Durable DisplayPort Cable

I recently upgraded several users to a new Thinkpad laptop with a dock that only supports DisplayPort. I found this 10 pack at a great price so I took a chance and I'm pleasantly surprised with the build and picture quality from the display when using these cables. Many of my end users have commented how much better their viewing experience has been since switching from an ordinary VGA cable. I've used other AmazonBasics cables and they have yet to disappoint.

Supports high resolutions and ultrawide, thick cable.

Works perfectly driving my ultrawide monitors (2560x1080) at full resolution, which many other cables are unable to do. Cable itself is much thicker than I expected, which can be a good thing since it typically implies quality, but can also make routing through tight areas a bit of a pain. Almost too wide to fit in the cable management guides for my monitor arms, but it fits and works quite well after some initial difficulty.

Good cables at a decent price

Got a couple of 4k monitors and wanted to use display ports for the higher resolutions. I've had very good success with AmazonBasics cables before and these delivered just as well. I wish they were just a bit longer but the next step up was too long so I opted for these 6 footers. In hindsight since I have a standing desk that if I lift if all the way up it pulls the far monitor cable too tight I should have gotten one cable longer. Live and learn. They fit into the ports nice and snug and I've had no issues with them. Once again. AmazonBasics cables deliver functionality with great price. For now, I'll do my part to make Jeff Bezos rich.

Worth it if you need it.

Wow. It's a lot of cable. And it's thicker than normal display port cable too. Don't know if it has more wire or more insulation, but definitely feels like a solid cable. So if you need your monitor a decent distance from the tower like I did, great choice for the money.

a damn fine cable. I own 4 different brands of DP ...

Damn, a damn fine cable. I own 4 different brands of DP cables and i ended up using this one!. This cable solved my flickering issues on my benq xl2730z 144hz 2k, there are no locking mechanism on this cable but its ok. Have yet to detach from the port once.

Great value, durable, and its running at full 240 Fps!!

I have an alienware computer, and alienware monitor. I was using an HDMI cord from my monitor to graphics card on my computer but was having some problems getting the full 240 fps I should be getting so decided to give this Display Port Cable a try. Cable for the price point seems very well built, and durable. Connected it to my computer, and I am now running at full 240 fps now. So far its been working very well. I will update my review in a few months on durability.

Excellent Cable Without an Extreme Price!

I have seen many reviews on Amazon Basics products that get a low rating due to them not being a name brand. I can tell you that this is not true with the majority that we have used. This cable, for example, is an excellent and significantly cheaper alternative to the same type sold at a big box store. It enabled my gaming monitor to refresh at 280 rate and looks no different than the big name cables! I have found no issues and so glad I got it at an excellent price. Stop paying too much for cables and add-on items and try the Amazon Basics. You will be pleasantly surprised with extra money in your wallet!

Fantastic cable, competes with anything

These are a fantastic bargain of you're using them as longer runs than the 4-6ft cables included with monitors or standard ones you get at best buy or frys/micro center, whatever. The 9ft length are fantastic for me, and the price is extremely reasonable. These pushed an mg279q 144hz 1440 monitor at full 144hz off a 1080ti no problem, and push an overclocked alienware AW3418DW 34inch ultrawide at 1440 at 120hz no problem either. These cables aren't cheap, they're made well, and I'd put them up against any middle of the road cable any day. They are very cheap too. Great cable, totally worth it, don't worry about buying these. They'll be just fine.

Great for less

This works fine for my application. My monitor will not support FreeSync without a display port cable. Staples wanted like $50 for the same damn cable. It's a little thinner than I would have liked and it doesn't have the tabs that lock into the port but my application does not require them. I would recommend them at the price I paid which was $9.50.
