Stunning!

Turned out absolutely beautiful. I was shocked (and a little scared) by the vacuum packed brick that arrived. I followed directions and placed in my clothes dryer for 10 min on air fluff (no heat) and it looked better but not great. At the recommendation of another reviewer, I got out my hair blow dryer and fluffed the fur by hand until it was gorgeous. I steamed the satin lining by holding my steam iron up to the inside fabric. It transformed before my eyes! I’m 5’6”, 150 and this covered my shoulders & front to just below my waist. The front tails hung to just below my hips. In back, the wrap covered my back just past my waistline. The colar and trim are very fluffy. I did add another hook about 4” below the one already on the garment. It fit my height better and I used both hooks. This is a 5 min hand sewing job and hooks are available in fabric and craft stores for cheap. I wore this to a beautiful fall wedding on a chilly day and received many compliments. I was hesitant to buy based on some reviews but I am very pleased. I’m looking & hoping for another occasion to wear it. In the meantime, I have friends who’ve asked to borrow it.

Loved my faux fur! Kept me toasty.

Loved it! Looked great for a winter wedding! It was a very fancy affair and many women had real fur coats and capes. Several commented on how beautiful my fur wrap was. I thanked them and didn't say it was faux fur. Loved it.

An amazing deal for the price

I was pleasantly surprised by this item! An amazing deal for the price. I received several compliments and will be able to get many more uses out of it! Tip: it does arrive pretty compressed. I used a litght steaming on the lining side and a low level hair dryer on the fur side to help de-wrinkle and fluff.

I was nervous about getting this. The reviews are pretty mixed and seem to be either relentlessly positive or aggressively negative. I'm going to be one of the former, I think. The wrap came packaged in a plastic bag and so the fur was a bit smushed down in places. It didn't have any serious creases though. There was no weird smell with mine. I feed it through the center of a plastic hanger and let it drape like that whenever it isn't in use. This has helped fluff it back up. The lining is a slick, somewhat cheap satin, but it does its job and it doesn't stand out. The luxe fake fur on the outside is what draws the eye. It feels so indulgent to wear and is fun to play with. I get all kinds of compliments on it and have had several people ask me where they can get one and if they come in other colors. I can't speak to the other available hues, but the black version is quite lovely. If you're looking for a quality fake fur wrap at a reasonable price, this is an excellent pick!

Faux Fur Wrap a Winner

The wrap arrived as and when expected. It was folded inside a zippered plastic bag (for storage later, I assume). There was no funny smell. The "fur" is shiny black and looks luxe, although not as long-haired as the picture seems to suggest, but full enough. The lining is a silky acetate/polyester, so it glides smoothly over my dress. There are no clasps or hooks to hold it closed-and this would be my only complaint. It was wrinkled and will need to be steamed and fluffed a bit. It is a NICE wrap for $40. Just for reference sake in the photo, I am 5'4" and weigh 155, size 12.

This was such a good purchase! $40 for this baby was definitely a fair price. it is so warm, cozy, and elegant AND it's machine washable! I initially bought it as part of my Cruella de Vil costume, but I will be using it in the future for fancier events I attend (when wearing a normal jacket with a dress looks dumb and ruins the whole vibe). I feel like a queen in this. It definitely exceeded my expectations! For reference on sizing, I am 5'4" and consider myself to be a pretty average width. As you can see, it wrapped all the way around me with just enough left to dangle in front for that extra ~elegance~
