easy to use, easy to clean up after and,..

before using this the only 'frother' i've used was using the steam out portion on our espresso machine. more often than not of late i just don't have time in the morning to deal with starbucks let alone our espresso maker. so it has been just black coffee for a few months now. nothing wrong with that i just prefer it a bit milder. so over thanksgiving while browsing saw this and thought to give it a shot. it works well for my needs. it is simple and very quick to use. i prefer to use half and half which works better in my experience. very easy to clean up. i dip mine in a cup of warm water while on for a few seconds before heading out the door. it gets most of the residue off that way. unfortunately it isn't rechargeable, takes two AA batteries. i tried rechargeable lithium, rechargeable ni-cad as well as standard disposable alkaline batteries. i found that using high capacity rechargeable ni-cad batteries gives me the most time before needing to be swapped out. there are a bunch sold on amazon if curious. so all in all though i haven't had this for too long i am happy with this little frother whisker. it does precisely what it says it will.

Great Little Tool (for making Lattes)

Bean Envy has very good customer service. I purchased one of their Milk Frothers over a year back and use it about 5+ times a week and had an issue which required me to contact them. They are courteous and prompt. The Frother does the job very nicely. A couple of hints 1) always keep it battery side up when cleaning it so water cannot get into the unit and hang to dry - never lay flat on the counter. I clean the coiled metal tip in a hot cup of water and let it spin for a few seconds to remove milk. About every couple of months I'll let the metal coiled end soak in about an inch of vinegar and that really deep cleans. 2) When putting in batteries make sure that the black cloth strip is kept behind the battery so you can remove the batteries easily. If not they will be difficult to remove. Batteries seem to last a good while - just takes 2 AAs. It is a neat little tool and does the job nicely!

Sturdy and makes great froth

While searching for a good, reliable frother, I read many Amazon reviews. The one thing I realized was they all seem to break down. It didn't matter how much you paid for it or how many stars they were rated. I decided on the Bean Envy because of the reviews, but most importantly, the lifetime warranty. The frother works great and now I enjoy my vanilla lattes at home. This is a great buy.

Great for Bulletproof coffee

I have not used it for milk frothing. I am using this to make Bulletproof coffee. I am impressed with how powerful this is. I had been using an immersion stick blender to make bulletproof coffee, but disliked the plugging in and cleaning up. This is quick and does a better job of incorporating air to improve the mixture. Go slow until butter is melted, then let 'er rip for 20 seconds!

So disappointed

08/17/18* I just received this frother today after ordering it Wednesday. I was so looking forward to using it first thing in the morning. It was a suggestion item that I ordered after ordering an additive for my keto coffee. I opened it up inserted the batteries and the little metal battery holding part flew off and broke. I am so disappointed with this frother!. I sent an email to the company right away and have not yet heard a response. I will keep you updated. Hopefully they will make this wrong right! 08/18/2018. *****Update*****The manufacturer contacted me and is fixing this right away. Never have I received this quick of a positive response. I am so impressed. 08/21/2018***I rece6my new unit today and it works WONDERFULLY! I cannot say enough about the customer service for thus company and have updated my review to 5 stars

Too small and not enough froth

EDIT*. After contact from customer service, I was sent a new frother and this one does seem to be working better than the first one. Customer service contacted me immediately after my initial review and did everything possible to make sure I was happy with my purchase, that in itself speaks volumes for the company, they care! The second frother I received does give me the froth I was looking for! Thanks Bean Envy for being so attentive! Original review: Meh, not that impressed at all. I use heavy whipping cream in my coffee and you would think it would froth well, but sadly no. I actually think the body of the device is a bit too small. I dont have large hands and still find it uncomfortable pushing the top button and holding the body at the same time for the length of time it takes just to get a half way decent froth. I think if the body were slightly bigger/rounder it would give a more comfortable grip. I will probably end up searching for another brand and larger body style.

A great product for those of us who love frothed milk from a company with stellar, notable service!

Bought this for a holiday present and it worked steadily and efficiently until recently. It cleaned easily and made great froth. Alas, we began to need to change batteries or recharge our rechargeables a bit too often. I contacted Bean Envy folks and Dan was amazing in that he immediately sent us a brand new frother! - no charge for the item or for shipping. Now we're happily back in business. All through our email communication Ben couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He never questioned our problem. We did not have to prove anything other than share evidence of the original purchase from Amazon. He took my word! Just where do you find this sort of service and support these days!! Overall I rate this frother with 5 stars. The Battery life will remain average at 2 with the hopes to up that to a 5 after at least a year of steady, satisfactory use. For now, this household is happy!

Superior to my other frother!

I already owned a nice well-reviewed frother--had it for years and was happy enough with it--but I saw this on sale and thought it would be nice to have an extra for the office for mixing keto coffee, collagen shakes, etc. I am SO GLAD I did. This is far better than my other frother, on several counts: * For some reason, it splatters less when mixing, which is a huge plus! So tired of having to wipe up coffee debris * Button on the top is far easier to manipulate and control than my other frother with a side switch * Handy stand makes it easier to store--no more digging for it in a drawer or having to put it back in the case. And it looks fancy, too! Now I wish my old frother would die to give me an excuse to order another Bean Envy. So impressed!

Powerful! Absolutely love it!

I originally purchased another brand handheld frother thinking they were all the same. Very unhappy with the flimsy powerless one I had before I decided to buckle down a find me one that for the job done. I do a bullet proof coffee daily and I need something to mix my coffee well. I decided to go with this one and I am so unbelievably happy! It mixes every to a nice creamy frothy texture. It’s extremely powerful compared to the other one I owned. I also thought the press and hold down button would be a con but IMO it’s definitely a pro it gives me control of what I’m doing and helps prevent making a mess when I’m using a smaller coffee cup. I haven’t used it to froth milk yet, but I’ve had it several weeks and if it can mix my coffee this effectively and with this much power I don’t doubt it will be a breeze to make foam or even a whipped cream quickly!
