Cheap and effective

These things are super cheap in every way. But who cares? I mounted them up where close inspection isn't possible. I am actually really impressed with just how simple they are, and yet pull off the illusion so well. Definitely black tape an additional piece of coax in place and tuck it a few inches away into the house siding or drill a shallow hole to silicone it into. That completes the illusion. These are just enough to make a cautious person (or tweaker) think twice about jumping your fence or stealing your Amazon package off your porch.

Very Realistic

This camera looks very real. It is easy to install and for the money how can you beat it. Don't know how long the batteries will last. We will find out. It's been over a month now and the light still works, I have had many comments about it, all think its real I don't say a thing. I bought this 3 months ago and my batteries just ran out. Read a review where it said it used up batteries, 3 months is not to bad.

they're going to break in if they really need to. Camera or no camera. Now if you were the calculative home robber you'd probably think twice if you looked up and saw that they could very be on camera. Um mm.....I'm not the smartest guy but in this case, "it's a no brainier!" I still need to get door and window alarms. Everybody around me is getting robbed in brood daylight! I was washing my motorcycle at 1:30 pm as the house was being robbed. I did not see the white sedan with the 3 perps but, the thieves began to cut open the screen, the 15 year teen was home from school early. Can you imagine the look on both of their faces! Lol. The young Vietnamese kid ran after them and got the license plate. That could have turned out catastrophic very quickly. Now the house is a fortress with a family of paranoid victims of society. My point? It's time to invest a little money to prevent this scenario.

I love these uncameras!!!!!

We have a small business out of a little house on a busy street. A group of young men would gather every night and smoke slot of cigarettes and hang out on the porch to the house. With these fake cameras mounted in full site inside the glass window, it looked extremely real. The first night they moved around to the side of the house. The second camera I got was placed to watch this area.....It has been two weeks.....No loiterers and no butts. These were great and look very realistic, especially with the flashing LED light. Thank you, great product!

Impressive

They look very real. The battery life is supposed to be a few months. I will have to remove the whole thing from the wall to get to them. I will probably not bother. They look real with or without the blinking light. I put them up high enough that no one cane reach up and pull it off the wall. My neighbors think they are real

Good deterrent to have to keep the house safe.

I wish the camera could be set to move 180/ 360 degrees it only has an up and down movement. I have placed one of them under my guttering so that you can see it at night easily but have to have it installed on it's side so the camera looks like it is installed incorrectly. It still will deter ASIS but more movement to a straight position would be best. Having said the above they are a great price and are plastic but look real which is why I purchased them along with a yard sign. Well worth the money and a good product for the money.. I also placed one camera in my porch hanging from the ceiling looking down the drive (upside down) so you can see it from a far with the red LED light flashing. I have a double glass door and I do not wish for someone to come that close to do damage and entry.

Fake Dummy Cameras--The Look Realistic With The LED Flashing Red Light!

I have issues with my neighbors, I can't quite explain it and quite frankly, it'll take too long to even try. But the base of the point here is that I need cameras for security around my home at all times. The street I live on isn't the best when it comes to security, people keep everything under hush and would much rather turn their cheek than notify their neighbors if they spot a break in. People here can NOT be trusted. So I need all the help I can get! The issue with this is that most home security systems cost an actual arm and leg to have installed on my premises. I adore these dummy cameras so much because it gives off the illusion of keeping my property secure without having to spend too much. For nearly 10 bucks, you get 2 amazing quality cameras that look like the real deal. You can't go wrong with that! I put them up and was so shocked at how realistic they looked, the attention to detail is what really gives the illusion. The fact that they even blink red, makes it look like they are recording. Which in turn, makes my neighbors be on their best behavior when they spot them out of the corner of their eye. They arrived in a nice grey plastic bag, wrapped in yellow duct tape. I was a bit taken aback by the sight of the package, I didn't expect to see something so mysterious arrive at my doorstep. But I am glad, because the last thing you'd want to do is show off these "dummy" cams to your neighbors in plain sight. That will make the illusion not so realistic. lol So the fact that IDAODAN went out of their way to make sure everything was concealed really spoke measures to me. They come in packs of two. Two individual boxes that are basically the same thing. The box itself is nicely illustrated and adorn with images and information. Inside the box, your dummy cams are nicely wrapped in bubble wrap. You also get a little sticker to attach below your cams or on your window that states for a lack of a better way of explaining it--"This house is under surveillance" -All that is included is: Dummy Security Indoor / Outdoor Camera, Weatherproof Battery compartment is behind removable LED lens Blinking LED and realistic wiring make it appear to work as a real security camera. These fake cameras are so real looking that held up next to a real functioning unit you can't tell the difference. I'm almost sure that these will act as a strong deterent against thieves. Actually catching a thief on video actually doesn't help much unless the police already have had contact with the person other than that there's little hope of justice unless it's someone in your neighborhood that your recognize. I think that these units are worth far more in peace of mind than they cost that's for sure and I recommend them to anyone that is having a problem or just wants to help insure better security. Ths signs that come with them are critical and they need to be posted to call attention to the cameras and the fact that they will be videoed. I'd buy then again in a heart beat.

WORKS LIKE A CHARM

Looks totally real, comes with two security signs and two CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) signs. My newborn baby finally sleeps uninterrupted! Children avoid my apartment, illegal solicitors don't dare to knock, and scares the crap out of neighbors. I'm totally stoked! Even though I get dirty looks from my neighbors now, they stopped throwing trash on my porch. I have one camera in my front window pointing at the yard and street, and the other camera in my window next to my front door. Gives me a great sense of security and safety in my horrible neighborhood.

Look like the real thing and the flashing red light is enough to make anyone think twice about doing something stupid on your property. Nowadays there’s cameras everywhere and no thieves want their faces recorded so this is a great deterrent at an awesome price. Everyone that has come to my house says wow you have security cameras and can’t tell that they aren’t real. Friends even wave at it lol. I have four wheelers and miscellaneous toys in my back yard that I would like to keep so I put one of these on each back corner of the house and they look awesome. Very small and not big and goofy but gives that little something extra that will keep undesirable people out. Highly recommend! Oh ya and I love all these guys who know everything and say real cameras don’t have blinking red lights because my real cameras have 3 red blinking lights on all them. Anyways anybody with half a brain is going to ask themselves if it’s worth having their face go viral on social media these days for doing something dumb.....
