SOLID TEA MAKER
While it may not be the most sleek appliance out there, it gets the job done. I drink iced tea year round and this makes great quality STRONG tea. Of course you can adjust the setting, but I like it strong and was pleased to see it delivers. I wish there was a nicer container included to hold the tea and also a pan for the appliance to sit on to prevent any drippage from getting on the counters. However, for the price it can't be beat.

love....Love....LOVE
I absolutely LOVE this iced tea maker! I drink a LOT of iced green tea, oolong, Moroccan mint...etc. Back in the Stone Age (joking) I had one of the original iced tea makers from this company. After moving many many times, I lost the parts to my old one. After that, I went years buying bottled tea. It never dawned on my to just buy a new iced tea maker. I was spending astronomical amounts of money on the bottled teas that are also laden with chemicals and preservatives...yuck 🤢!! I would also run out that the absolute worst times. Now I never have to worry! I can always have fresh iced tea in my fridge! I love this! I will get a lot of use out of it!

How to get the most out of this Iced Tea Maker
This is a great iced tea maker. I will give a few tips of how I use it to give it such a high rating. First off, don't follow their instructions. Everybody's taste is different so use as many or as few tea bags/loose tea as you require. Second, if you like sweet tea, don't fill the container up with ice before brewing, it's too hard to disolve the sugar in cold water. Third, I do use 12 tea bags to brew a 3 quart batch of tea but once the brewing cycle is over I dump the tea bags in the hot tea and let them steep for another 15-30 minutes to get the taste I desire without using more tea bags. I add one squeezed lemon to the warm tea after the sugar disolves and the tea bags are removed. I then add cold filtered water to the pitcher to reach the 3 quart line. It is so much better than the boiling water on the stove and steeping method, although you will get a stronger flavor with less tea bags. I always use filtered water, it just seems to work better. Bottom line, try brewing several batches until you get the taste that hits home with you. It took me about 5 pitchers until I said " dang, that's good"

ICED TEA BEFORE NOW ICED TEA LOVER X 1000!!
I love, love, love this Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker. You have to understand I've been making tea for 40 years by boiling tea bags in a 3 quart pot on top the stove adding sugar letting it steep for hours, blah, blah, blah. Over the past 8 years I've been diagnosed with Rhumetroid, Osteo, arthritis, heart disease, as well as Fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue syndrome. Needless to say I can't make tea anymore. And now my husband & I are alone, we just buy iced tea by the half gallon from our local supermarket or fast food joint. Not anymore....Mr. Coffee has saved me. It's like a dream, I put the tea bags into the filter, pour the water in and voila, fabulous iced tea!! Yes I had to adjust the number of bags & amount of sugar to my taste, but still, fantastic iced tea!! Thank you for saving me, Mr. Coffee!! I recommend this product to ALL!!!

Nice tea maker
I bought this to replace my tea maker that I've had for years. It works great and the capacity is perfect. The only thing that drives me crazy is when I pour in the water, sometimes if it's at the wrong angle, it will shoot out the hole in the front. Not a big deal... I just have to remember to aim differently. Otherwise, it's perfect. I use it every day.

Excellent Iced Tea Maker
I love this Mr Coffee Iced Tea maker. It makes excellent tasting Iced Tea and is easy to use with no leaks AS OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE DESCRIBED. I use three family size tea bags with the pitcher filled to the three quart mark. Read the instructions and install the tea basket and pitcher correctly and it works perfect. I highly recommend

Excellent Tea Maker
This is a excellent tea maker, and it's super easy to use. The 3 quart pitcher fits nicely into a refrigerator and doesn't consume a lot of space. I use Lipton black tea bags (5 of them) with each brew on the strong setting and it makes delicious iced tea. It's not super long either. Probably around 15 min from start to finish and you can drink it as soon as it's done. I picked this up to try and stop drinking so much soda and after having it around for several months I prefer a nice glass of iced tea over a coke these days. It's going to get a lot of use no doubt. Only down side is the little canister inside that holds the teabags and water while it's brewing is kind of hard to clean inside all the various grooves, but it's certainly no show stopper.

Best iced tea maker ever
This is a great iced tea maker! My husband and I both drink iced tea year round. This is easy to use, brew time is pretty quick, and the tea is consistently delicious. We like strong tea, and if that is your preference, here is a tip: fill the pitcher to the 3 quart line and pour it into the water tank. Use 6 tea bags. Run the brew cycle with NO water or ice in the pitcher. When it's done, pour 3 more quarts of water into the tank, and using the same tea bags, run the brew cycle again. When you're all done, you will have a full pitcher of perfectly brewed, strong tea. It will be hot, since no water or ice was put into the pitcher, but that hasn't been an issue as I brew at night and leave in the fridge to drink the next day. I have had absolutely no problems or issues at all. No leaking or anything else. This is absolutely the best iced tea maker I have ever used! I love it!

Essential if you really like iced tea
I had a first generation version of this appliance and it was notorious for leaking around the spout, but I threw the dice and ordered this updated one. My days of brewing on the stove are over. You don't even need to fill the pitcher with ice, just fill the reservoir up to the one quart level and fill the pitcher with two quarts of cold water. Seven tea bags in the reservoir, push the button, and boom you have iced tea in a few minutes. I drink a LOT of iced tea so I expect to be using this thing a lot. And I love the square-shaped pitcher, it fits perfectly in my refrigerator.

Why did they discontinue this one?
I like this old square model better than the new circle ones. The circle ones seem to be harder to correctly align the pitcher to the brewing unit, which can cause more leaks out onto the counter. I also feel.like the round pitcher takes up more room in my door shelf of the frig. I hate that these square ones are hard to find now.
