Stylish and better than expected!

Just received this stool set a few days ago. Was better than expected! Installation was very quick, takes literally minutes. Build quality is good. It's quite sturdy and stylish. The set looks like $80-100 each not $80 for both! I will update in a few months. But now I'm going to buy another set! A purchase I'll never regret

I thought there was a misprint when I saw the price of these leather chairs. I recently remodeled my kitchen and wanted a chair for my island that swiveled and could accommodate someone who weighed over 200 lbs. These chairs do not disappoint. They're elegant and modern, and very comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time even though they do not have a high back. I like the fact that a person can just turn and step off of the chair without dragging the chair across my new floors. I had a lot of company after I got them, so they really got a workout. The bottom pedestal is larger than some chairs I've seen, which was a plus to me. I wasn't sure this type of chair would be very stable, but they really are. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I feel the value far exceeds the price. If my kitchen island was longer, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of them.

I'm very pleased with my bar chairs! They delivered faster than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Super easy to put together and comfortable.

Excellent Stools for a Great Price

After reading all the negative reviews, I said what the heck. Two bar stools for $85. I went for them. And glad I did. Even without an expert assembly person around and weak instructions, it only took 15 minutes to complete the task. That's from opening the box to throwing out the trash. Back to the instructions, it's easier to insert the gas lift mechanism into the base first then bolt the seat plate to the seat then slide the seat onto the gas lift mechanism. Both stools had zero flaws and are very comfortable. Both stools operated perfectly. So, only time will tell how they stand up to wear and tear. As far as pictures goes, mine look just like the file photos.

Beautiful..Well made looks great in my new kitchen I'm a big guy 6'3 250 I sit on them everyday for breakfast and dinner and they support my weight and their comfortable. So yes I would recommend them..

Unbeatable price and quality!

You just can’t beat the price and simplicity of these bar chairs! Quality is very good and they assemble effortlessly. Like most people on here I read the reviews first and most, if not all of what people said are due to errors in assembly. 1) The “leaning chair” issue. The bottom of the chair is slightly curved to contour to your rear end and the mounting plate of the stand is flat. All four bolts must be tightened evenly to avoid this problem. If one side is tightened more than the other the chair will lean left or right. If this happens loosen the bolts on the side that is leaning and tighten the bolts on the opposite side. Easy fix!! 2) The built in nuts on the chair strip easily. If this is happening then you are severely over tightening the bolts. The bolts have self locking nubs on the undersides of them so “snugging” Them up is all that is necessary. 3) Inserting the lift strut with the protective shipping cap still on the end. It says in the directions to remove this before installation. However, if you happen to do this and you followed the steps in number two and did not over tighten the bolts removing them to get the cap out is a non-issue. I have 4 kids ranging in age from 2 to 12 and the ability to keep each bar chair at a different height is absolutely fantastic. Spills wipe right off, kids have tipped them over on the tile floor, no problems at all!

1 chair showed up damaged

Ordered 4 of these chairs. Everything about them is great except one of them came with a stain on the top. The other three are perfect. Gonna leave a 1 star review until I get this sorted out with the company. Update... just got the replacement cushion from the company, very happy. 5 stars!!!!

Ease of Assembly, Good Looking

These stools are really wonderful - they look good, they're comfortable, and they were easy to assemble. UPS banged up the box pretty badly (it was taped shut when I got it), so I worried that pieces might be missing, but the way these were packed, and the extra plastic and paper on all the pieces showed me that these would be good looking. Assembly was - as I said - really easy, requiring only the included allen wrench and following the directions. The seats adjusted perfectly (both up and down), and they really look good. I'm pleased with the product and will probably order two more.

Great product/price/customer service.

Purchased four of these stools. Great product! Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble (5 minutes each stool). Look great in kitchen and everything works as advertised. One seat was torn in shipping. Even this "problem" was as good an experience as you can expect. Customer Service at Leopard Outdoor Products was outstanding. Had a replacement seat within four days of notification. Problem solved. Seriously, this product for this price and this supplier are great.
