I bought this a while ago for a home carbonation system. I has worked perfectly, and is very well make. Even came with an extra rubber washer. I figure this will last a long time.

Have used to replace commercial CO2 machines with my own tank and regulator to make sparkling juice or soda. Fits right on a regular 2 liter bottle from the store.

Bought this to rig up a counter pressure filler for filling plastic bottles from keg. It definitely does the job and great that both gas and beer connectors fit on it. With all the connecting/disconnecting the oring takes a beating, wish it would have came with more extras.

Problems with the plastic ones: (1) won't hold carbonation. If I carbonate on Monday, by Wednesday it's flat. So I had to keep cold bottles of water in the fridge and carbonate immediately before use. And then use the entire bottle, because a partially filled bottle loses fizz faster than a full one. (2) after a few months, water comes out the top and back into the hose. This metal one is great. If I carbonate on Mon, it's still good on Wed, and a partially empty bottle still keeps its fizz. Haven't had it long, but if it starts letting water back up the hose, I'll report back.

I have another one of these, but from a different manufacturer. Let me tell you, there ARE differences, and Ferroday is definitely better. It works smoother with the quick-release adapter, and seals the bottles well without needing much torque. Also threads on the bottles quite smoothly.

this is an awesome product. much better than the plastic ones I was using before. threads on very well and has a nice gasket inside to seal to the bottle better. very high quality and will last longer than me. easy to use and it seals nicely with the quick connect adapter. would highly recommend for anyone looking to carbonate their own beverages.

Better carbonation and faster than the typical plastic cap, with a better seal on the bottle for longer-lasting fizz, and no leaky spritz right after you disconnect it. The right tool for the job, and very inexpensive for a nicely machined piece.

So far the cap is doing what it's supposed to do.. and they threw in a couple extra washers etc. Just take note. The inside piece (with the line adapter that goes into the bottle) is not attached to the main body. It screws in..and if it's loose, beer will ooze out side the threads when you take pressure off the bottle. So make sure you wrench tighten it into the body.

Works great with the CO2 injection system sold by Amazon dealer: The Weekend Brewer. https://smile.amazon.com/Injection-System-Paintball-Weekend-Brewer/dp/B06XKYMLL7/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500328436&sr=8-1&keywords=co2+injection+system+paintball

This is a very well built carbonator cap. Have two of these and use them regularly. Work with 1 or 2 liter soda bottles. Tip 1: I suggest connecting a short (few inches, almost to the bottom of the bottle) of clear tubing to the inside barb fitting to send gas directly into your beverage. See picture. Tip 2: Use a shut-off valve to protect your regulator from back flow in case your sticky pressurized beverage goes up the tube. Tip 3: After adding gas, carbonation will be much better if you let the bottle rest at least 20-30 minutes before opening. Open slowly.
