I love that this toddler pillow is organic and a bonus is that it is made in the USA! I couldn't take it out of the package because it is a gift but you can still feel it is soft yet has firmness for support!

Perfect for kids and car rides!

My toddler decided she was only going to sleep with a pillow. Of course we are told not to do this and I was worried, but then I found this pillow. It is light and its very breathable which alleviated all of my concerns of her being smothered. She also had accidently peed through her diaper and was in a position where she got the pillow wet and with most pillows the pillow would be hard to wash but these were super easy to throw in the was and quick to dry. I love these little pillows and so does my daughter. I also recommend these for in the car when traveling since they are smaller than most pillows. Worth every penny.

LOVE IT!

We bought this for our son when he was around 18 months old and he started using it right away in his crib. I held off on writing a review until we had the need to wash and dry it (we use a pillow case on it, so not planning to wash/dry the actual pillow unless it’s necessary). I have to admit, I was definitely wary of putting it through the washer and dryer. I washed it on the delicate cycle, but it was just soaking wet and sooo heavy at the end. So I put it through a setting on my washer ‘Drain and Spin’ which uses the heaviest spin cycle, where as the gentle cycle uses the lightest spin cycle . Then into the dryer on low heat. Came out like a brand new pillow!! So pleased! We are taking a vacation next week and his pillow will definitely be coming with him!

Great first pillow

Great first pillow! I got this for my 18 month old (even though this isn't recommended before age 2...) mainly because she had a cold and couldn't breathe with her head flat on the crib. I felt like she was old enough to have a pillow, so I searched around and found this one. It has enough stuffing in it to elevate baby's head off the mattress slightly but not stuffed enough that she has her nose and mouth covered by it. She seems to like it well enough, even though I still find her in odd positions in the crib without her head on the pillow, at close to 2 years old now.

NO Off-Gassing AT ALL! HOORAY!!!

The test for me as to whether an item is truly as organic and "natural" as stated is how it smells when brand new, fresh out of the packaging... because my nose is as keen as a cat going after a can of freshly-opened tuna. This one smelled so pure... no chemical odor wafted away from it at all... It. Smelled. Like. Nothing! -- just as organic items rightfully should smell! I was so excited to give this to my toddler, without hesitation, without it needing to "air out" as so many bedding items unfortunately need these days. Let's be honest with one another: Why would we want such a heavy chemical close to our face and being inhaled in??! This pillow is SUCH a perfect solution, a perfect size for home and travel, and a great bargain compared to chemical-laden comparisons! :-) I would definitely buy this again and again...

The perfect size for my 2 year old!

My son just turned 2 and we got him this pillow to try. Although he isn't using it to sleep yet, his choice, he is playing with it often around the house. It is the perfect size for a toddler and I love that the whole thing is washable. It means I don't have to buy tiny pillow cases that he would just take off anyway. I think a better bet is just two pillows in case one needs to go in the wash.

Great Pillow

This is comparing "My Little Toddler Pillow" 100% ORGANIC Cotton Toddler Pillow HYPOALLERGENIC & WASHABLE made in USA - Unisex kids pillow - 13X18 (No pillowcase needed) to "kinder Fluff Toddler/Travel Pillow" Toddler/Travel Pillow -No extra Pillowcase/Sham needed-Luxurious 300T Soft Cotton In the pictures, the organic cotton pillow is the more yellow colored pillow, while the non-organic cotton is the more white pillow. There's really not much difference between the two pillows as far as physical appearance. Even after using the kinder fluff pillow about a year, it's still as fluffy as the brand new pillow. My toddler loves them both. Nothing life changing about either pillow. As far as buying an organic pillow, this pillow only uses organic cotton on the shell, but the inside is still the typical chemical filling. It's still better than nothing, but also not super "crunchy" if that's your thing. We use pillow cases on our pillows, so the shell material isn't a huge selling or breaking point to me. Overall, they're both great pillow options for a toddler. Neither is physically superior to the other. Both are easily cleaned. Organic is better than non-organic material, so that's really the only difference to me.

Perfect for kids

Pros: Super soft, cute and tiny, washable, pillowcase not needed Cons: Pillowcase not needed - discoloration will occur over time I purchased this pillow for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday. The second I pulled it out of the packaging, she was absolutely in love. It's a plain, off-white, small pillow, and perfect for her size. It is so soft and cuddly, that she sometimes walks around with it and prefers it over her favorite stuffed animals. I recommend this pillow to anyone with children old enough to use pillows. (It is not recommended for babies and young children because of SIDS risk)

I Feel Completely Comfortable Having My Toddler Sleep on This Snuggly Soft Pillow

Snuggly soft with zero weird smell. I feel completely comfortable having my child sleep on this pillow. It's supportive but not so huge that her face gets lost in it if she sleeps on her tummy. From the moment I took it out of the package it had zero smell. I washed it before she used it because that's what moms do, lol, but it had zero chemical or odd smells coming from it when I took it out of the package. The outside of the pillow is a very soft, off white cotton. There's no need for a pillowcase. I just toss it in the wash every week or two (which is nice because there are nights where her diapers leak or she goes to bed grubby from playing outside). This would make a nice gift for little ones. It's always fun for them to have everyday objects just their size.

Didn't work for us UNTIL they sent us our own...

This toddler pillow did not meet my 6 year old's needs for something this same size as it was far to thin/flat to be of support for her. So I returned it, and then got a kindly-worded email inquiring why. So I replied in kind (and in detail, because I'm like that). Low and behold Joe from My Little North Star actually created my child the pillow I described and sent it back to me about two weeks later. I am beyond impressed and thankful sir, we have been on the lookout for a pillow of this caliber for a couple years now. My daughter is much more comfortable with her new pillow, thank you.
