Edited: I left a review for the wrong item previously and am editing it. Apologies to the seller, who so graciously tried to rectify a problem that didn't even exist. The flashlights were great. We used them as favors for our son's birthday goody bags. They were a hit and the kids had a lot of fun playing games with it. We figured we'd include something that had some utility and not just yet another plastic junk.

AWESOME LIGHTS FOR CHILDREN

These are nice little lights. Don't expect much light from these but they make great bedside, car lights and are fantastic lights to give to children. I give these lights out at work and the kids LOVE them. I also give out at Halloween. Great that these include batteries but taking them out of the plastic (packs of two-24 packs) is a pain in the butt. Price on this box of 16 is also extremely low, making it a great deal.

Perfect little kid gifts

These flashlights made the perfect non-candy Valentines for little kids. They work well, came with batteries (although I did have to install them) and they come in bright colors. They are rubberized so they can be dropped without breakage. Most importantly the kids love playing with them. For $1.40 each, the price was very reasonable!

Every single one worked!

These are a great size. I gave them to every family member. We are ready for Hurricane season! They are a nice weight. They came with energizer batteries (I was happily surprised) and they are brighter than I thought as well. I am so happy with this purchase. I would buy again!

Exactly what we needed.

These are great. I got them for myself and my mother. We can now have flashlights all over both houses. Eliminated the problem of trying to remember where we left it last time we used it. Every one worked perfectly - easy to load with batteries. If they don't work it's most likely because you've got the battery group in upside down. It's a wonderful product and super reasonably price. A great deal - and nice colors. The rubberized casing is so easy to hang on to and they are easy to turn on and off.

Great toy!

We had an outdoor fall party and knew the sun would set long before the fun ended. I passed out these cute little flashlights to all of the kids ranging from age 2-12 and they had so much fun with them. The entire pack worked and is still working 2 months later. They make a great toy, but don’t expect a high quality flashlight. It took some time to put the flashlights together. I wish I would have done it before the party as it took some time to cut the batteries apart and put them in the flashlights.

Very useful and handy

I like these flashlights primarily because they are small. They are easy to carry around, light, and I can put one in my shirt or pants pocket. The brightness is pretty good, especially for only 3 AAAs, and they are LED illuminated and not incandescent, so the batteries should last longer. We have all had the larger flashlights, and yes they work well, but are bigger and heavier. These little jewels are about $ 1 apiece including the batteries, so it's a good deal.

Must have small flashlights

Got these to give in gifts bags to vets on Christmas. They are rubber and very bright. They come with all the batteries too. Great

All worked. Good value!

I bought these for loot bags for my son's 7th birthday party. They were a hit! All 16 worked. Very bright. The reviewers that reported receiving dud ones were probably inserting the battery canisters the wrong way. First, you need to place the batteries the correct direction in the battery canister, then you must insert the canister into the flashlight the right way, which actually is easy to get wrong, as both ends look almost identical! Anyway, I had mistakenly inserted the canisters the wrong way for the first 2 flashlights. Once I flipped them they both worked!

Small size. Great light.

Great flashlights. I live in Florida and realized I was in need of flashlights during our last hurricane. Now I have them in every room. These are small but have outstanding light.
