So, like I am just going to chime in here along with all the other positive reviews for this wireless doorbell package. There is nothing not to like about this economical and nicely put together transmitter and receiver. The receiver works off 110volts so plug it in and forget it, after you decide on the perfect tune from the vast selection list. The transmitter lights up around the blue ring and is powered by a small battery, which in my experience, last for years. Nicely made, easy to set-up, works every time and I only wish I had another front door so I could by another one! If your wired doorbell has seen better days, replace it confidently with this unit. I love it and that's saying something for a doorbell

This is a simple, no-frills item that does exactly what it's supposed to. I have it at my side door, where the delivery people come, with the receiver in my basement office a floor down and at the other end of the house. No problems with signal. I like that the battery is included, because it's an odd size that you'll probably have to order online when it runs down. Should be a long battery life since all it has to do is send an RF signal while the button is pressed.

This is the most clever doorbell I have looked at. It has two mounting options, a fun selection of sounds, and a loudness control. Perfect for an often used backdoor that does not have a built in door bell. The range is as good as advertised. I intend to buy another to use between my shop and house as a signalling device to tell me when to pick up the phone or come to dinner. A replacement battery is at a reasonable cost, contrary to some of the new electronic devices. If you have ever tried to find and replace a failed transformer for a wired doorbell, you will love this device at a most reasonable price. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00M8AQLZS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0

I've gone years without a doorbell. I ran across this and thought I'd give it a try. This doorbell did EVERYTHING the ad said! I set this up by myself (which is a task in itself)! Read the instructions, unpacked the items in the box and BAM! I HAD A NEW DOORBELL! The HARDEST part of the process was trying to decide between the many neat little door bell rings that this little bitty box has to offer!! LOL! Can't wait for the holiday season to try out my little holiday rings on my guests when they arrive! I'm so happy I discovered this!! Very loud ringer and obvious outside button to identify your doorbell location. Awesome product! Will be recommending this one!

Honestly there isn't much to say about this product, it's just perfect. My door is out on the sidewalk of an apartment complex and the bell can be hard to hear. We installed this next to the doorbell, and now I can finally hear when a package arrives or friends are coming over. The blue led ring light adds a nice flare for visitors as well, it's usually the first conversation we have. Mind you, my door gets a LOT of sunlight, and this doorbell troops through it all. So far it's withstood hours of sunlight, storming rain, one blizzard, and extreme winds. (Yeah I lived in nyc). If I could nitpick I would say the other music sounds it offers are just not that good, but again thats nitpicking I just stick to the default bell sound and it just works. Excellent product which I highly reccomend.

We recently moved to a large apartment with a metal front door. I did place the button directly on the steel door -- cognizant that the manufacturer warns that it may not work there. However, it works perfectly with the ringer placed 3 rooms away. I do like the fact that the ring around the button lights up when pressed. . I do wish that there was a way to identify or quickly get to the desired ring "tone" rather than having to loop through the multiple ring options.

It's a neat little product! I got it because I live in an old house (built in the1900's) that was converted into an apartment building. However, when people knock, I can't tell if they are knocking on my door or my neighbor's (who's door is directly adjacent to mine). I was always running to my front door when someone was actually knocking at his lol; this product solved that problem. lol. Furthermore, I got it so that I could hear the door if I was sleeping or in the shower. lol Thus, I am very happy so far with this wireless doorbell. In the hallway, the walls are white, but I chose the black one for easier visibility to approaching guests and visitors. Also, I have the wireless controller part plugged up in my kitchen; a central location so that it can be heard throughout the apartment. It came ready to use and was super easy to install, taking all of 10 seconds! I just swabbed the back of the doorbell and the wall with alcohol to help the adhesive stick better and viola! Lastly, you can't beat the awesome price. It was budget friendly after just moving in here a month ago.

I like this TeckNet WA658 Wireless Doorbell, not just because of the price (just $11.98 with free Prime Shipping). It’s very cleverly designed; the volume can be adjusted upwards or downwards and there are 32 chimes to choose from. The doorbell small in size but the chime is loud enough to hear from any reasonable distance. Since it’s rated for outdoor use, using the provided screws and rawl plugs, I installed the transmitter button on the outdoor gate, approximately 3 metres from the house.( Exposed to the elements) According to the manual the unit has an operating range of about 250 metres. The remote transmitter button is rated IP33 weatherproof, which it is not exactly the highest waterproof rating, however so far it seems to be holding up. Over the past few days the rain poured down heavily all day; the transmitter was drenched, but it survived the deluge, and continues to function. So far I am very impressed with this little doorbell, however time would tell about its durability with the constant exposure to the elements. I have no hesitation in recommending this TeckNet Doorbell.

It is a nice door bell. We took out batteries from our old bell since when we moved in, my baby needed to sleep and bell was too loud. Now she has grown up, I wanted something affordable and functional. This was perfect solution since it was cheap, easy set up, and nice options. My daughter loves to change the sound every noun then and it is that easy for 5 year old to do it! Just stick it in front of the door and you have a nice bell. Oh, also I love the option to control the volume!

We bought this for our new loft condo since it's hard to hear any knocks as our door is away from the main living area, down a hallway. Can't beat it for the cost. Took no time setting up. We used the 3M tape for mounting it outside our door, but t also comes with screws if you need a more permanent mounting. There were a TON of tones- from Holiday & Happy Birthday to common classical excerpts to your simple "Ding-Dong" Although not needed for our purposes, the doorbell button does light up when pushed. The receiver (where the tone comes from) does need an outlet, which again, was not a problem for us. I was a bit concerned if the connection between the two would work as we have heavy wood beams, brick wall, and steel beams throughout our loft- no problem there! And finally, I read some reviews about the volume, and I'm not sure how poor the other reviewers hearing is, but the loudest is almost too loud! So its nice that it has a volume adjustment. Great product for the money, would recommend/purchase again!
