I ordered 10 of these
We have a very busy toddler who is fully embracing his terrible twos. He is into everything! He loves to trash his sister's room and tries to get his own snacks from the pantry. These fit our door knobs perfectly and were a breeze to install. They are a little difficult to remove, I discovered this when I realized I needed more than the first set of 6 I ordered. I have one on the inside of my son's room so he can't escape in the night. My 6 year old daughter found them tricky to use at first but has no problems now. The company also followed up with me to ensure my satisfaction. Very pleased overall.

THE BEST
LOVE THESE. I have been looking for this style door knob covers for a while now. Almost thought I would never find them again. I got some other crappy version from Walmart & my 4yr old was able to break them off. Now that my 2yr old can reach the door locks I was getting very concerned without having proper door knob covers. Had these a couple weeks now & my 4yr old son can't break these off! May need to get more because I almost want them for every door.

Work great
It's going to be a long time before my toddler can open these. I only have one door that really needed a knob cover- the basement stairs, which are a long wooden staircase ending in a concrete floor. We already changed the hinges to self-close (has been the most helpful) but I was still concerned that she would twist the knob. These are very loose but pretty simple for adults to use because of the rubber spots that grip the handle.

Much easier than the "through hole" knob covers
I purchased a pack of "through hole" knob covers, where your fingers reach through the holes and grab the actual knob. Those were very difficult to operate for my wife and I, and impossible for grandparents with arthritis to operate. We purchased these to see if they were any better, and they are MUCH easier for everybody to use, but still keep the kids out. The only downside is that they are a bit small and just barely fit on some of our knobs. If you have large knobs these might not fit.

Rubber grip is essential, definitely use these instead of the ones with just holes!
These are so much easier to use than the doorknob guards that just have holes in them. It's so much easier on my hand grip since there's a little bit of non skid runner to help grasp the doorknob inside the guard. These are absolutely the ones you need to order. We initially bought the ones with just holes and I had to switch to these after just a few days!

Keeps my boys in the house!
Nothing is more terrifying than when you're changing you're baby's dirty diaper, and you're 4 year old proceeds to unlock and open the front door. This has fixed it. They were a snap (literally) to install, and easy for the adults to use. Even my smarter-than-the-average-bear 4 year old can't figure it out. I'm going to buy more for a few more rooms in the house that are off limits (craft room, attic, etc). I'm happy with it!

BETTER THAN THE OTHER BRANDS!
I don't recall which brand we tried before this, but they did not have a rubber grip so you had to insert your fingers into the hole and squeeze or rather pinch the doorknob to turn it. Plus a two-year-old could put his finger in, pull down and break it off. They were cheap and did not work. These ones, on the other hand, work like a charm. Our two-year-old has not yet learned how to operate these, so they remain quite effective and they are easy for the older kids and adults to use. These ones don't feel cheap either. They are about twice the thickness of the other brand we got and hated. So I wanted to review these to say YES! These work so much better than others that are out there.

Love these
So we actually needed these for my mom. She has dementia, so for her safety we've had to put these on our doors so she can't walk outside on her own. They work great, and having these gives my dad and myself peace of mind. Just know they won't fit on every type of door knob. For example, they don't fit properly on our front door, but luckily fit on the security door.

These are perfect
Exactly what I wanted! Newer ones from safety 1st don’t have the area to push in with your thumb and forefinger which makes it difficult to open quickly if your hands are wet. These are perfect
