tray. I wish they would have made it at least 1.5 to 2 times the length of the one that comes with the board. Thats a very subjective wish however and therefore not worthy of deducting from the overall rating. Lastly, the packaging for shipping was outstanding with the board bubble wrapped and buffered with thick cardboard "shock absorbers" on all sides. If you're looking for a superior quality board with great features then this is the one. Spend a little extra and you'll be happily using this for many years!

Great Large Magnetic Board

This is a gift for my Grandson, he wanted a place something to keep track of all the things he does. This will be perfect. the size is great and the magnets purchased to go with this will make it a fun place for him to keep track of homework, school activities and special dates and places. The board arrived prompt, was very well-packaged and protected from damage during S&H. Great buy and value. Would definitely purchase additional items from this seller.

Sturdy as heck, durable.

Sturdy as heck. Very magnetic (buy the magnetic erasers, you won't regret it!) Durable. What else can you say, when a product exceeds your expectations? I expect this whiteboard will be around for at least five years, maybe a decade.

Nice

Comes with board, tray, 4screws,4 optional anchors, 3 magnets. Can fit 6 thick expo markers in the tray and a small eraser or 4 comfortably with eraser. Tray is a little flimsy and slides into the bottom of the whiteboard so do not block the sides of the board before you slide the tray in. Also, the frame is prone to denting. Mine actually came with a dent in the bottom so the tray cant slide across but only on the middle to right half of the board. You can flip it if that happens but the logo would be upside down. The frame has a nice smooth surface. Installation is simply screw four screws directly into the holes in the corners of the board. So you can see them but theres no difficult back hanging as a trade off. The back has a sheet of visible metal and magnets work well. It is not heavy but installation needs two to make sure it is straight on the wall. I got this at a discount due to dent and missing hardware but if in new condition I would feel comfortable paying 55 for this. I bought this to help my three year old learn. I saw the prices of kids calendars and learning boards and I figured I could do better with this. I paired it with two sets of magnets also from amazon. See my reviews if interested.

I've only had it for a week and I'm extremely impressed with the board. It definitely feels a lot better than my old one and a lot more sturdy and more slick. The marker tray feels a little on the cheap side but the rest is excellent. Writing comes off very easily (I use a small microfiber towel as it works best). The box it came with was a little banged up but the board itself was not damaged. I definitely recommend this board.
