Rain water not a problem

I like the extra stop light it adds to my truck. It fit good, only had to remove one shim to get the holes for the pin to line up but it works well. Only problem was it's made for a 4 blade connector and I had to get the adapter to a 7 pin. Once I got that, it plugged in without any problems. Just went through several days of tropical storm with lots of rain that I had to drive for about 5 hours in. Water didn't get into the light and the connections remained tight and dry. Worth the money

Nice Looking and Useful Hitch Option

Easy to connect using MY trailer pin. The pin sent with the unit is not long enough. Other reviews mentioned this. So I was aware of this and I thank you. Now if only the supplier would rectify this short pin.

Newer version with 4 wire connection.

They seemed to revised this product. The product I received was a 15 led version and used all 4 wires (instead of the two listed). It also had several holes to accommodate different hitches and a plastic hitch pin that was long enough for my oem Lexus hitch. It fixes many of the issues reported by other buyers. I haven't tested it at night yet, but it seemed to meet/exceed my expecations. The instructions included also states that this is the new model. It also has dual brightness for parking and brakes.

pretty good extra brake light

Works great on 2011 Mazda CX-7, really bright extra brake light and also flashes when alarm is turned off/on along with other exterior lights to help finding car a little easier. The included "pin" to secure it to my hitch is both too short and too thick to go fully through and lock the light into place, you need to have a separate pin, ideally a locking one so your light doesn't get stolen. Yes its all plastic but seems pretty sturdy.

Good, Better, Best

I tried another watch protector and the stupid thing fell off. How is that going to protect anything? This one lock in place with the watch band, so it's going nowhere. The cover provides firm touch, cut properly for the buttons and speakers. I'd definitely buy again.

Great product that does more than others on the market

I wanted a hitch light but since mopar has a different wiring scheme i needed a product that would be plug and play... this way exceeded my expectations and i have people ask about it all of the time...

2005 Chevy Tahoe LS

Works on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe with no problems. I'm going to reconfigure it to hid the wires other than that perfect.

Works perfect. When you brake and turn it flashes. When you just brake it stays on and does not flash. Nice and bright. Works as expected on my Mazda CX-9

excellent, buy one now

a great addition to my truck. it is like va 3rd brake light mounted lower. it is bright as heck, very noticible. i have had several people question mevwhere i got it. i will now buy one for my wife's SUV as well as my sister in laws SUV. IN todays world of people watching their cell phones instead of theroadvandvtraffic anything one can do to make your vehicle more visable is safer

Works perfectly :)

After I ordered this, I read some of the Q&A's and saw reports that this light would flash with the right side turn signal! After receiving it and attaching it to my 2019 RAM1500 (and no, I did not need an extension cable), I found that it works exactly as I wanted it to! The light will only light for brakes, or 4-way flashers...it does NOT turn on with either of the turn signals by itself! It also turns on at lower power when the lights are on. VERY pleased :)
