Great fit swim diaper

We cloth diaper and these are great for summer swimming lessons. Our son was took swimming lessons at 23 months, 24 lbs. and they fit great. I like the adjustable waist which works great because they are snug enough to hold poop, but not too tight to create red lines and hurt him. They held a lot of water in them, which if he peed, held up great. He has not pooped in them, but after cloth diapering for two kids now, I know they would be able to hold poop based on the snug fit based on his size. I cannot say for smaller children, but his size of 24#, they work great.

Excellent swim diaper, adorable patterns.

Adorable and excellent fit on my one and a half year old. Exactly as described. My child pooped in them once right after we got out of the pool and they held everything in until I was able to clean him up. The snaps made it a breeze to get my child in and out of the diaper. The previous summer, I used a different brand of swim diaper that did not have snaps and it was a nightmare getting them on and off. To those concerned about these diapers holding pee, they do not. All swim diapers, disposable and reusable, are designed to hold solids only. If they absorbed pee, they would be completely saturated the second they hit the pool.

These reuseable swim diapers are awesome and adorable! My 9 month old has started weekly swim lessons and we have really had great success with these. When secured properly they do their job. They will not completely contain liquid (urine) but no swim diaper will. They are cute enough that when at the pool or beach I am able to put my son in just these and no swim trunks. They appear comfortable on him and have not left any marks of irritation on the skin. The diapers are easy to secure and stay in place. It is a great price for a set of two! The quality of the diapers is wonderful as well. They have withstood constant washings and held up perfectly. I would order these again in other designs.

These are great for my 2 1/2 year old. I was actually on Amazon to buy the iPlay brand swim diapers, but after reading reviews I felt uncertain about what size to order because there were so many complaints about them being too small. I searched for other brands and settled on this for the versatility it offers and the price. -Fit: My son is 32 pounds and this fits him on the last snap. I do question if it would fit a 40 lb child because it's snug on him, but I also know they lean out a little as they grow, so it's entire possible they would go up that high. -Effectiveness: I haven't had a poop incident in these yet, but given how they fit I feel confident it would be contained well. The elastic is snug around his thighs and waist. -Value: Two of these are a similar prices as one of the other. I'm so glad I got the 2 pack because we've had a few days where there's swim lesson in the morning and then we go to the pool in the evening. This gives plenty of drying time. -Versatility: I love that I can use these for my 1 year old nephew when he comes over or any other age of kid below 40 lbs. We have a pool within a block of us and we spend a ton of time there. Last summer I used disposable swim diapers and that got expensive. I wish I would've bought these sooner! Overall, no complaints! Definitely a good value and you have peace of mind knowing they will fit and your child can use them for a few summers. Update Aug 4th, 2016: We had a poop incident. Actually we had come home from boating. My son had been jumping off the swim step and playing in the water. We came home before changing him out of the diaper. When I took off his swim trunks I could smell the poo. I don't know at what point he went, whether it was in the water or the one block golf cart ride home. But it was contained well in the diaper. We hosed it off and threw it in the washing machine and it came out looking new. Phew! Glad we have these reusable diapers. Since we use them daily I know they've paid themselves off by not having to buy throw away ones.

Worked from newborn-age 2! Strongly recommend!

We used these for our daughter from the time she was about 3 months all the way through age two, when she was potty trained and didn't need them. Our daughter is definitely on the petite side, so I'm not sure how they'd fit a larger toddler, but we really liked them and were sad to put them away when she didn't need them anymore! I just received a second order, now for our baby boy, in the fox/turtle designs and the print is beautiful! The turtle diaper looks like a painting; I'm really impressed with these prints! The only awkward thing - I'm not sure why they do this - is that they snap in the back of the diaper, not in the front. Perhaps this makes it so your little one can't easily pull them off, but it's very strange to have to flip your baby to snap them. That said, we still were so satisfied with the diapers for our daughter that we thought it worth while to have for our son, so not a major complaint, just an observation. Overall, especially for the price, we strongly recommend these!

Fits a newborn

My son was about 2 months old when I purchased these and it was difficult to find swim diapers for him to use at that young age. This worked perfectly. It fit snug without hurting him and there was no leakage. The material is great quality and looks like it will last more than few summers and potentially even given as hand me downs. The designs are adorable and exactly as shown. They are also easy to wash and I didn't notice any color fading/bleeding after throwing them into the white laundry. BONUS- I love that I'm not filling up the landfills with disposable swim diapers to boot!

A wonderful swim diaper and the price can't be beat.

I purchased these Alva Baby swim diapers and absolutely LOVE them. Pros: These one size adjustable diapers are a perfect fit for any baby/toddler up to approximately 30 pounds. Adjustable sizes makes it extremely easy to remove after pool time. Simple unsnap one or both sides and it is easily removed. No rolling of the swim diaper when it is removed. No tugging or pulling to removed this swim diaper. Easily washed. Snug fit around the leg to ensure no leakage of solids. Great for the price! Cons: You're missing out if you pass this swim diaper up!

This IS a great diaper-free day option at home too!

So this supposedly doesn't contain urine. Supposedly that leaks out. Poop is always contained according to the manufacturer. My son has used these at home when I think he needs a break from diapers but don't want to risk his nakedness resulting in a poop explosion. We use these at water parks under a wet suit and by themselves. We also use them at home if I think he needs a break from elastic or whatever. They definitely are adjustable height-wise and I think toddlers tend to become more lean, so hopefully they'll continue to fit circumference-wise. I actually really like these. Sometimes a long day in a car can lead to irritation and this really makes you feel like a good parent since you can just switch to these and know your baby's comfy and your floors won't be stained.

Great reusable swim diaper

First, these are absolutely not Urine proof (I found that out the hard way). This makes it slightly more difficult as you have to change your little one once you get to the lake, pool or beach and again before you leave. My parents have a pool so we have used these 20+ time already and they have held up wonderfully. Unlike other reviews, I have not found that they hold water but that may be because I am putting them on looser. The numerous buttons allow for a significant change in size so these will be the only swim diapers you will need until they are out of diapers. My little one was about 10 Ibs when we first bought these and is about 18 Ibs now and they work just as well now as before. She has pooped twice while wearing these (one was a significant blow out), and we did not have any leaks. Overall these are a great reusable diaper that I recomend purchasing.

Stylish & Effective!

I am obsessed with the patterns on these swim diapers!! Plus, they work!! When ordering, I was concerned about sizing and how the snaps would work - in person, it is pretty easy to figure out and they fit my 17 month old like a charm (he is 33" and 23lbs, so he is tall & lean). The adjustable nature of the snaps makes me think it should be able to fit most babies within the overall given weight range. You can adjust for the waist and the legs. I have used them as the swimsuit itself and with little swim shorts over them - either way, it works and is seriously the most stylish swim diaper you will find!
