I'm really happy with this pack and play mattress. My baby sleeps in a pack and play in my room. I really hate the pathetic "mattress" that comes with it though, I can't see how anybody can be comfortable on that. I used to put blankets down with a sheet over them to make it softer, but wanted a real solution to the problem. The inner spring pack and play mattresses didn't have the best reviews, so I opted for this one. I was hesitant before I ordered that this would be too soft for a 4 month old to sleep on (a safety risk), but decided to order it to see for myself. Out of the box there was a bit of a smell, but that dissipated quickly. I also liked the fact that you can zip off the cover to wash. (However, since I put a sheet down over the mattress I haven't had to do that yet, I just wash the sheet.) As far as the softness, this mattress is perfect. It adds just the right amount of padding, but is in now way "squishy". My baby is a tummy sleeper, and when I watched him sleep on this mattress the first time there as nothing bulging up over his airways. It always remains totally flat. I'd say it's like a firm mattress. It also fits into my pack and play very snugly, so I'm not worried about him getting stuck in any gaps. Pack and play manufacturers always warn against adding any kind of additional padding due to suffocation and SIDS risks. I was hyper aware of that since my baby was only 4 months old at the time. However this mattress provides a sleep surface that is firm enough for me to feel comfortable with using it, while making it comfortable enough for my baby to sleep on it. I'd certainly recommend this mattress to anyone.

I am absolutely obsessed with this mattress!! I have been searching for a pack and play mattress and debating over which one to purchase for months. I have finally found the perfect one for my 6 month old baby and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. She sleeps in her Graco pack and play every night (still too nervous to move her to her crib and would miss her too much) so I really wanted something more comfortable than the mattress it comes with. I was nervous about the fit but it is very snug on all four sides. The foam is very soft and cozy but still firm enough that I don't have to worry about it being too squishy around her face and obstructing her breathing. The waterproof cover isn't squeaky or plastic feeling. It is a nice soft material that the sheet lays nicely on. It is very convenient that it folds up in thirds and the carrying bag is really durable and good quality. I can easily take the mattress back and forth to Grandma's house when we visit. She is a great sleeper but I have noticed she stirs around less when we go in and out of the room while she sleeps. She definitely seems more comfortable. I purchased an American Baby Company jersey knit sheet to go with it and it's a great fit!! Very satisfied with the purchases and highly recommend this mattress for pack and plays!! I would purchase a second just to have as back up if I had the extra money because my baby and I love it so much!

So far we love it. It's a little extra cushion but not so much that it is unsafe. We have the Chicco lullaby play yard and it fits perfectly.

This works so well it could easily be used as the regular mattress! I decided to keep my toddler in the Pack N Play as long as made sense and they were happy sleeping in it, but the firm thin mattress it comes with wasn't going to be a long term good mattress for an older child so I got another mattress to use without knowing this one existed. Now I wish I would've just bought this one because I don't leave the house without it! It fit inside of the carseat carrier WITH the carseat (large convertible) when flying, so I've taken it all over. It comes with a carrying case that works well too, but it does squish down nicely without loosing it's shape. When it arrived at was rolled up super tight but straightened and fluffed right out of the package. It smelled like fresh factory foam so I washed the cover which zips off and put the three foam pads outside to air out which they quickly did. It fit in my Pack N Play Play yard with no gaps, and the American Baby sheet and mattress cover fit perfectly. Can't think of any negatives!

I researched pack & play mattresses extensively in advance of a long trip I was taking with my toddler. If you've done similar research, you know that options are limited when it comes to trifolds. I was so relieved when this product popped up on Amazon, at the price point it did. It worked great for our trip. I highly recommend.

With 4 kids I really don't have a lot of time to write a review but for this one I am doing it if it helps another parent get some sleep - this mattress saved our vacation because all we could take was a pack and play and our 20 month old HATES it as it is hard and uncomfortable. I got this as a last ditch attempt and I have to say this was a blessing and the baby actually slept in the pack and play because of this mattress. I am not getting anything for this review - just wanted to tell you this is "for real" and really made all the difference. Good luck.

We have a Graco Pack N Play that we are using as our one year old's primary crib, so I felt like she needed a little more padding than the pack n play mattress. I didn't want to purchase a large spring mattress for it, I just felt like it wasn't necessary. First, I was surprised at how little the box was that this is shipped in. Must've slipped my mind that foam mattresses being shipped is the newest thing. The instructions state that it may take up to 24 hours for the mattress to fully expand, but I think it took maybe an hour as far as I could tell. When I had it out, my little one already crawled onto it and laid on her back with her toys. So I guess she digs it. It could be used on its own as a nap mat. The cover is pretty high quality. It's thick and has a bubble texture; almost like a typical mattress (see pic). What I like is that on the back the zippers unzip the entire length. So convenient for cleaning. (Have you ever tried to wash couch cushions and shove the foam cushion back in afterwards? At least on my couch I consider this my cardio for the day.) The inside of the cover has a waterproof layer. Definite bonus even though I put a waterproof liner on top. The foam cushions are also enclosed in a sort of mesh to keep them intact (pic). The foam is dense and feels like the same memory foam in an adult mattress topper. On the instructions it states that a child younger than one should not use this unsupervised. Just an FYI. The travel case that came with it is nice. Just a standard grey zippered bag. But really nice feature and an incentive for me buying since we do travel quite a bit. We're a military family and at this moment, it's not worth it for us to have a crib. I like the rounded corners and the matress fits perfectly. No gap at all (see pic). I use the American Baby jersey sheets on this and they fit great. Nice and snug, but not so much that they're stretched. Right now very satisfied with purchase. I will update this review should anything change. UPDATE We are still using this daily. I just wanted to add that I washed the cover for the first time (I used the delicate cycle just to be safe) and tumble dried on low. I had no issues with shrinking, snagging, or ripping. Cushions easily went back in. UPDATE 2 Little one just turned 2 and this mattress is still in great shape after a year of daily use and travel. I mean, she’s less than 30 lbs so it’s not like there’s a ton of pressure on it, but cushions still look (and most importantly feel) the same as day 1. UPDATE 3 Our daughter is two and a half and we just transitioned her to a “big girl bed” when we moved. I have washed this cover several times and I didn’t even have pilling happen (I washed on cold, delicate, just to be safe, tumble dry low). I’m shocked that after daily use for a year and a half that this cushion still looks the same. The foam has remained unaffected (no dents or wearing from where she slept). Was a great investment knowing she was comfy and certainly has a much smaller footprint than a crib mattress! I’m probably going to make a slipcover for it and continue to use it as a little lounger for her.

We bought three of these at the last minute to use on our first weekend trip with three 1-year-olds. They appeared to be new to Amazon; we decided to take a chance versus the tried-and-true PnP mattresses that were recommended and had great reviews, but were more expensive and didn't fold. Upon arrival I thought something might be wrong because the boxes were so small, but turns out they vacuum-pack them in bags and roll up for shipment - don't let this deter you (suddenly I was skeptical). After setting out for about an hour, they expanded back into shape and are just about the perfect density. When used on top of the standard pack and play bottom board/foam pad, they work great. They end up being about 1.5"-2" thick. The fitment in the bottom of the two Graco PnP variations we have couldn't be better. There are no gaps around the perimeter and the rounded corners fit perfect. They tout this as making the fit more "universal" which I was unsure of at first, but turns out it makes it fit exactly right in the Gracos. The bags they come with are great - Significantly heavier than the PnP storage bags; nice heavy vinyl (waterproof? I would guess so). They fit the mattresses fairly loosely, which is awesome, because it seems like most of the included bags with these kinds of things are so tight you can never get them back in. Additionally we can throw a sheet or two in there so everything stays together. For us, with three babies who all have different sleeping habits, these worked awesome for everyone. During their first vacation away from home (three nights), they all slept through every night - I would say they actually slept better on these mattresses then they do normally at home. Great purchase that may have been what made our trip a success..

This mattress has been a Godsend!!! My son absolutely hated the pack n play. Once I would put him in it, he would scream until I got him out. I was going on vacation and needed him to be able to sleep in his pack n play since his crib wasn't coming with us. I purchased this mat and VIOLA he slept in his pack n play with no issues!!! It fit perfectly in my Graco PackNPlay. I highly recommend this to anyone to try! The picture is my 3 months old laying on it.

I did research on several different pack n' play mattresses and decided on this one, due to its ability to be more easily toted around. We just went out of town and it was very nice having a mattress that more easily travels. The travel case is so nice, as well! My son has never slept well when on out of town trips so we thought adding a mattress to his pack n' play might be helpful. This weekend was our first time using the mattress and I did notice an improvement in his sleep. His sleep was still not as good as when home in his crib but I think that is inevitable for my kid. I did notice he slept for a longer period of time while in the pack n' play, so I credit that to the mattress! I really like that the mattress comes with a waterproof mattress pad that can be zipped off and washed. Because of that nice addition, I did not buy a separate mattress pad. One thing I noticed, when I put the sheet on the mattress alone, because of the tri folds, the sheet would collapse the mattress. But once I wrapped the sheet around the original pack n' play mattress and this mattress, the sheet stayed in place great and I had no issues of the mattress buckling.
