Mother-In-Law's Phone

Purchase it for my Mother-In-Law who is 94 years old. She needed a very basic phone and this one is perfect. She is use to the "flip phone" style. Not many of these around anymore. Programmed "Hot" buttons to family members. Works perfectly.

Simple phone but just what we needed

Purchased this phone for my husband who just uses it for receiving and making phone calls. He does not text or anything else. He doesn't even use it for VM which is a problem because robocalls are leaving messages to the point that I wish I could figure out how to turn off the VM feature (believe me I've tried to turn it off).

Difficult to find

This is my favorite phone that I have used for many years. Its limited functions are perfect for me. I don't use a cell phone often, because I prefer my land line at home. I have never paid more than $14.99 for replacements. I was having trouble with previous flip phone, so I thought I should buy a new one. I went to 2 WalMarts, 2 Best Buys, Kroger, and finally the (pricey) AT&T store. All were "out of stock" of my favorite device. I checked on Amazon and quickly found one. Unfortunately, the price was $49.49 - a small price to pay for peace of mind. I may need to upgrade to a smart phone, but it will happen with me kicking and screaming. Thank you, Amazon.

Phone Suddenly Came to LIFE once more.

Purchased this phone for my father. Visited the AT&T store only to find that they Kyocera they carried was over $200. For a flip phone I thought they was highway robbery. I set the phone up and gave to me dad. Within a week he brought the phone back to me stating that he dropped it on wet grass. He could not get it to work, my mom could get it to work no could I and I was not happy. Our grass is not as hard as concrete and their was no reason for this phone to die so soon. I laid the phone on my cigar table to look at it each day I came home from work. I waited about two weeks and after thinking about it I picked up and tried it out. That phone was playing with our minds. It worked fine. When it came back to life that is where it played with my mind. At the end of February after an overnight charge, Dad said it would not turn. ********** I must return to add what the issue was****** After my father dropped this phone on a wet lawn the phone stopped working. I thought this was a strange issue so I thought possibly the battery might need replacing which I did. Then, maybe a few short days afterward the phones supposedly stops working. So, I gave my father an older phone ( this older phone I had purchased a year or two prior to having as a back up to my phone. I already had and purchased a new battery for it. Within a matter of days, it went dead. Three phones in less than three months certainly cause one to be suspicious. So I charged the phone. As it turns out my dad's charging was at fault. All of the phones I purchased as well as the batteries worked. Unfortunately, I had purchased an additional phone with one of the big 4 services and now I do not need it but, since I had already signed the contract I have an extra phone. I suppose I can always use it as a business phone for myself. This phone did not have a problem. It was perfect for my father. It did come with a charger and I have no idea why my dad thought he could use the same one. He grew up during the depression and his family was poor. He has always been somewhat of a miser so, as he grows older these ways are coming back. My apologies to the seller and anyone else I mislead. Lynne

Wow..I tried several phones to find one that my husband can HEAR when I call. Finally!! Great phone for him who does not text and just wants to make and receive calls , sync his truck and take an occasional picture...Perfect~
