Cheap. Not cheaply made.

Used for oil painting. No problems five 18x24 landscape paintings later. Holds the paints well, cleans easily, haven't lost any bristles in the paint.

Great quality for the price

Great quality for the price (I paid $18), I've used them for acrylic and gouache so far and I haven't had a single hair fall out of place. Customer support responded to me within 30 minutes and were very helpful. In addition, the case is good quality and can zip closed with my mop brush, a couple other small brushes, pallet knife, and glass pallet scraper inside. The bristles are synthetic Taklon, they keep a very nice point and do not fray. I did sand the handle of the pallet knife a little because it is unfinished wood, not splintery but not smooth. Overall I would recommend these brushes to painters of any skill level, and with proper care they will last a very long time.

I'm very pleased.

For $22 dollars I don't see how you can go wrong. Figure $2 for the case, $1 for the sponge and palette knife, and $19 dollars for 15 brushes. That's about $1.25 for each brush. Two of the ferrules are not rock-solid tight and they're not premium brushes, but I didn't have to give $100 for the set either. I'm very pleased.

Very nice set

I bought this set to use with oil paints. So far, my go to brush is number 8. It's holding it's shape quite well after using it on a few canvas panel projects. I'm pleased. I'm also grateful for the excellent customer service I received. I'm definitely buying another set of these brushes soon. It's nice to have two sets, one for the reds and yellows.. another for the blues greens and brown. The case is very well constructed. It's going to be great for travel.

Great value and quality!

I am mostly and acrylic artist. But I bought these to paint with oil’s. They are very quality brushes for the money spent. The bristles are well-trimmed, not too soft, have not shed bristles, and have a good bounce! I also love the case because it keeps my oil brushes separate from my acrylic brushes and although there isn’t a stand that that doesn’t really matter to me that much. The quality of the brushes was what matters to me the most. The brushes are for smaller paintings only and will not work well for larger paintings unless you are going for small details.

Just tried these out and so far they are fantastic. As a bonus, I discovered the brush holders do convert into a brush stand. You just have to bend the backing into the right shape and the velcro is already set up to hold it.

I love this brush set they are pretty amazing

I love this brush set they are pretty amazing. I began to get into painting and realized I need a durable set of brushes that wouldn't lose there hairs. These brushes are it for sure I have been painting with them for a few months now and they still haven't lost any of there bristles and the paint goes on really smoothly,especially with acrylic. I would defiantly recommend these brushes to any anyone. I can't say I have a dislike about them at all I mean it even comes with a handy case. That can stand your brushes up, it really comes in handy when you are switching between each brush.

One of the Best Brush Kits I've Used!!!!

This particular brush kit is unlike others I've used in that the kit is tucked away safely in a compact, zippered carrying pouch. Heck of a deal!

I didn’t want to review these brushes until I had given them a good workout. I paint every day and I have used them for a week or so. I am VERY impressed with the quality, especially the rounds. They hold a large amount of paint and maintain an incredible point. I own an incredible number of brushes, from the cheap craft store variety to some outlandishly expensive sables, and these guys hold their own with any of them. This is a deal that really can’t be beat!!

I'm a beginner for sure but so far I love this brush set! They seem to be really great quality and are holding up very well.
