Easy to Use, Easy to Clean

Let me preface this by saying I'm not the greatest chef. I am known by several for always burning things to the bottoms of pots, most notably cheese. I very much enjoy going out for fondue and so I decided to try doing it at home, albeit with some hesitance due to the aforementioned cheese burning. My roommates and I got together and purchased a nice selection of dip-able goodies, Gruyere, garlic, and white wine. We mixed the necessary ingredients and waited. It took only 5 to 10 minutes before the cheese was a nice viscosity and we dug in. It was amazing. It's the perfect size for 3-6 people. Best of all it cleans up insanely easily. Nothing had burnt to the bottom and the nonstick pot made it a very painless cleanup. It also cooled down rather quickly, with the pot itself being cool after about 10-15 minutes and the base taking about 20-30 minutes to cool. Shipping was handled well and it comes in 3 easy parts, it fits nicely in one of the very large drawers I have in my kitchen apartment. Both my bf and my female roommate commented that it was larger than they expected, pleasantly surprised. The manual is short and easy to follow, and it comes with a 1 year warranty if you sign up with the manufacturer. The only comment I will say to the negative is that upon initial heating it smelled a bit like burning plastic, but the manual actually says this is normal and should only happen the first time. It only lasted about the first five minutes, but if you don't read the manual it might surprise you. Another possible negative is the cord isn't very long, so if your table or where you intend to eat is far away from an outlet you might need an extension cord. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Great size, easy to use and easy to clean up!!!

Great fondue pot. Perfect for what I needed. Set it on lowest setting for chocolate fondue and it was perfect for several hours of dipping enjoyment by everybody. Use 2 parts milk chocolate chips to 1 part 1/2&1/2 dairy product and it was perfect. My batch was 3 cups milk chocolate chips to 1-1/2 cup 1/2&1/2. Filled pot about 2/3 full and served about 12 people with a bit left over. The fondue pot was a huge hit, easy to use and easy to clean up. Very satisfied with it.

Soooo easy to clean.

The fondue pot shipped as promised and arrived in good shape. The best thing about this pot is it can be removed from the heating base so cleanup is made easy. I've used it 3 times now and it is easy to get the heat just right. I bought this NutriChef pot to replace a stainless steel, non removable fondue pot that I used only once. It was a pain to try to clean and the slightly burnt cheese never did clean up from the bottom of the pot.

It changed my life

Cheese! Chocolate! Spare body parts! You name it, it melts it! Makes a perfect fondue! I don't use the pickers though. I use a fork like an uncultured neanderthal. Just take the whole bowl of deliciously made fondue to your bed and watch Friends re-runs by yourself. You won't be sad anymore because now all of your time will be spent making fondue! The light shuts off when its at the temperature you want it to be. Thought it was broken at first. I would have cried honestly. Fondue just holds my life together. Along with my 12 cats. Lulu, Shadow, Gummy, Ziggy, Maxwell, Spook, Lilith, Spunky, Yoshi, Benjamin, Tod, and Luther. Seriously if I blow this pot out making fondue I WILL buy another one of these.

Fun fondue set. Glad I bought it.

I received this today and we had a delicious cheese fondue for dinner. This is a nice set. It seems well-made. I was surprised at how quickly it heated up. Cleaning was a little difficult because cheese stuck to the inside bottom of the pot. I may have had the heat set too high. With a short soak and some scrubbing with a plastic pad, it cleaned up nicely.

I wish I could give it more stars! This NutriChef Countertop Fondue Pot holds way more fondue than I thought it would. It is easy to use and even easier to clean. I love the way it looks too!

The Melting Pot All Year Long!

I bought the NutriChef Countertop Fondue Pot recently as a birthday gift for my best friend and I. We usually go to The Melting Pot but this year I thought it might be fun to have our own Melting Pot experience with friends and family and this time we would each get to take a fondue Pot home. We haven't used them yet because we're celebrating around Easter time however, I have opened one of them to check out the quality and so forth. I must say I am very happy with the size, color/look, and durability of this product. It truly does have a fancy look to it and I know we will be able to enjoy wonderful fondue experiences throughout the year now. I also want to make sure I comment on how deep the inside of the pot is. It has a very deep well so I believe we should be able to comfortable serve 3-6 people per fondue pot. I bought 2! Great times ahead!!!!

love this and great way to get your picky eaters to eat real food

Love this. Easy to use, easy clean-up, large enough to feed 5 people at a time. My 6 year old cooks his own food it's a GREAT way to get him to eat!! (that's why I bought the thing!) Tonight it's chicken and broccoli which he normally wouldn't touch but it's a quick and healthy meal that he's excited about. Never mind the cheese and chocolate fondu treats... fabulous! and, again... east to do, easy to clean.

So simple for fondue newbies

I cannot stress how easy this thing was to set up, use, and clean. The unit heated up quickly and melted our fondue cheese and chocolate effortlessly. Cleanup was fast and painless. Completely satisfied with quality and price!
