Completely worth it. As a family who tends to travel, I wanted to invest in a long lead for our guy. He isn’t typically a runner (unless he gets really scared), but its just one of those things you need. This is by far the best deal I’ve found and its great quality. I use it out front of our townhouse for him and our neighbors love it. They think its a great solution to let him be outside when we’re with him, give him some freedom, and still have him leashed. I’m glad I got the heavier duty one as he is a 60 lb dog. I wouldn’t want any issues if he for some reason really started chewing on it

I have a husky, she isn't 90 lbs but she pulls like she it's 200. This is the first cable I've purchased that she hasn't managed to break. She's broken other cables within months. I replace these cables every year because living in Michigan the cold can make the covering brittle and crack, which could lead to a break in the cable, but they never have yet. And best of all, this is one of the lower price cables that I've bought.

I got this cable and another one (different brand) at the same time. Both have been exposed to the beginning of a Wisconsin winter for about a month. The other one I got is already rusty and freezes shut. I have had no problems with this one at all. Holds either of my 70 lb dogs with no problems. I will likely get another of these to replace the other cable I got.

I live way out in the country and my border collie is an indoor dog, but likes to sit out on the deck with me and watch the critters . I worry she will chase a critter or a wandering dog and get into trouble before I can reach her. With the tether rather than an aerial runner, I can always 'reel' her in back to my side if need be. I needed a 50ft tether which was impossible to find, so I bought the 2 pack of 25ft and clipped them together. The length is perfect and so far it has been holding up well and seems safe. Dolly is a 60lb border collie so that tether gets a lot of yanking when those squirrels come by. So far it has held up well. I always supervise her though, just in case. I am sure I will get my moneys worth out of the product.

We have a Siberian Husky mix and needless to say he likes to escape from anything and everything. He not only chewed through a collar and two harnesses, he destroyed -- with this teeth -- two wood gates in our backyard. This tie-out cable has been a godsend! Yes he's tried to chew through it too but has utterly failed so far. There is a clear plastic coating on the cable which of course did not stand up to him at all, but most of it is still attached. The steel cable has not frayed in the least despite aggressive chewing. I admit that I bought a second one just in case it frayed a bit and became a hazard to him ... but so far he's not frayed it at all.

I originally received my 2 tie outs and 1 had it’s front pop off. My husband hooked a thing on it to make it work because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of sending it back. The company sent me a notice asking if I was happy. I told them about the flaw. They were great and sent out a replacement right away. I have to say I was impressed by the customer service. .....so now I have been using my tie outs and feel I can give a fair review! They are nice and heavy, the plastic coating is thick and doesn’t kink up and break like some of the previous tie outs I have purchased. They are heavy and can be tugged. I have 2 Aussies and I will hook them out my back door if I don’t want to go out with them. We continually have deer cross and they LOVE to chase them. The ties are sturdy and let them know the first time.......they can’t chase them while hooked. They are holding up in the snow. I leave them outside and hook the connector on a loop by my door so I don’t have to dig and have a frozen head. The long tie out part is continually exposed to elements and is holding up great. I love that in freezing weather my plastic coating doesn’t crack. I am very happy with my cables.

Very happy with the quality of this tie out. It is sturdy and thick. I use it to tie my dog when we go camping. The length of the cable is long enough for my dog to walk around but still can keep him secure at outdoor environment.

We purchased this tie out cable for our dog's first camping trip. He was very pleased to be able to roam around without us constantly watching over his shoulder and we were just as happy not to constantly watch him. There was more than enough line for him to be able to say hello to everyone and keep himself entertained, but it was also short enough to keep him out of trouble. We hooked the cable around a tree trunk and it held it's own, without causing any damage to the tree. Overall, very happy with this product.

We've got a long-legged English Setter, Buddy and a golden, Bonnie. At 13, Bonnie's pretty much perfect, but Buddy is 3 and nowhere near it. Our yard is way too big for invisible, or visible, fencing and I wanted to be able to take Buddy outside while I garden. This tie out cable is perfect for him. I don't leave him unattended and he wears a padded harness. Sometimes a chicken will stray too close and Buddy will take off like a rocket - one time he cut a flip at the cable's end. Bonnie looked at me and rolled her eyes. The cable withstands his antics. I have one for front yard and another for the back. It was a good purchase and if my son runs over it with the lawnmower again, I'll buy another one.

I bought this for our 2 week RV trip to use with a stake out at our camp sites. We got the 25' length and this was plenty for our needs. We even doubled it up alot to keep her within our site area and out of the road. She is a 90# black lab and loves to chew... in which the cable was tested and came out approved!! We also used the cable without stake and just looped it to back of RV or picnic table. Great quality and super helpful for us and Pepper.
