I love my new Pyle 15" Portable DVD

I love my new Pyle 15" Portable DVD. I can take it with me when we travel and watch movies. The screen is so large I have no problem watching for a period of time. I am not a technical person so this DVD is very easy to operate. Hey, I'm 75!

This DVD/CD player fit the bill nicely! According to our solar power invertor

We live off-grid, and we needed a video player that consumed a minimal amount of power. This DVD/CD player fit the bill nicely! According to our solar power invertor, this baby only draws about 15 watts, as compared to the 62-71 watts consumed by our HP laptop. Nice. The buttons are a bit clunky, and the overall feel initially seemed a bit "flimsy" -- however, we have experienced zero problems with our unit. Also, the screen is significantly brighter, and the sound is louder than our laptop. We like it!

Perfect For My Needs

I am an Artist and I wanted a portable DVD player with a good size screen to view photos of my paintings, photographs and video instruction materials. I needed something I didn't have to worry about plugging in and was easy to carry with me. Love the sharpness of the photos and the ease in which I can play videos, use my thumb drive and SD cards. Also it is easy to register and support if needed, readily accessible. It is perfect for what I need. Thank you Pyle.

Big screen. Tons of features.

This has a huge screen, which I love. I also love that you can go to root menu super easily to start a DVD over. Can't figure out how to do that on most players. I religiously unplug it from outlet, as suggested to prolong it's life. It has so many features, but I just love that it plays every time, the volume is great, and it was a good price.

Excellent size/sound! Perfect for dorms!

Was looking for a way to watch movies since I don't have TV or DVD player. I wanted the size to be similar to a laptop. This was perfect! It's actually bigger than my old laptop, as you can see in my picture. Picture quality and sound are great. The only issue I have had is when the scene of a movie is dark the picture is slightly distorted. I have been able to adjust the brightness to fix some of it and I think I can continue to fix it to where it won't be an issue at all. The battery life is as mentioned, about 2 hours or a little more, and it recharges quickly. The fan/disk running is pretty quiet, and it stays very cool even after mni marathon watching! I am very, very happy with this product!

The Pyle 15"inch portable DVD player, is in my judgment is an excellent product, it betters the best. The sound quality is top notch , and the picture quality is so good it brings you right into the scene, makes you feel you are actually there.. The hand remote control is easy to use, I like it because it uses two AAA batteries instead of those weak circular batteries. I am a one star general, but the Pyle 15" inch portable DVD player is a 5 star. I salute this product.

Wonderful buy!!!

This is an EXCELLENT product!!!! It's convenient so that you can take it anywhere. The picture is crystal clear, the sound amazing. I have some 'homemade' DVD's that I put together years ago & they play perfectly on it! I would recommend this DVD player to anyone & everyone!!!

Excellent product. and great buy for the buck!

Good sized screen. Easy to use. Picture clarity is excellent. Extremely light weight and portable. If sitting in front of screen, speakers and sound level are very good. Only experienced slight decrease in sound when I stepped slightly away, i.e. using yoga tape and following instruction: sound was low. However, when watching a DVD, sound was very good. Highly recommend.

I Love It

This has a huge screen-, the picture is clear, crisp and perfect. Sound is great too. Very pleased. I bought one for myself, one for my daughter and when my husband saw how nice it is, he had me get one for his mom for Christmas! They are light and easy to use. Very pleased indeed!

Huge screen!

I just used my new DVD player and it works great. Very large screen which was my #1 reason for buying this product. Easy to use and sound is decent. Certainly connecting it to a higher quality external speaker will add better sound but the self contained speakers work well and have plenty of volume. It doesn't appear to be the most durable electronic I've ever owned but it certainly wasn't too expensive either.
