High Quality + Good Price = BARGAIN!

These are a really nice set of BBQ Skewers that are well worth the price - in fact I would call them are a bargain!!. They are the perfect width to prevent the food from just spinning around every time you try to flip/turn them (which is what happens when you use the round style skewers). However, they are not so wide that you need to use huge size pieces of meats and veges that never get cooked through. The tips are sharp and steak, chicken and veges easily slide right on. I especially like the handle design as it makes it super easy to grasp and turn the skewers using a set of tongs or grill mit (they are an all metal skewer so the handles do get hot!) They came with a really nice case canvas style, velcro-close case - much higher quality than I expected - which makes it super convenient to store them and not have to dig through a drawer to find all ten of them. Yes, you get ten which is nice if you are serving a large group. Overall I consider these a tremendous bargain - a very high quality product at a super reasonable price! PS. The seller did contact me via email shortly after my purchase to ensure I was satisfied which is always a sign of good customer support/service!

Nice product, Good price.

These skewers were just what we wanted. Holds meat chunks in place for even cooking when turning. Pretty sharp point. Wide surface area of handle end cooled for easy handling while getting everything set up on the table. Plenty of space for food and just fits inside our small two burner gas grill. We like 'em! (Like the pouch too, no more skewers spread all over the bottom of the drawer). UPDATE: These have worked out so well we got an extra set for hosting "family" events and even bought a set as a gift for my brother-in-law (the BBQ "expert" in the family) after he commented positively on these.

Great Item

These are very sturdy skewers! They are great for kabobs that have large pieces of meat and veggies. I was also surprised by the nice pouch they come in - I wasn't expecting that! Definitely recommend and I will most likely buy another set to accommodate large BBQ parties!

High Quality Skewers

Just received these and they look and feel amazing. I can tell these are high quality skewers compared to every other one I have used over the years. These are very thick and feel sturdy. They have a sharp end that will make adding meat a lot easier. They are also flat so no rolling of food when flipping. I'm very excited to try these out!

If you are doing shazlik or kabobs the right equipment matters

We purchased 2 sets of these to increase our grilling capacity for Russian shazlik during family & neighborhood cookouts. We originally purchased 2 sets of "Steven Raichlen Best Of Barbecue Kabob Rack" (B003FZAVU6) from amazon which was a total of 12 skewers and included a set of skewer supports which we never use, since we also purchased a "Party Griller 32” Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill – Portable BBQ Grill" (B0161BGMEY) specifically for kabob cooking. With a total of 32 skewers we are very efficient since the grill accommodates 16 skewers at a time. These skewers are about 1/3 inch shorter then the SR ones, and weigh 50 grams each instead of 70. They are also slightly narrower. Both work perfectly. Shazlik is a Russian street food prepared by marinating dark chicken meat like thighs in a slurry of onion, ketchup and mayonnaise overnight. It's then cooked over lump charcoal frequently turning to help the meat self-baste and cook evenly. It's always a party favorite at our house. These skewers are the best I have found so far.

VERY NICE DURABLE SKEWERS THAT WONT ROLL ONTO THE GROUND.

THESE ARE VERY NICE SKEWERS, HAVE A GREAT WEIGHT AND ARE EASY TO HANDLE. THERE ARE A SET OF 10 OF THEM, AND THEY COME IN A VERY NICE STORAGE/TRAVEL POUCH. THEY ALSO CAME IN AN OUTER BOX AS WELL, SO YOU COULD STORE THE SKEWERS INSIDE THE BAG, INSIDE THE BOX IF YOU SO CHOOSE. THE SKEWERS ARE NICE AND SMOOTH. I LIKE THAT THEY ARE FLAT AND NOT ROYND, THAT WAY YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM ROLLING AND FALLING ON THE FLOOR OR THE GROUND. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Awesome skewers!

These are great skewers, fit on a propane grill, & oven. The design is good, food doesn't turn & cooks evenly. But mine got stained with smoke after 1st use in BBQ (propane) I scrubbed most of it off, but I still can't get the smokey stain off the handles. They look horrible now. They still usuable, & I like the fact the come with their own pouch!

Excellent skewers, great value

Love these skewers. They are long and sturdy, have long handles that are easy to grab with hot mitts or tongs, and hold up well on the grill. They also have a nice carrying case which keeps you from losing them in the drawer.

Great Length

I got these for my husband for Father's Day and we just used them for the first time. They worked great! I ordered these over others like them because they were longer. My husband liked that feature too, because we were able to put a lot of meat and veggies on one kabob. He said since they were flat, they were easy to turn over, he just used the steak tonged fork to turn them (said the metal that was sticking out of the grill was still way too hot to touch with bare hands). We put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they washed fine :)

Reusable and fit a lot!

Love these skewers! Best part is they didn't even get hot when grilling! They are quite sharp so you might not want to use these when hosting a large party but these were perfect for a small gathering. I made chicken skewers and have the recipe up on BrieOCD. Can't wait to use these again!
