Very nice drill, just as described.

Best drill I ever used
best cordless drill that I've ever used. Lots of power and speed. The second battery really comes in handy. It takes care of all my drilling and screwing needs while building my Hollywood style Lighted Vanity Mirrors

It's Dewalt... How can you go wrong?
Have always bought Dewalt tools, and this is no exception. Was surprised with the little light that turns on while the trigger is pressed. Seems a bit finicky when trying to tighten a bit in the chuck (versus having and using a chuck key). But looks good, works great, meaning I have no issue overlooking that flaw. The zippered bag is very nice too, with ample room for added bit cases.

Nice drill
On my first project with this drill, I removed 4'x8' (painted & peeling) plastic lattice panels from around carport enclosures, then replaced them with new, differently colored lattice panels which were held on with 1" screws. I spent about 5 hours zipping screws in and out, and was still on my first battery when I completed the project. I am impressed with the duration of these 1.5ah batteries because I didn't expect one to last that long. This drill/battery combo is also a lot smaller than the 18v NiCad B&D drill that I replaced, and the batteries lasts way longer as well. I am very happy I made this purchase.

Love it.
Love it. I've purchased and used pretty heavily 6 different cordless drills over the last several years. This is by far the best. Of course technology changes over time but the size and power of this thing is awesome. Can't believe it came with 2 batteries too. On first inspection my concern was the charger. It has pins to connect to the battery and I'm worried that those pins may get bent when carried in the bag banging around with everything else. Also the little light that comes on with the trigger is a bit distracting for me and I don't see a way to disable it. But these are small things. Overall I love this thing.

Amazing Quality!
I have gone back and forth for years between Royobi and DeWalt but when my last Royobi drill died I decided to give DeWalt a try again and I am so glad that I made the switch back. This drill provides so much power and the battery last through all of my projects. Love that it comes with 2 batteries for the price of one. The flashlight is so useful and I would have never thought of this before but it has come in handy so many time. I absolutely love this drill and I will end up switching all my tools over to DeWalt as soon as I can get some extra cash.

It just works great!
I was using a cheap driver before this purchase which I bought for about $20. When the battery no longer held a charge, I decided to spend a little more money and buy a good driver - you get what you pay for. My old driver doesn’t even compare to this one. I have used a Dewalt drill for many years and it has worked great. So I decided to stay with the Dewalt brand name. I found this driver to exceed my expectations (after using the cheap driver, I guess it would). It is variable speed and can be used for drilling and driving screws. It has an adjustable clutch with sixteen settings which works great. For example, I set the clutch to the desired value (determined through experimentation), and I was able to drive deck screws to the same depth; no worry about overdriving the screws too deep. I used to use a drill with a screwdriver bit to drive screws, but I found myself always spinning the bit on the screw head. I didn’t have this problem with this driver. You get two lithium-ion batteries, a charger, and a carry bag with the driver. Cool!

Dewalt has way more options for generic brand batteries, which is a big money saver.
my black and decker drill started smoking when i went to drill a 2 inch hole in wood, ... which sucks, still works but i wish it was better made, so i decided to cast out a $100 bill to get a better drill, im sure Dewalt wouldn't like to hear it, but i went with Dewalt because there are so many generic batteries that you can buy for dewalt, that is the only reason i went with dewalt, i just knew i wanted a brushless good name brand drill. Drilled my two inch holes no Problem, drilled a few small holes in steel with ease, haven't used it too much yet, i also have a 12v Dewalt impact(not a brushless, but wish it was) which i use all the time, love both Drills, so far very content with the purchase,

Fantastic! Powerful and portable!
I love this thing! I was a bit distraught when my 20 year old Makita died - it had a good life and I was sorry to see it go. Man, but this DeWalt is so much more powerful, lighter and battery life is great! Easily get a full day of work from a single charge. I've used this for a diverse set of jobs so far - screw and nut driving of all kinds and light to medium drilling. The chuck can be a bit tricky for bit changes. If you are holding on to the chuck while hitting the trigger you'll give yourself a little burn if you do it on a higher setting. This has a little light that faithfully turns on with a tiny tap on the trigger. I was skeptical at first of the utility of this light. It won't replace the need for a well lit work area, but the light does nicely spot light your immediate task - so thumbs up! I hope this DeWalt lasts at least as long as my Makita did - so far it seems durable enough!

DIYers best friend! Great price, amazing drill!
I've had this drill for just over a year now and it's holding up great! I use it for many different things because I'm an avid DIYer and we always need a dependable drill! I use it mainly with a wire brush attachment and knock off rust and old paint with it while restoring vehicles. It's also great for gentle jobs such as vehicle headliners because you're able to knock it into the lower gear and have more control while using the wire brush. I honestly can't say enough about this drill! DeWalt really did their thing with this one because it's tough and reliable! Heck if it were to go bad today I would have got my money's worth and then some, and then I would reorder another because yeah it's that good!
